| Lagos pastor arrested for harbouring and defiling young girls (photos) Posted: 02 Sep 2016 01:39 PM PDT   Upon receipt of the information, the X-squad unit of the command mobilised to the apartment and subsequently rescued 13 girls whose age ranges from 13 to 18years, consequently the pastor was arrested. Further investigation revealed that the pastor who was in the habit of having sexual intercourse with the girls at will had also procured abortion for some of them. The suspect who is currently undergoing interrogation with the command admitted he had sex with only 6 of them. The victims have been taken for proper medical examination while the commissioner of police, Cp Fatai Owoseni has directed that the suspect be charged to court at the conclusion of the investigation. They both do not have the same path to success. This is exactly why people get into political offices and they are pushed to steal. The other day one lady asked me why I showing off in a monster truck when people are hungry. My monster truck is below N4m. The same lady attended a wedding at Civic Center, her diamonds necklace, wristwatch, rings, bracelets and Chanel bag would round up nicely at N14m plus or minus! But I am the one who shows off. So, as @daddyfreeze has explained, @simoncowell may wear a T-shirt, but will he stay in a $80 a night hotel room? I will stay in $30 hotel SEF. All fingers no equal. What we should learn how to do is not equate ourselves with others when it comes to rewarding ourselves. I can afford it, but you won't see me pouring champagne on the floor to show I have arrived. Some people who own Gwagons are not as rich as those who don't own one. Choices differ |

| Graphic Photos: Man burns wife's mother and brother to death in Bayelsa State after she divorced him Posted: 02 Sep 2016 11:08 AM PDT  A 37-year old man allegedly set the home of his in-laws on fire at Isampou in Ekeremor LGA in Bayelsa state, killing the mother-in-law, after his wife divorced him. The brother-in-law, who sustained first degree burns later died at the hospital. According to Leadership Newspaper, the incident occurred on Thursday, at about 9pm. Angry mob from the community stormed the suspect's village in speed boats with the burnt corpses to carry out a reprisal attack by setting ablaze his family house ablaze in Bomadi, Delta State. It was gathered that the suspect was having marital problems with his wife who later called off the marriage and returned to her parent's village. An Isampou indigene said: "Yes I heard about the fire. We gathered that the wife left him some days ago insisting that she does not want to marry him anymore. The wife was living with her husband at Bomadi, Delta state before she left for her mother's house at Isampou, Bayelsa" The jilted husband allegedly poured fuel in and around the home of his mother-in-law with the intention of roasting the Wife, who was reported to have planned to sleep in her mother's room. "Though the wife had planned to sleep. But changed her mind at the last minute and moved to the house of a friend. | Photos: 17-year-old boy's hands chopped off for allegedly stealing medicinal plant Posted: 02 Sep 2016 08:20 AM PDT  A teenage boy had his hands chopped off with machetes after being accused of stealing miraa.(medicinal flowering plant ) The 17-year-old victim, who hails from Mporoko village, was attacked by seven men while coming from a nearby shop. He sustained a deep cut on his head while both hands were chopped off at the wrist during the attack and is currently recuperating at Meru Teaching and Referral Hospital, Kenya.  Speaking to Nairobi News from his hospital bed, the victim said he identified the assailants who included two young men, their father and grandfather. "I was walking home on a path next to their farm when one of the men called me. Because I knew them, I went where they were. They started accusing me of being a miraa thief. While I was defending myself, one of them jumped and cut me on the head. One of them said they should not let me go without chopping off my hands. Their father tied my hands and placed them on a post. That is when their grandfather cut one of my hands and asked his grandsons to chop them off," he said.  The attackers stripped the boy naked and left him for dead in the middle of the nearby road so that he could not walk home, since it is a taboo for a circumcised man to walk naked. "I hid myself in the bush until around 12am when I walked home. I reached home at around 2am," The victim's lawyer Kirimi Mbogo said three suspects identified as Kirema M'Itirikia, M'Itirikia Itirikia and Stanley Kibundu are in police custody while four others are being sought by police. "This is a very inhuman act and the suspects must be brought to book. As the family lawyer, we I will leave no stone unturned until justice is done for the family," Mr Mbogo said. |
