When your replacement is closer than you think - ft Jamie Foxx & Katie Holmes

Posted: 18 Mar 2015 12:48 PM PDT

Us Weekly has released an exclusive pic showing actress Katie Holmes and actor/singer Jamie Foxx holding holds. There have been rumours for years that the two were seeing each other, which they have never confirmed or denied. It may not look like a big deal but the thing is, Jamie and Katie's ex-husband Tom Cruise used to be friends. And according to TMZ, Katie and Tom don't even talk to one another now, only through third parties. Read that after the cut...

From TMZ

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes want nothing to do with each other ... to the point they don't speak to one another, even about Suri.

Sources close to both Tom and Katie tell us they do not communicate at all. There are no direct co-parenting discussions. Everything regarding Suri -- visitation, child-rearing, etc. -- is handled through intermediaries.

Our sources say there are bad feelings on both sides, and no desire on either Tom or Katie's part to mend fences.

As for Suri ... sources close to Tom say he's still involved in his daughter's life, although he hasn't seen her in months because he's been in London shooting "Mission Impossible 5." Production wrapped last Thursday and our Tom sources say he's coming back to L.A. and will see Suri when he returns.

On the Katie side we're told she's dissatisfied with Tom's involvement in their daughter's life ... that it hasn't been enough.

And there's this ... we've been told there is some sort of relationship between Katie and Jamie Foxx. Our Tom sources wouldn't comment on the relationship, but say Tom has been concerned in the past with other boyfriends because of a possible negative influence on Suri.

Posted: 18 Mar 2015 10:56 AM PDT

A few days ago, photos of Miley Cyrus' boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger huggin on and flirting with a girl in Mexico hit the net (right). Patrick later claimed the girl was his best friend's girlfriend, a claim no one believed. Anyway, fast forward to today and it looks like Miley knows the girl. Her name is Natalie and that's her pictured standing behind Miley. The girls hung out at the USC football game in November last year and that was where she met Patrick.

Miley isn't okay with the photos but hasn't said anything about it publicly yet.

Single woman replies married woman's letter to single girls

Posted: 18 Mar 2015 10:04 AM PDT

Yesterday, a married woman wrote an open letter to single girls wondering why some girls have refused to leave married men alone. (read here) Well, here's a reply by a single girl. Read below...
Dear Married Women,
Abeg, go and sit down, it is also a common expression of bewilderment like when we know a man of God is a flirt outside church (Lord have mercy), go and sit down because Mr. john is begging Rita to have a baby for him and send her abroad, go and sit down because we are fatigued by speechless seeing that when we say the Lord's prayer for ourselves, we should replace temptations with evil married men (your husband), hence on these counts, I greet you too.
Curiosity has always made me wonder why married men cheat, leave you at home and would not let we single ladies be and allow our fellow single guys have a good chance with us. Throwing gifts, money and vacation at us without asking or without agreeing to their request yet, who doesn't like good things?

To think one can live a free life being an independent pretty lady has been robbed off us, yes ladies that pays their bills with their earning without your husband's money do exist (Shout out to my fellow independent ladies out there) but if your husband decides to take it upon themselves to help pay our bills, who are we to say no, it's their choice and why should we reject an harmless offer, it ease our responsibilities. In case you don't know, they beg for our attention, affection and shower us with gifts and vacations we don't ever ask for.

You think we like older men, for your mind, you think we like we way your husband look at us lustfully because we've been blessed with a beautiful figure eight shape, you think we like the way you husband look at our boobs while they talk to us and the way they look at our butt while we walk away and can't report them or do anything about it because they are our boss, you think we like them bombarding us with calls and attention, you think we like the fact that they only last 2minutes in bed and not more than one round (boring)?

Yes they're matured, they offer to pay our bills (we don't ask them to), they offer us vacation abroad just to spend time with us (most of us haven't been outside Nigeria before), some even go as pleading that we get pregnant for them, send us abroad and continue our life there, please who doesn't like good things especially when they are free?

Only the childish ones say bad things about their wife, they say good things about you and how they also respect you. We are more than aspirin to your husband, we help keep your husband sane and also make them insane when we want to, and we always have them in our palms.

We are not putting asunder to anything or helping to defy his vows, your husband can't see a hot pretty independent lady as a friend, secretary, colleague and look away, it turns them on and it's never our fault they get turned on even without being touched, some of us ladies are wonderfully made with hot bodies.

Single ladies are getting vicious, remember Mr. Efe sent his wife packing, Mr. Femi comes home once a month and Mr. Remi has not been himself lately, so be warned.

They cry like babies when we tell them we are no longer interested, they beg us with everything when we are angry with them and throw tantrum at you at home, they are our babies.

If you want peace, talk to your husband not us and tell them to leave the single ladies alone.

Karrueche Tran reportedly blasts the heck out of Chris Brown during interview with Iyanla

Posted: 18 Mar 2015 09:57 AM PDT

Looks like Karrueche is really done with Chris Brown because she's now giving interviews to talk about their time together. Karrueche sat down with Iyanla Vanzant this past weekend and according to MTO, the interview was all about blasting and disrespecting Chris Brown. Read report below...
One of the show's producers reached out to MediaTakeOut.com to say the following, "Karrueche was trying to make herself into some kind of victim, but Iyanla saw through her bullsh*t - she was like didn't you know Chris was a cheater? Wasn't he cheating on you with Rihanna?" The snitch continued, "Karrueche's manager, that big fat guy [Jacob York], didn't like how things were going and they asked to stop filming.
After everyone calmed down a bit - Karrueche and her "big fat guy" manager agreed to continue taping.the show - and she and Iyanla went on a Chris Brown dragging session.
The two brought up the RIHANNA BEATING incident, Chris Brown's alleged VIOLENT BEHAVIOR - and made him out to look like a gang member. The producer explained, "It was some real SLANDER of Chris Brown, and it was not necessary. Chris was NEVER violent with that girl . . . all he did was sleep around, but she knew what he signed up for. MTO it was sickening - they talked more about RIHANNA in that interview than they did about Chris baby, which is the REAL reason they supposedly broke up."
The tipster ended with this - "MTO I want you to put that [Karrueche] girl on BLAST for being a manipulative liar. I'm a Chris Brown fan, and it was hard to watch that interview without jumping up and strangling that b*tch."
It's going to get CRAZY . . . cause when Chris Brown SEES THAT F*CKERY . . . . he's going to REALLY BLACK OUT!!!

Daily Times threatens to sue Premium Times over use of 'Times' in its brand name

Posted: 18 Mar 2015 09:21 AM PDT

The management of Folio Communications Limited, owners of Daily Times of Nigeria Plc, have threatened to drag online news portal, Premium Times to court over the use of the word 'Times' in its brand name. According to a letter sent to Premium Times management, the solicitors to Folio Communications Limited, Elias Mordi & Co, cautioned Premium Times to desist from using the word 'Times', adding that Daily Times has since inception enjoyed goodwill from people who have come to know it with the word 'Times.

The lawyers said the continued use of the word by Premium Times would amount to them enjoying their clients goodwill which they took years to build...

The letter in part reads
"Our client is the publisher of the Daily Times, Weekend Times, Sunday Times and Business Times amongst other newspapers and special publication. In Nigeria, the word 'Times' when associated with any newspaper publication has come to have a secondary meaning as denoting our client's publication by the reading public, and that is the extent of the goodwill our client enjoys in the word 'Times' as a matter of trade name. Your publication, 'PREMIUM TIMES' has a tendency of appropriating our client's extant goodwill as already explained above and constitute actionable passing off. We, therefore, demand that you forthwith cease and desist from using the 'TIMES' in your future publications.".
The letter stated that failure to adhere to this directive would make Fodio communications institute legal process to sue Premium Times.

The Managing Editor of Premium Times, Mojid Musiliku however says they are seeking the legal advice of their team in order to know the next line of action.

Kim Kardashian's doctor warns her she's having too much sex

When some of us aren't having any sex at all, Kim Kardashian is having too much of it. Lucky woman...lol. The reality star said she'd been warned by her doctor to cut down on how much sex she's having. She claimed in a bid to get pregnant, she and Kanye have been having sex up to 15 times a day. I die! Which man can go 15 times a day? If I hear...
"I've done everything so perfect to try and get pregnant. There's a list of things you shouldn't be doing and I was perfect for eight to 10 months and now I don't understand.
"I'm going to do everything that I want to do and that includes going platinum. Hopefully I will get pregnant doing all the wrong things. I'm totally changing my tactics. I'm over it. I'm over trying, overthinking it, hence why I dyed my hair blonde.'

It is wrong for the President to be summoning Jega at will - APC

Posted: 18 Mar 2015 07:37 AM PDT

Press statement from the APC below...

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said the President's decision to summon INEC Chairman Attahiru Jega to a meeting that was not attended by other political parties in Abuja on Tuesday is part of ongoing moves to compromise the integrity of the electoral commission, which is expected to be fair and neutral.
In a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said it is wrong for the President, who himself is a candidate in the forthcoming elections, to be summoning the electoral umpire at will, especially when such meetings are populated by his appointees.
''Without the representatives of other political parties attending such meetings, irrespective of whether or not it is aimed at briefing security chiefs on the preparations for the polls, the ruling PDP and its presidential candidate are seeking to gain undue advantage over others ahead of the elections.
"'It is like the referee in a football match meeting with key officials of one of the teams ahead of the match. This is against the spirit of transparency and fairness and must stop forthwith. ''Had the representatives of other political parties apart from the PDP (the President is the leader of the PDP) attended the meeting, the widespread speculations that Jega's life and job were threatened if he fails to drop the use of the card reader, as well as circulating reports that he will be removed before Saturday, would not have happened,'' it said. APC said whatever briefings must be given by the INEC chairman on the elections must have in attendance the representatives of all the political parties that will participate in the elections.
It also decried clandestine meetings between some key presidency and INEC officials with a view to rigging the elections, warning the presidency to steer clear of the electoral officials if indeed they are desirous of a free, fair, credible and peaceful elections. Meanwhile, the party has said the Presidency and the PDP cannot and must not be allowed to profit from their sponsorship of ethnic militias, including MASSOB and OPC, to create chaos and violence before, during and after the elections. It said the plot by the duo is to make the country so unsafe before the polls that members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), who are supposed to serve as electoral officials, will simply say they can no longer participate in the elections because they fear for their lives.
"This will simply truncate the elections and trigger a constitutional crisis, the exact scenario being plotted by the Jonathan Administration and the PDP to allow them to either perpetuate themselves in office or install an interim government,'' APC said. It said another booby trap on the path of holding the elections as rescheduled are the pending court cases against the use of the card reader by INEC. ''Nigerians should note that nothing is yet guaranteed as far as the holding of the rescheduled elections is concerned.
The Jonathan Administration and the PDP are still shopping for a court judgement to declare the use of the card reader unconstitutional, just because they are now painfully aware that Nigerians have rejected them and their party.. ''We are therefore calling on all our compatriots to be more vigilant in the next few days to the elections. We are also alerting local and foreign observers, and the international community, to the ongoing shenanigans by the Jonathan Administration and the PDP to scuttle the polls,'' APC said

"They say knowledge is power – If that be the case we at SEM believe TAER has a very significant role to play – for the last 2 years we've been championing the agenda of African owned creative businesses in the UK fully getting to grips with understanding the business they are in, their position within the African & Western markets as well as their potential bargaining power. In return we have had a lot of interest & support from the emerging African scene & mainstream industry!
Working with UKTI-Nigeria to bringing TAER home to Lagos could not happen at a better time & we both share a common goal – Improving bilateral trade between Nigerian & UK creative businesses whilst empowering the current & next generation of creative business professionals. Its time to be in the business of creativity as oppose to just being creative's. We're real excited about this trip & can't wait to meet the industry building new relationships".

Liberated villages still not safe as Boko Haram members exist there - Gov Shettima

Posted: 18 Mar 2015 06:27 AM PDT

The Governor of Borno state Kashim Shettima says the towns and villages liberated by the Nigerian military is still not safe and habitable as there are still pockets of Boko Haram members in some of the villagers. The Governor said this in a statement released today where he spoke against the immediate return of villagers living in various IDPs back to their villages for election.

He said that would expose the villagers to another attack which would mean sacrificing them on the altar of politics. Excerpts of the statement signed by his spokesperson, Isa Gusau after the cut...

"I am absolutely in support of elections holding in local government areas after all, I was elected with popular mandate in 2011 with elections taking place across in all local governments of the state and having to win more than two-third of the 27 local government areas of Borno State. One who has won elections and has kept fate with his people and is doing his best to meet his obligations has no reason to fear elections.
The voters are the same whether they vote in local government areas or anywhere else. However, I think it will be irresponsible on our part as a government to hurry our citizens back to liberated communities now mainly to go and vote because that will be very callous. We have pockets of insurgents in some villages, we have had attacks that are very recent on some routes, we all know that these liberated communities are still not fully safe and habitable.
The military has recaptured lost territories but we have one or two to go. Then, some insurgents fled to villages and they are still posing problems, how safe will our people be if we force them back today? How safe will it be to send people to Gamboru, Baga, Monguno, Malamfatori, Kala-Balge, Mafa and other places. What about the issue of landmines possibly planted there that everyone knows the military has been contending with? All those politicians that stay in Abuja and cause all manner of confusion for Borno, if they are so certain that liberated communities are now safe, let them go and live in Gamboru like ordinary people.
Why have they moved their entire families including their cats out of Maiduguri that is relatively safe not to talk of the local government areas? Why do they want our citizens to go to liberated communities and put their lives at risk knowing fully well that there is so much to be done. Apart from the issue of safety, there are decomposed bodies, we need to do so much fumigation and environmental cleansing, we need to rebuild homes destroyed, markets, schools, hospitals, many have been destroyed, we need to fix things because our citizens are human beings and they deserve to be treated as such.
Why should we push our citizens to live where we can't send our wives and children to live? We are concerned about our people, we cannot allow them take unnecessary risks. We are confident all will be well eventually insha Allah but we need some careful planning. We want to set up a Task Force on Evaluation, Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Re-integration of Victims of the insurgency and the task force will have representatives of all stakeholders.
It will be a multi-faith and multi-ethnic based so that every segment of the affected population is covered be it citizens, associations, government or institutions from security to all others. We have a serious work before us, it is not child's play that some people are advocating for mainly for their selfish and dehumanizing interests. We must learn to put politics aside where the existence of our citizens are involved. Power should not be our only concern at all points. There is more to life than desperation to access power."

Karrueche kicks Oprah's people out of her home after interviewer asks her if she slept with Chris Brown because he's a star

Posted: 18 Mar 2015 06:20 AM PDT

Iyanla Vanzant, the former relationship expert for The Oprah Show, who now has her show called 'Fix My Life' on Oprah Winfrey's OWN Network was kicked out of Karrueche Tran's home after she asked him if she dated Chris Brown because he was a superstar. (The TV show went to interview Karrueche following reports Chris fathered a child while dating her). TMZ reports below...
Karrueche Tran kicked the OWN Network out of her home ... because she felt the interviewer was passing judgment on her for her relationship with Chris Brown.
We're told Tran sat down at her house with Iyanla Vanzant for the interview. Tran says producers promised it would be "positive." But things went south when Tran was asked about her relationship with Brown.
Vanzant asked if she slept with Chris from the get-go because he was a superstar. When she explained they didn't sleep together until months after they met, she claims the interviewer didn't believe her and kept pressing.
Vanzant also grilled Karrueche about her decision to date Chris in the wake of beating Rihanna. She responded that everyone deserved a second chance. The interviewer then challenged Karrueche, saying Chris had cheated on her but she still took him back.
At that point ... Karrueche's manager kicked Vanzant and the OWN crew out of her house.
A couple of hours passed, everyone calmed down and the OWN people were invited back in to complete the chitchat.
The special will air on OWN later this month
In the sneak peak posted on Facebook, Ivanla asks;

He betrayed you
He lied to you
He did it all publicly
How did you find out that he had a baby by another woman?
Have you spoken to him
And finally: What I want people to know about Chris Brown is ________?
