Pics: Couple busted having sex inside '50 Shades' themed event in Vegas Posted: 04 Mar 2015 09:25 AM PST Read the funny TMZ story of a couple caught having sex at an erotic museum in Las Vegas... There's a couple of banging bandits on the loose in Vegas - after they got busted celebrating "Fifty Shades of Grey" all over a Sin City museum ... which may seem appropriate, but it's still illegal. TMZ obtained surveillance video of their bare-assed exploits around the Erotic Heritage Museum -- which was featuring an homage to kink on Valentine's Day ... and after-hours the couple went on a room-by-room sex spree. First, they found a hiding spot and waited for the museum staff to clear out ... and the house lights to go down. Then the banging began in earnest. The couple didn't hold back as they moved around -- but they didn't realize security was watching. Dr. Victoria, who heads up the museum, tells us security alerted staff members who returned to bust the exhibitionists. You gotta see their half-naked getaway once they realized the jig was up. Watch ... who knew coitus interruptus could be funny? |
INEC may reprint ballot papers Posted: 04 Mar 2015 09:04 AM PST There are reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) may have to reprint ballot papers for the forthcoming elections to accommodate a political party which was not listed among duly registered parties by the commission, National Mirror reports. This follows the ruling of a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja which ordered INEC to include the Young Democratic Party (YDP) among duly registered political parties. Justice Ahmed Mohammed made the order in his judgment on the suit filed by the party, challenging its denial of registration by INEC. Justice Mohammed said that The Young Democratic Party (YDP) was believed registered when INEC failed to inform the then political association of its decision not to register it as a political party within 30 days of receiving its application, as required under Section 78 (4) of the Electoral Act, 2010. INEC was said to have received the association's application on April 1, 2014 but only notified the applicant of its decision not to register it on September 15, 2014. (National Mirror) |
Jega Will Go, Heavens Won't Fall - Ayo Fayose Posted: 04 Mar 2015 08:50 AM PST Press statement from Ekiti state ... Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has described outbursts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) over the possible removal of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Prof Attahiru Jega as "mere comedy," saying; "President Goodluck Jonathan can sack Jega if he wishes and if he does, heavens will not fall." The governor, who said the APC should stop acting as if Nigeria belongs to the party, added that; "by turning themselves to advocates and defenders of the INEC chairman, the APC and its agents have shown that they have a deal with Jega to manipulate the elections and that the deal will be frustrated if he is asked to leave office." Governor Fayose said in a release issued on Wednesday, and signed by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, that "removal of Jega and any other appointees of the Federal Government is a prerogative of the president, which no one can question, provided laid down rules are followed." He said the position expressed by the House of Representatives was that of the APC members in the House, urging that "the APC lawmakers should rather pay attention to the ill-health of their party's presidential candidate, Major General Mohammadu Buhari (rtd), whose whereabouts is now a mystery." The governor described Jega as partisan, saying; "By his actions and utterances, Jega had already demonstrated his bias in support of the APC. For instance, how can Jega explain the 80 percent distribution of Permanent Voters Card (PVC) in Boko Haram ravaged Borno and Yobe States while less than 40 percent distributed in Lagos as at February 7 that the election was postponed?" He said; "It is on record that Prof Maurice Iwu was asked to proceed on terminal leave two months to the end of his tenure? Is Jega not a beneficiary of Iwu's removal? So if Iwu was asked to go on terminal leave before the expiration of his tenure for Jega to assume office, what difference does it make if Jega too is asked to proceed on terminal leave before the expiration of his tenure?" Speaking further, Governor Fayose said; "it is the president that can determine whether or not Jega will go on the mandatory three months terminal leave which should commence on March 8, and if the president decides that the INEC chairman should go on terminal leave, what can the APC loudmouths do? "They boasted before the postponement of the elections that they would go on street protests, but did they do anything? They made noise when Justice Isa Ayo Salami was removed from office as president of the Court of Appeal, what did their noise amount to? "Therefore, let me say it categorically that the noise being made by the APC and their agents will amount to nothing because if the president removes Jega today, heavens will not fall." |

N11bn Scam: Ex-Kogi Gov Audu attacks EFCC operative in court Posted: 04 Mar 2015 08:25 AM PST Find the EFCC press statement below... A former governor of Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu, who is being prosecuted at a Federal Capital Territory High Court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, for his alleged involvement in a contract scam to the tune of eleven billion naira, today threw decorum to the dogs when he ordered his security aide (a police officer) to assault an operative of the EFCC, Haruna Ashade, for daring to take his photograph in court. Ashade, a member of the EFCC team assigned to cover the proceedings, was carrying out his lawful duties when Audu's aide descended on him. The sudden realisation that his image might have been captured by the cameraman, incensed Prince Audu. Seething with rage, he demanded for the camera, when Ashade refused to hand the equipment over to the accused person, Prince Audu called on one of his aides, a police inspector, to forcefully collect the camera from Ashade and delete his pictures from it. A scuffle ensured which threw the court into confusion. Audu's aide rained blows on Ashade, in the attempt to snatch the camera from him. It took the personal intervention of Justice Ademola Adeniyi who was about coming out of his chambers to restore order. Justice Adeniyi sent one of his assistants and his orderly to restrain Prince Audu's aide. He was said to have ordered the release of the camera for it to be kept in the custody of the court until after the sitting. Ashade obliged them. However, to the dismay of officials of the EFCC, when the camera was released, all the pictures taken in court had been deleted! When the case was finally called, the prosecuting counsel, Rotimi Jacobs, SAN, pleaded for a short adjournment for reasons of non availability of his witnesses in court. He told the court that, he was at the Court of Appeal till late yesterday, March 3, and was not aware that the bank witnesses to be called are not available. He informed the court that the prosecution will be bringing new witnesses to testify. Responding, counsel to the first accused, Patrick Ikwueto, SAN, said that, if the prosecution has other witnesses not contained in the proof of evidence, there is a need for defendants to be served with their statement. The case has been adjourned to Friday, March 6, 2015 for continuation of trial. Prince Audu is being prosecuted alongside a former Director General of the Directorate of Rural Development in his administration, Alfa Ibn Mustapha, for offences bordering on criminal breach of trust and misappropriation of public funds to the tune of N10,965,837,040 (ten billion, nine hundred and sixty five million, eight hundred and thirty seven thousand and Forty Naira).
