Now that the dollar is ridiculously high...Freeze may have made a good investment with all them watches

"especially with the recklessness of the last regime, coupled with their absolute lack of foresight. Global oil prices were falling, alternative energy was a major issue as every automaker was cutting down engine size and adding a turbo or making their engines hybrid thus demand for oil was dwindling and all of a sudden the US discovered a clever way to produce oil. Most people didn't have my foresight so they didn't share my school of thought..... Well they say most people don't see the big picture. It's tempting to laugh at them for the way I was mercilessly crucified.....But I won't... I won't give myself unmerited credit for being a financial genius as I only expected to guard the value of my investment in a dwindling economy, so this is a windfall beyond my wildest expectations. In Genesis 26:12 Isaac sowed and reaped a hundredfold in a time of famine. But unlike the biblical Isaac, I don't want a testimony while millions starve. I want my Nigeria back. Back to its original glory of being a land of milk and honey. And for the moral of the story, I would leave Chris Brown to say it with a song: "Please don't judge me, so I won't judge you........"

Boxer Manny Pacquiao comes for gay people, says gay couples 'are worse than animals'

Posted: 16 Feb 2016 08:28 AM PST

Philippino boxer Mannie Pacquiao, who has won world titles in eight different weight divisions, has risked the wrath of the gay community worldwide after he implied gay couples were worse than animals as they (gays) couldn't differentiate the opposite sex from the same sex.

Manny, who is currently running for a senate seat in the country's May elections said this when asked about his views on gay marriages which is against the law in the Philippines.

Pacquiao gave the television interview as part of his campaign for one of 12 seats in the nationally-elected senate.
"It's common sense. Do you see animals that go male to male or female to female? So the animals are even better," Pacquiao told local broadcaster TV5 in an interview aired this week. "Because they know how to distinguish from male to male or female to female. Right? Now if we allow male to male or female to female, then that makes us worse than animals."
It is not the first time, Pacquiao a devout christian has blasted gay relationships and marriages saying his new found faith in Christianity has turned him from a free spending gambler to a devout family man with principles.

Filipino comedian Vice Ganda and singer Aiza Seguerra, who are openly gay, have criticised Mr Pacquiao for his comments, calling him a "hypocrite" and a "false prophet". On Tuesday, Mr Pacquiao, posted a picture of himself with his wife on Instagram in an apparent response to the controversy. He said:
"I rather obey the Lord's command than obeying the desires of the flesh. I'm not condemning anyone, but I'm just telling the truth of what the Bible says."

Philippines to auction former first lady's jewelry collection valued at about £14.5million

Posted: 16 Feb 2016 08:20 AM PST

The jewelry collection of Philippines' former first lady, Imelda Marcos, valued at about £14.5million is to be sold by the Philippines government. The jewels were seized in 1986 when dictator Ferdinand Marcos and his family fled to Hawaii following a popular revolt that ended his 2 decades in power.

Now, 30 years later, the government has approved the auction of the collection, which includes a 25-carat rare pink Indian diamond which was probably cut in the 18th century worth at least £3.5million, officials said.

It is alleged that the dictators family amassed billions of dollars in ill-gotten wealth, his wife, Imelda, who is now a member of congress, was famed for her excesses of which her huge shoe collection was a symbol. The government had formerly tried to auction the jewelry collection in 2005 but that move was contested by Imelda who claimed ownership of two of the three sets, she has vowed to recover what she sees as her family's assets.

The couple's only son, Ferdinand, who is a senator, is in the race for vice president in the countries February elections and the polls show him to be a strong contender.

Touching account of how a young girl was hit by a car in Abuja and bystanders ignored her body and went about their businesses

Posted: 16 Feb 2016 07:32 AM PST

A Facebook user, Jaafar Jaafar shared this touching post written by Hafiz Bobby Usman:
"That was also how Monica was hit by a car on the road to Gwarinpa just after the Life Camp roundabout here in Abuja, and her body left in the middle of the road with roadside traders going about their businesses and some cars actually driving over her body. When I drove up and saw the situation, I parked my car, stepped onto the road to halt the traffic and asked some of the people there to help me get the body off the road.
"That was when everyone started rushing to help. We managed to get in touch with her family who live just across the road but had no clue what was happening a few metres away, and the Life Camp police station who sent two of their officers to accompany us to the hospital. "We took the body in my car to the Wuse General Hospital and that was where another drama ensued. "The mortuary attendant demanded we pay N25,000 to, according to him, buy chemicals to embalm the body, etc before he would accept the body. I told him and the doctor in charge point blank that we would not pay a kobo since the government had already provided for that in the hospital's budget! I raised so much hell in the hospital that night that they eventually had to cave in and accept the body just so peace could return! After that, we went back to the police station where I wrote a statement. "I was so disturbed that night that I couldn't sleep so I got the day's Sunday Trust newspaper to read. That was when I saw that my Oga, Tope Fasua's Global Connections column that day was on the menace of pedestrians being knocked down by motorists on Abuja roads. I sent him a text message narrating that night's incident. The next morning, I received a phone call from one of her brothers to inform me that they had retrieved the body from the morgue and were already on the way to their hometown of Zangon Kataf in Kaduna State for the funeral. "The following week, I stopped in Zaria on my way back to Abuja from Birnin Kebbi. As soon as I switched on my phone, text messages asking God to bless me, etc started coming in in torrents from numbers I didn't know. Not knowing what was happening, I bought a copy of the day's Sunday Trust only to discover that my Oga above had published my text message to him the previous week in his column of that week! "The point is when you see something wrong being done, try as much as possible to change it. Don't wait for someone else when you can do it yourself, because everyone else is waiting for someone else. And in the end, nothing gets done while everyone keeps complaining about how bad things are"

Senior lawyers and journalist frustrating the war against corruption- EFCC boss says

Posted: 16 Feb 2016 07:30 AM PST

Acting Chairman of EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, says senior lawyers and journalists are frustrating the war against corruption in Nigeria. According to Magu, these respected lawyers collect part of the money stolen by corrupt Nigerians to defend them and delay justice. Magu said this while speaking at a meeting with a coalition of Civil Society Groups who visited him at EFCC Headquarters in Abuja today February 16th;

"One of the big challenges we have in the effective prosecution of the war on corruption, is that of very senior lawyers who Nigeria has been very kind to: They who went to good schools when Nigeria was good, many of them, on government scholarship; they who Nigeria has given so much opportunity. When we have corruption cases, cases of people who have stolen food from the mouths of our children; when we have cases of people who have stolen money meant to build hospitals and buy drugs; when we have cases of people who have stolen all the money meant to buy guns for our soldiers to fight Boko Haram, when we have all these cases of wicked people who have stolen Nigeria's money, they run to these same senior lawyers, give them part of the stolen money and mobilise them to fight us, to delay us in court and to deny Nigerians of justice. These are the people who do not want justice for the common man. The other day, 34 Senior Advocates of Nigeria fought against only one small EFCC lawyer in court and he defeated all of them! What we are doing today is not by our power, it is the power of the Nigerian people and the power of God behind us! Corrupt people hire journalists to abuse us every day, they say we are not doing the work according to the law. But, that is not true. There is no agency that follows the law more than EFCC. None. Before we arrest you, or seize your property or do anything to you, we check the law, we go to court and get court order. That is why we are winning; that is why we are defeating them everyday. We want the Nigerian people to continue to support us, continue to support Mr. President's war on corruption. We have many corruption cases in court. We are getting them every day from everywhere and we are recovering stolen money and taking corrupt people to court. The money we have recovered and the money we are going to get back from them -billions and billions of Naira- is being paid back to government and will be used to do what it was originally meant for -to build hospitals, send our children to school, build roads and railways, create employment and defend our country. We have no other country than Nigeria. This war is the war of the people. Apart from the fear of God, we have no other fear. Apart from the interest of Nigeria, we have no other interest. And apart from the Rule of Law, we have no other rule guiding the work we are doing today. The days of impunity are over. Victory is certain for the common man! Aluta continua!"he said

5 Natural Treatment To Sexual Problems and Erectile Dysfunction

Posted: 16 Feb 2016 06:51 AM PST

Men can judge themselves pretty harshly when it comes to their performance in between the sheets.
The unsettling fear of not being able to rise to the occasion becomes a recurring nightmare for men that is often equated with failure, loss of dignity, and masculinity.

If you suffer from erectile dysfunction (ED) or any form of Sexual Problems, don't be so hard on yourself, since impotence can almost always be improved with treatment, without having to rely on Viagra or other medications.

Whether you suffer from ED, or hope to prevent the condition, here are six tips to overcome impotence and weak erection without the side effects of the little blue pill.

1. Walk 2 Miles in Your Own Shoes

When it comes to boosting sexual performance, many men will walk all over God's green earth looking for ways to maintain a good sex life. Luckily men, all you have to do is walk — not run — 2 miles a day.

Getting to a healthy weight and maintaining it is a good strategy for preventing and treating ED and weak erection.

2. Move Your Nether Regions

The phrase "use it before you lose it" can be applied when it comes to helping men with ED regain normal erectile function.

Pelvic exercises, more commonly known as kegel exercises, are used to promote urinary continence and sexual health.

They help to strengthen the bulbocavernosus muscle, which does three things: allows the penis to engorge with blood during erection, it pumps during ejaculation, and it helps empty the urethra after urination, according to Healthline.

3 Quit smoking.

Smoking can make ED worse, since it interferes with your circulatory system and is linked to diseases that cause ED. If you're having trouble sustaining an erection, now might be the time to give up the cigarettes for good.

If quitting doesn't seem possible right now, cut back as much as you can. If you can limit your smoking to a few cigarettes a day, that's better than smoking a pack.

4. Take This Amino Acid Found in Your Body

L-arginine, an amino acid that is naturally present in the body and helps make nitric oxide, supports a successful erection. Nitric oxide is responsible for making the blood vessels relax, which helps sustain an erection for men.

Thirty-one percent of those who took 5 grams/day of L-arginine experienced significant improvements in sexual function.

5. Drink Watermelon Juice

A cold slice of watermelon can do more than just satisfy thirst and hunger during the warm summer months; it can help with bedroom satisfaction. Citrulline, the amino acid found in high concentrations of watermelon, is found to improve blood flow to the penis.
