| “Abubakar Shekau” killed was one Bashir Mohammed - SR Posted: 22 Sep 2014 12:53 PM PDT  Cameroonian authorities yesterday released a photo of a dead man they identified as Abubakar Shekau, the loquacious and attention-seeking leader of the terrorist group that has launched deadly strikes in Nigeria's northeast zone as well as Cameroon. The Nigerian intelligence source told SaharaReporters that Nigerian soldiers, not Cameroonian troops, had killed Mr. Bashir last Friday in a fierce battle against Boko Haram insurgents in Konduga, Borno State. The late Mr. Bashir, who bore a striking resemblance to Abubakar Shekau and had appeared in a recent video, was killed as he led insurgents who were attempting to capture Konduga and then made a bid to seize Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, as well.Source: Sahara Reporters |

| South African minister says death toll at Synagogue building collapse now 115 Posted: 22 Sep 2014 07:31 AM PDT  The Nigerian Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, put the death toll from the collapse at 86. The South African minister also said that 26 injured South Africans were meant to return back home today but one of them decided to stay back at the Synagogue church. A 19-member medical team including specialist doctors, nurses and medical military paramedics took care of the injured on board the military C-130 aircraft. Among those transported today included two orphaned toddlers whose parents died in the tragedy. |

She said her main reason for getting a third breast was because she didn't want to appear attractive to men. "I got the surgery because I wanted to turn off guys. I know it sounds crazy but I don't want to date again ever. I still like to feel pretty. If I got a third breast implant most guys would think that's weird and gross. But I can still feel pretty. I'm starting a reality show called Jasmine's Jugs and my ultimate goal is to get it onto MTV. That's my dream."she wrote on FB  "I called 50 doctors. It was really hard finding someone that would do it too because they're breaking the code of ethics." she saidShe claims her third breast was made using an implant and skin tissue cut from her abdomen. Jnr Pope's wife shares his very dramatic proposal to her Posted: 22 Sep 2014 05:17 AM PDT  "Before that fateful day, Esther & I had been talking & she told me that a girl/fan (Ojeah) was coming from London and she already made arrangements on a hotel where she would stay and that my man would be spending a day or two with her at the hotel. I asked Esther how she got the info, she said my man told her hubby and her hubby told her in confidence...but cz of d likeness she has for me, she wouldn't want me fooled/hurt. I was irked, I was hurt, but I was strong enough not to shed a tear." Continue...  After further inquiries, Esther told me the girl would be coming 21st Sept. 2013 but my man would join her on 22nd (a day after). I was relieved because I had a wedding to attend on the 21st & I was the maid of honour. On the 20th, my man told me he had something to do in Port Harcourt and would be there for two days. That statement confirmed Esther's words. I still couldn't believe it was happening because I trusted him with my life. I told him he could go and that he should drive safely. On that fateful day 22nd Sept. 2013, I went for service, I wasn't comfy...thoughts kept crawling....thoughts like: what could they be doing now? Hugging, kissing, or prolly strafing....(lol)....before the service was over, I left church and headed for PH. You needed to have seen me. I wore a strong tight, a black dress and a flip flop ready to fight. I got to PH, met with Esther & she took me to the supposed hotel. She said she'd wait at the reception while I go knock on room 101. I did and behold this fair girl came, opened the door and said: Yes, who are you? I pushed the door ready to explode only to find four other people in the room including my man, a bed decorated with scented candles & cute roses. It had the inscription: Say yes! Jnr Pope fell on his knees and said: I'm tired of being on the fast lane. I want you to have my last name and he showed me this beautiful ring...awwwww..I wept uncontrollably.....its one year today..  The couple got married in July 2014 |

The stars featured in the Lagos edition of Amstel Malta Showtime concert drama directed by Ice Nweke tagged "The Rush", which was a fusion of various artistic displays by ballerinas, singers, actors, fire eaters, jugglers, dancers, rappers, instrumentalists, comedians e.t.c put together to tell the story of a young man's journey to success in a brilliant theatrical piece.  Also performing with these stars were 5 young talents selected via auditions: Singing duo (male and female); Instrumentalist duo (a violinist and a guitarist), a dance team of four, a comedian and a rapper. | Cameroon military is claiming they killed BH leader Shekau, shares pic Posted: 22 Sep 2014 03:22 AM PDT  In a rare public show by the Cameroon army, photos of the Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau were made public alongside a statement claiming he was killed during a cross border raid deep inside Nigeria by the Cameroon military. A Cameroon military source who spoke to Cameroon Concord late last night, revealed that Abubakar Shekau was killed following an aerial bombardment of his hideout inside Nigeria. The Cameroon army has ever since yesterday been in serious combat against thousands of Boko Haram fighters trying to enter Cameroon via Fotokol from Gambaral Ngala in Nigeria.Is that the same man though? |

He also said that President Jonathan is yet to respond to the decision the party members took on Thursday September 18th where he was adopted as the sole Presidential candidate of the PDP "The President is yet to communicate to the party or to the entire country because he is not only the President of the PDP, he is the President of Nigeria and I cannot inform you of decisions that have been taken in terms of what will happen because subjective opinions is not part of my job. I believed a lot of people are trying to speculate on Jonathan/Sambo ticket but why don't we wait until when the President declares? |
