Quilox nightclub addresses MI's tweets

Earlier today, MI took to twitter to write that he was disrespected at Quilox nightclub (see that here). The management of the club have now released a statement explaining their side of the story. Find their press statement below...
The recent tweets by Rapper MI has come to our attention and we found it necessary to address the issue. Quilox had a contract with Live&Unplugged on February 28th between 10pm-12am. Live&Unplugged contracted M.I as their artist for the night. 
At 12am on the said day, M.I was still performing and majority of our customers were complaining and demanding the DJ as we had other events planned for the night. In the process, some customers left. 

However, the management honoured M.I's presence by giving him an additional 30mins and informed his management that he would need to stop at exactly 12.30am. At 12.34am, he was still playing. 

Our management at this point was forced to take a decision at 12.45am and let the DJ start his set for the night. The 1st song he played was M.I - Bad Belle to show no disrespect. 

Again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Quilox however is a business that adheres to it's agreed terms of contract and respects professionalism. 

We accord all clients and customers due respect irrespective of class or status. In order to resolve issues quickly we have a standard complaints procedure which involves contacting management directly or via email. 

As we look forward to continue to render the best of services, we hope to avoid scenarios like this one, but in case any complaints are to be made, kindly direct them to info@clubquilox.com. We'll be sure to respond promptly.

So, recently APC VP candidate Prof Osinbajo took the media back to his childhood village and home in Ogun state where the photo above was captured by an APC cameraman. The man in the photo was initially said to be Osinbajo's father (see the resemblance) but APC says that is his brother not father.

So here's why this photo is controversial. Them PDP people are trying to use the pic to their benefit. They are saying whether brother or father, why is he living in such a condition? Below is what they posted on a Pro-Jonathan Facebook page, Hope for Nigeria;
"What is the difference between someone's father and his brother, that Yemi Osibanjo will neglect them, even when he has been blessed by God as a Pastor, senior partner at SimmonsCooper Partners, a Professor, 8 years as Tinubu's Attorney General, director in Bola Tinubu's Alpha Beta Limited. How can you manage a country, when you can't take care of your relatives?"
Some folks are saying the guy is not even related to Osinbajo. That it's just a propaganda pic...lol

One of the girls from popular 90s group, Brownstone, has died

Remember popular 90's song 'If You Love Me..Say It? Well, Charmayne "Maxee" Maxwell, was one of the members of that popular R&B group called Brownstone. She died yesterday Feb. 28th. No word yet on what led to her death but some urban sites are reporting suicide. She was in her 40s. May her soul rest in peace, amen.

Patience Jonathan hosted some entertainers in Abuja yesterday Feb. 28th. Duncan Mighty, Kcee, Eucharia Anunobi, Omoni Oboli, Ini Edo, Onyeka Onwenu, Yinka Davies, Bovi, Seyi Law, Ejike Asiegbu, Larry Koldsweat, Bob Manuel Odokwu, Timi Dakolo and many others were at the event.

Pics: Troops on patrol encounter terrorists, kill them, recover arms

Troops on cordon and search along Djimitillo Damaturu road axis on Friday night discovered a Boko Haram hideout near a market. The troops battled with the militants, killing a few of them and recovering machine guns and rifles. Some of the terrorists also died in the fire that gutted the house where they were hiding out at. Unfortunately, a soldier was killed and another one wounded.


In Gulak, Adamawa State, troops in pursuit of terrorists caught up with some of them who were in the process of blowing up a bridge to deter troops advance. The troops are continuing with the cordon and search of the town and environs after overpowering the terrorists. A lot of arms have been recovered. Troops are also dismantling the terrorists group's flags hoisted in the towns.

Nigerians must save Buhari from APC cabal/Tinubu - Ayo Fayose

Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose has called on Nigerians, especially Northern leaders to save the All Progressives Congress (APC) , Major General Mohammadu Buhari (rtd) from former Lagos State governor, Senator Bola Tinubu and his cabal in the APC.


The governor, who said he was worried that Tinubu and his cabal were pushing Buhari too much because of their selfish interests,  pleaded that; "Nigerians should appeal to Tinubu and his cabal to allow Buhari attend properly to his health."

Speaking through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, the governor said; "since last week Thursday, that Buhari appeared for less than two hours at the Chatham House where he said his doctors certified him fit and that he was returning to Nigeria for the 'final onslaught on the PDP,' he has simply disappeared from public glare."

He queried; "Isn't it strange that someone who is contesting an election in 28 days time could afford to stay outside the country for going to two weeks?

"Buhari confessed that he actually saw his doctors, why did the APC cabal lie that he never visited any hospital, even going to the ridiculous and criminal level of using pictures taken in Abuja to authenticate claim that Buhari had a television interview in London?

"Like I have maintained, the same cabal that were involved in the Yar'Adua saga are also involved in the packaging of Buhari and Nigerians must save the man from these people, who are only interested in using him to assume power."

Speaking with icampusng.com, the actor said he cheated on the woman when they were dating but never once since they got married. So men - especially the ones in entertainment - can be faithful for 10 years? Excerpts from the interview after the cut...



How do you cope emotionally when you are out of the house for three to four weeks? Do you have to get a woman temporarily or do you hold on till you get home?
No man is an island, and no human is a saint. I want to believe that it is what you want to do that you will do, except somebody holds a gun to your head. I don't want to do something or anything that will bounce back on my family. So automatically, I am very cautious of what I do, where I go, who I mingle with, where you find me. Of course, I have a lot of friends, but at the same time, there should be a guideline.

So does the guideline state that you should not cheat on your wife?
Yes, after marriage.

Do you also believe your wife has not cheated on you?
I believe so.

What do you mean after marriage, do you mean you cheated on her during engagement and courtship?

After marriage that's all.

According to a report by Hollywoodlife, Tyga is facing immense pressure to distance himself from Kylie Jenner until she turns 18 in August. The pressure is supposedly coming from his management..
"His management team has tol him to distance himself from the reality star, with whom he has become famously close in recent months. Too close if you ask a lot of people and possibly the law." Hollywood Life reports

Our attention has been drawn to a statement credited to the Director of Media of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organisation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode on the All Progressives Congress and its leaders.
Fani-Kayode alleges that Asiwaju Tinubu would become president by asking the Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo to resign after six months in office in the belief that the. President Muhammadu Buhari may have terminal health challenges.
That the message came through Mr. Femi Fani- Kayode who, just a few days ago, was brought to answer corruption charges, makes the message incredulous. The whole world knows the other reasons for the incredulity of any message delivered through him.

However, to the uninformed, there is no iota of truth in such allegation. It is the product of infantile, wild imagination of a convoluted, distorted and warped mind

In the APC, we do not indulge in oath-taking, pact-signing and such other rituals that the PDP establishment is adept at. Such PDP- induced Okija scenarios have no place in the APC.

Professor Yemi Osinbajo is a thorough- bred, accomplished professor, teacher, pastor, mentor and preacher who is nationally and internationally acknowledged as a man of probity, integrity, transparency and competence who can never be part of such inanities.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his part, is the foremost national leader of the APC who has achieved an enviable, political status, fame and stature. He has gone far beyond using subterfuge to attain any political position.

It is widely known, globally, that he has been pivotal in midwifing the most potent and formidable opposition movement that has become the nightmare of the incompetent behemoth called the PDP, and to the delight of Nigerians, the desired change they are waiting for.

Having lost substantial ground politically and seeing the inevitability of an APC victory at the polls, it is the. PDP that is strenuously engaging in all kinds of subterfuge from hurling personal abuses and attacks on Buhari and Tinubu; to election postponement antics; to evading elections at all costs and even the unfashionable idea of foisting an interim government. It is the. PDP that is generating crisis in order to make the elections difficult if not impossible. Unknown to its campaign machinery, these gimmicks potray the PDP as deep in conclusive disarray.

Indeed, the fact that the PDP campaign machinery can construct a post- presidential election scenario in which APC would be in power is a significant testimony of their admission that they have lost this election. We note this mental and psychological concession of victory to our party's presidential candidate but reject the odious scenario.

Nigerians should please ignore this latest antic because it is untrue,ridiculous, ludicrous, mundane and jejune.
