| Nkiru Sylvanus set to wed Oge Okoye's ex-husband, Stanley Duru Posted: 30 Dec 2014 12:35 PM PST   Like I said in the last post, Stanley was first Nkiru's boyfriend but while they were having issues he met Oge, she got pregnant and they did some kind of introduction. They broke up and now he's back in Nkiru's life. They were supposed to get married this past Saturday Dec. 27th but sources close to Nkiru say it didn't happen and that they will likely marry early 2015. Nkiru will eventually release a press statement to address the drama. I hear Oge is furious about this and people close to her say though she's moved on from Stanley, she's devastated he's trying to humiliate her by marrying her colleague. |

Jonathan made this remark while receiving the state Governor Dickson Seriake and traditional rulers from Bayelsa state at the Presidential villa in Abuja today December 30th "I always say that I will not even expect praises now because hardly do people praise serving leaders. It is when you leave, people will begin to know. When you leave, people will begin to compare what you have done over the period vis-a-vis what others have done, then they will compare you with whoever takes over. Probably that is the time some people will begin to say good about you. But I will do my best to make sure that we do change things. We are trying to create enabling environment for our economy to thrive irrespective of the challenges we are having in the petroleum sector and the security challenges we have. I will do my best so that by the time I will leave, you will be able to say that when our son was there, he served the country well so that one day, another son of Bayelsa may be given another opportunity to serve Nigerians", he said. |

We all know it was too risky for the president to visit Chibok at that time. The president is not a soldier, soldiers are the people that should be sent there. If I was the president and such an incident occurred, the right thing for me to do was to send soldiers and to be frank, our soldiers are doing their best. We are hearing on radio and reading on newspapers how soldiers are being killed but yet they are doing their best. I don't know what is happening, the Minister of Defence, Ali Gussy, is a northerner, the National Security Adviser is a northerner, the Inspector General of Police is northerner, the Chief of Defence Staff is also a northerner. "All Nigerian soldiers are under his order, if all these people cannot address the problem how would it be easy for the president to do it? Don't forget that suicide bombers are now experts, so what will happen if they ambushed the president and something bad happened to him? Do you think his people will accept that? After listening to the submission of the prosecuting counsel, the judge who presided over the case, Datuk Halim Aman, found Uzochukwu guilty and sentenced him to death by hanging. |

At the same time, every man has a particular type of girl he's been envisioned to settle down with (It might not be known to him until he finds the mrs right).If I'd wish to settle down with a Loud person for instance, and you are a loud person but pretends to be all quiet and cool, you don't expect to get a ring from me. Message been, be your true self at all times. Somebody wants you the way you are. Someone has been searching for you all his life. It might be true that a bunch of guys might have used and dumped you but that's surely their lose. Continue been real...verily I say unto you, you are worth more than billions to one cool gentle man out there. A man who has it all and currently searching for you. Don't expect to meet your man in one of those scenarios you've read in novels or love stories. Wedding ceremonies, on a plane or all have you. | Cause of Ebola outbreak was 'a young boy playing near colony of infected bats', scientists say Posted: 30 Dec 2014 06:13 AM PST  Scientists said today that the cause of the deadly Ebola virus that hit West Africa this year was a 2 year old boy, known as patient zero, who played on a tree near a colony of virus-infested bats in his village in Meliandou, Guinea. He was the first person to die but before he died, he infected other family members, who then spread it to others and the virus eventually spread into other areas in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Nigeria and Senegal, before moving to the US, UK and Spain. This Ebola outbreak is by far the largest ever-recorded outbreak and it has killed about 7,800 people by Dec. 17, 2014, according to WHO. |

Internet banking can be used to perform many basic banking transactions such as funds transfer, bill payments, account balance checking, and printing of account statements and such. · Mobile Banking - This is another alternative banking channel. To start using mobile banking, you will need to download your bank's mobile banking application first. This is quick and easy to do. Alternative banking channels make banking easier and faster for customers. By using these channels also, customers no longer need to carry large amounts of money on them. AirAsia plane carrying 153 people overshoots runway in Philippines Posted: 30 Dec 2014 04:49 AM PST  Two days after an AirAsia airliner carrying 163 people plunged into the sea, another one carrying 153 passengers overshot the runway at an airport in the Philippines today December 30th, forcing passengers to disembark the aircraft on emergency slides. The incident occurred at Kalibo Airport in Aklan province in Philippines according to a journalist Jet Damazo-Santos who was on board and shared the photo above on Twitter. "Engine was shut immediately, we were told to leave bags, deplane asap. Firetruck was waiting,' she said There have been no word from AirAsia officials about this latest incident but according to Jet, no passenger was injured in this latest mishap. |
| VP Sambo and Gen Buhari fail to present their certificates to INEC Posted: 30 Dec 2014 04:55 AM PST   Arc. Namadi Sambo who presented his nomination forms to INEC on Dec 10th stated in his form that his BSc and MSc certificates from his Alma mater, Ahmadu Bello University ABU got burnt in a fire incident. He however tendered a "To Whom It May Concern" letter from authorities of the ABU stating that he was a student of their school. The letter in part read
On his part, APC Presidential candidate, General Buhari said he could not tender any of his academic certificates before INEC because all his certificates are with the Military board and not at his disposal. An affidavit sworn by Gen Buhari rtd at High court in Abuja on November 24th to this effect reads in part,
All political aspirants are expected to tender their academic certificates while submitting their nomination forms. Other aspirants including President Jonathan have tendered their certificates to the electoral body. |
