Photos: Tyga And Kylie Jenner go on vacation to France, where the legal age is 15

Posted: 19 Oct 2014 11:59 AM PDT

I still find it hard to believe that this 17 year old girl is interested in 25 year old rapper, Tyga...but apparently she is. According to an exclusive report by Mediatakeout.com, the two of them traveled to France together where the legal age of consent is 15. Meaning if they decided to have sex in France.. no one will come after Tyga, unlike in the US where it will be a crime. Find MTO's report below...
Underage reality star Kylie Jenner and her new boyfriend Tyga were spotted jetting out of town . . . to France. There have been all kinds of rumours about the two being engaged in a romance . . . and we've all but confirmed it. But keep in mind, it is illegal for Tyga to have sexual relations with Kylie in the United States.
Well the new couple has a fix for that. . they took a romantic vacation to France (pictured centre) where the legal age of consent is just 15 years old.
Similarly, France has no legal age for drinking . . . so 17 year olds can legally drink in Paris.
Therefore under international law - Tyga is free to do whatever he wants to do with Kylie . . . and ain't a DANG THING that anyone can do about it.

Contestant Turns Deaf & Dumb on Gulder Ultimate Search XI

Posted: 19 Oct 2014 11:33 AM PDT

Ikenna Emedike fondly called Ikenna E became the first warrior to bear the stump of shame in Gulder Ultimate Search XI for disobedience. According to rules, the Stump of Shame should always be dragged around by the contestant serving punishment. In addition, the victim must not speak with anyone or being spoken to by anybody.

Ikenna .E who was the leader suffered this consequence for moving himself and other contestants to another tent aside the ones being designated by the council of elders.

His excuse was because soldier 'ants' invaded the initial tents.

In the words of the anchor man 'Chidi Mokeme' who was displeased at his action, he said:

'So every time solider ants come around, you move and leave your properties for soldier ants. You cannot take care of soldier ants in the jungle? The council of elders will not tolerate disobedience'

Ikenna .E had to carry the stump of shame. As the bearer he becomes an outcast in the camp till the next challenge.

Ikenna E delayed proceedings at the Task Area & Place of The Talking Drum as he had great difficulty dragging his Stump of Shame.

A night before, Nwagboso Joshua was evicted from the show for not been able to succeed in the extremely difficult task Heart of the Hunter.

Ebola: Liberia's President writes moving letter to the world

Posted: 19 Oct 2014 06:08 AM PDT

Liberia's President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has written a heartfelt letter to the world over the Ebola crisis that hit her country. In the letter which was read over the radio and transmitted worldwide, she likened the Ebola epidermic to the civil war her country faced 11 years ago which killed a lot of Liberians, crumbled their economy and vital institutions.

The president called on the international community to stop all theoretical explanations on the Ebola crisis and act fast to stop the spread of the deadly virus. Find her letter after the cut...

Dear World
In just over six months, Ebola has managed to bring my country to a standstill. We have lost over 2,000 Liberians. Some are children struck down in the prime of their youth. Some were fathers, mothers, brothers or best friends. Many were brave health workers that risked their lives to save others, or simply offer victims comfort in their final moments.
There is no coincidence Ebola has taken hold in three fragile states – Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea - all battling to overcome the effects of interconnected wars. In Liberia, our civil war ended only eleven years ago. It destroyed our public infrastructure, crushed our economy and led to an exodus of educated professionals. A country that had some 3,000 qualified doctors at the start of the war was dependent by its end on barely three dozen. In the last few years, Liberia was bouncing back. We realized there was a long way to go, but the future was looking bright.
Now Ebola threatens to erase that hard work. Our economy was set to be larger and stronger this year, offering more jobs to Liberians and raising living standards. Ebola is not just a health crisis – across West Africa, a generation of young people risk being lost to an economic catastrophe as harvests are missed, markets are shut and borders are closed.
The virus has been able to spread so rapidly because of the insufficient strength of the emergency, medical and military services that remain under-resourced and without the preparedness to confront such a challenge. This would have been the case whether the confrontation was with Ebola, another infectious disease, or a natural disaster.
But one thing is clear. This is a fight in which the whole world has a stake. This disease respects no borders. The damage it is causing in West Africa, whether in public health, the economy or within communities – is already reverberating throughout the region and across the world.
The international reaction to this crisis was initially inconsistent and lacking in clear direction or urgency. Now finally, the world has woken up. The community of nations has realized they cannot simply pull up the drawbridge and wish this situation away.
This fight requires a commitment from every nation that has the capacity to help – whether that is with emergency funds, medical supplies or clinical expertise.
I have every faith in our resilience as Liberians, and our capacity as global citizens, to face down this disease, beat it and rebuild. History has shown that when a people are at their darkest hour, humanity has an enviable ability to act with bravery, compassion and selflessness for the benefit of those most in need.
From governments to international organisations, financial institutions to NGOs, politicians to ordinary people on the street in any corner of the world, we all have a stake in the battle against Ebola. It is the duty of all of us, as global citizens, to send a message that we will not leave millions of West Africans to fend for themselves against an enemy that they do not know, and against whom they have little defence.
The time for talking or theorizing is over. Only concerted action will save my country, and our neighbours, from experiencing another national tragedy. The words of Henrik Ibsen have never been truer: "A thousand words leave not the same deep impression as does a single deed.
Yours sincerely,
Ellen Johnson Sirleaf

MTN iPulse to allow students gain access to more academic resources & social networking apps

Posted: 19 Oct 2014 06:01 AM PDT

The Chief Marketing Officer, MTN Nigeria, Bayo Adekanmbi, has described the recent slash in data and call rates of the re-launched iPulse, as a move to allow students in all tertiary institutions gain access to sufficient academic resources while expanding their social connections.

In a statement made available to the press, the marketing chief stated that, "It is imperative that Nigerian students receive all support necessary for academic excellence and social relevance".

"This is why we introduced special rates on the MTN iPulse for students in all campuses", he added.
According to him, the special rate is at 11kobo per second to all networks, N2 per SMS and free access to mAcademy, in addition to free 40 megabytes, every month, and unlimited access to social networking apps including Facebook.

In essence, Bayo Adekanmbi, reiterated that the special rate and freebies are applicable to all universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education, Police academies and more.

The MTN iPulse offering was introduced three years ago to facilitate seamless connectivity among the youth community. It has now been repackaged to meet current trends, especially the demand for easy-on-the-pocket data connectivity to surf the internet and keep pace with global advancement in technology and maintain relevance on the social media.

To make it easier for the students, the subscription code still remains the same. MTN customers simply need to dial *406# to migrate to MTN iPulse.

Photo/Video: T.B. Joshua carrying three bags of rice

Posted: 19 Oct 2014 04:38 AM PDT

Article once again written by freelance journalist, Iheuchukwu Njoku...
A picture of controversial Pastor T.B. Joshua carrying three bags of rice went viral this week within Nigerian social media and blogs. While most commended Joshua for his humility and humanity, there were suggestions that the picture was 'photo-shopped'. Others insinuated the image was nothing but a tasteless publicity stunt in the light of the recent tragedy that befell The SCOAN where over 100 died in a building collapse.
As a viewer of Emmanuel TV, I have actually seen the video clip of this particular humanitarian mission previously and managed to find the footage on YouTube.  For clarification, this did not take place after the tragedy last month, putting to rest the allegation that this was an ill-timed publicity feat. So, for all the doubters and skeptics, here is video evidence of Pastor T.B. Joshua carrying three bags of rice in one of his numerous philanthropic visits to less-privileged areas.

Pastor Adeboye talks about the time a WAEC official tried to seduce him

Posted: 19 Oct 2014 03:31 AM PDT

Speaking at the church recent convention, RCCG General Overseer, pastor E.A Adeboye revealed to his congregation a time when a female executive at the West African Examinations Council, WAEC, stalked him, followed him all the way to London where she tried to seduce him. He said;
"She said that God told her that I will be her husband. I rebuked and informed her that I am a happily married man with children. Undeterred even by the intervention of her husband and the Inspector General of Police (at that time), she stalked me to London. My threat to report her to London Police (when she phoned me) stopped her physical presence but she never stopped calling me." Continue...
Pastor Adeboye shared the story to explain to the congregation the different kinds of temptation one can face,  physical, material and spiritual and that he was not left out. He said you can triumph over any difficulties by calling on the holy spirit
"Holy Spirit is the only yoke destroyer. There are certain forces or challenges of life that human beings cannot solve by their own efforts except through the help of the Holy Spirit."

Dear LIB readers: My man wants me to invite another woman into our bed

Posted: 19 Oct 2014 03:13 AM PDT

From a female LIB reader
I've been married for just two years with a 17 months old baby. My husband has been pressuring me to invite another woman into our bedroom for a threesome to spice up our sex life. Unfortunately we have two married friends who do this and he now wants us to include that element in our marriage. I am curious about it after hearing of it from our friends who indulge in it but I'm not comfortable with going along with it.
When I asked one of the women why she agreed to it, she said she would rather have her man cheat in front of her than behind her back like most husbands do. I don't want him to cheat on me at all but he keeps insisting on this and I don't know how to talk him out of it. Should I agree? I don't want him cheating on me. Please help!

Despite ceasefire agreement, Boko Haram attack villages in Borno, kill 9

Posted: 19 Oct 2014 02:40 AM PDT

Despite the ceasefire agreement reached between Boko Haram men and the Nigerian government on Friday October 17th, members of sect same evening and in the early hours of Saturday October 18th launched fresh attacks on Abadam and Dzur villages in Borno state killing at least 9 people including the father of the former Borno state House of Assembly, Goni Ali-Modu.

According to reports, the people killed in the fresh attacks were residents of the villages who were jubilating over the announced ceasefire agreement.
"The people (killed) were celebrating the ceasefire before Boko Haram came to attack them. There isn't much details but I think you can contact the authorities for details"
Meanwhile there are reports that the sect is in the process of selecting a new leader after the death of the Abubakr Shekau impostor in Konduga. According to a member of the states civilian JTF who spoke with Tribune, he said the sect is not really ready for a ceasefire and that the people who are posing as leaders of the sect holding meetings with the federal government are mere politicians who are out to deceive the government.
"The sect is only trying to buy more time to enable them to regroup and announce Mamman Nur as their leader. Should that happen, we are far away from any peace deal as his name rings a bell in terrorism circles in Borno to Sudan and other places across Africa" he said
