| ‘PDP Will Not Insult The In-Coming President’ - Olisa Metuh Posted: 17 Apr 2015 09:54 AM PDT 
"The PDP is a political party built on values, tradition and utmost respect for democratic tenets. Our manifesto and ideology center on national peace, stability and prosperity and we shall uphold this at all times. In this wise, the PDP as always, will continue to work in the general interest of the Nigerian people. "We will not resort to insults, blackmail and lies with the aim to distract or ridicule the person or office of the President. However, we must state in very strong terms that we will not allow them to lead the nation astray. So we will firmly oppose any anti-people policy and programmes as may be introduced by the APC. "We will do this by presenting sound alternatives in such a manner that Nigerians will be the utmost beneficiaries especially on issues that will lead the nation in the path of national unity and development", Metuh said while responding to questions at the programme. Commenting on the conduct of the April 11, 2015 governorship and state assembly elections, Metuh lamented that the process was characterized by brazen irregularities against the PDP in most states. He upbraided INEC and security agencies for the barefaced overzealousness on the part of some of their personnel to please the winners of the Presidential elections. Metuh said concerns are already on the rise regarding the fate of the nation's democracy under the APC especially given fears that the impunity that characterizes the local government elections it conducts in Southwest states may now be extended to other parts of the nation. Noting that the elections witnessed massive conspiracy against the PDP, Metuh said his party would not complain in areas where the people clearly preferred the candidates of other parties, but will decisively pursue its mandate in places where there were clear infractions against the PDP. He said such instances abound in states such as Imo, Jigawa, Plateau, Adamawa, Lagos, Bauchi, Kano, Kaduna, Zamfara, Nasarawa and other concerned states. He observed that in Imo state, authentic result sheets were replaced with those from Kaduna and Katsina states with fictitious figures awarded to APC. According to him, the most scandalous was in Ideato North Local Government Area where INEC awarded about 34,000 votes to the APC even when the number of PVCs collected in the area stands at about 26,000. |

| Dear LIB readers: Who do I report my husband's excess demand for sex to? Posted: 17 Apr 2015 09:42 AM PDT  My husband's sexual libido is so high that as his wife, I am exhausted and tired. He demands for sex from me like every other day and my refusal has caused issues between us. It is not like I am trying to run away from my marital duties but sometimes I just need him to understand that the rigors of work and taking care of our three little children takes its toll on me and sex is sometimes the last thing on my mind. I might just want to rest and as hardened a he is, even when he sees that I climb the bed by 11.30pm and I am to wake up by 5.30am to start preparing the children for school, he doesn't care and still demands sex from me. I am Tired. Now I am thinking if I should talk to my Pastor or his Father so that they can talk to him for me. Is this a right or wrong move? |

| Pics: Woman shoots & kills man she met on Craigslist for injuring her cervix during sex Posted: 17 Apr 2015 08:12 AM PDT  Florida police say the two connected on Craiglist and agreed to meet for casual sex but something went horribly wrong. According to reports, Jessica told police that after the sex, she felt extreme pain in her cervical area and went to the hospital where she was told that her cervix had been damaged. Police say that Jessica contacted Marteese to tell him that his large penis had damaged her cervix and may have prevented her from having children. She then asked him to pay her hospital bill. When Marteese refused, Jessica drove to his home with a gun... Investigators say when she got to his home, she shot him three times, killing him instantly. One of Marteese's neighbour told authorities during an interview. "I was washing dishes when I heard the gunshots, I couldn't believe it was happening in our neighborhood and when I heard who I was equally shocked."Jessica is currently being charged with first degree murder and being held without bail. |

| 20 die from Cholera outbreak in Ebonyi state Posted: 17 Apr 2015 06:36 AM PDT  Dr Ashi said one student of the Ebonyi State University has died from the epidemic while 9 of them are in the hospital after contracting the disease. 15 students of the Girls High School, Azuinyiokwu were also affected by the disease and were rushed to the Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki, where they were treated and discharged. Dr Ashi said the outbreak of the disease was largely due to the villagers in the communities fetching and using water from a dirty pond after their community boreholes stopped working... "Some of the community members have boreholes and when some of the boreholes breakdown, the people, rather than repair it, resort to pond water. Hawkers will display Suya along the road and flies perch on them and people patronize them without considering the health implication. In Abakaliki, most houses do not have toilet facilities and people defecate around the houses. This leads to disease outbreak because the same flies that perch on the faeces also perch on foods". he said |

| MC Galaxy attacked at Shizzi's studio by Davido and his driver Posted: 17 Apr 2015 05:53 AM PDT  According to someone who witnessed the beat down, trouble started after MC Galaxy told B-Red that he (Galaxy) was more popular than him (B-Red). B-Red didn't agree and they went back and forth. Then an HKN Gang member, who is a Ghanaian artist, told MC Galaxy that he was not funny as a comedian. MC Galaxy replied, telling him that he was an unknown artist, and they went back and forth yabbing each other. They said all of a sudden Davido came out from the studio and asked MC Galaxy to leave. Continue... I contacted MC Galaxy to confirm he was attacked and he confirmed it but didn't want to talk much about the incident. "Yes, I was attacked by Davido, his driver also broke a bottle on my head. Davido is someone I love and I am surprised he did this. The state commissioner for Information and Strategy said the illness and sudden death is connected to an exhumed corpse in the community. He said people who've died so far were those who had contact with the people who exhumed the corpse. However, a source told LIB that it was a group of people who invaded a shrine that are being attacked "The said death by an unknown disease in Ode Irelein Ondo state, is not a disease as believed, it's actually a spiritual attack in the village meted on some indigenes in that locality who invaded the village shrine.."  |
