Chelsea football club's highest goalscorer of all time Frank Lampard today got married to his wife Christine Bleakely after a lengthy 5 year relationship in which she has been step mom to the footballer's two children from his ex-wife.

The 36 year old Christine who wed Frank,37, today at St Paul's Church in Knightsbridge looked stunning in a princess style dress, with one of the footballer's daughters, Isla, as a flower girl and many football personalities gracing the event.

Congrats to them!!!

Remember baby Aisha, the baby who got deformed after a Boko haram attack in the North?
Baby Aisha has undergone the first in a series of reconstructive surgeries. The surgery was reportedly performed by plastic surgeon, Ferdinand Ofodile.

VP Osinbajo, his wife, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo are pictured above, alongside others, with the Surgeon, Dr Ofodile, who was flown in from US to perform the surgery on her.

Burnaboy loses an ardent fan, wishes he had done more for her

Burnaboy has lost one of his biggest fans to the cold hands of death. He took to his Instagram to make the announcement and to pay a touching tribute to the young woman named Anita. He wrote:

"I've lost my biggest fan @anita__chekwas and honestly I've seen the worst things there are to see in this world and I've endured the worst type of pains in my lifetime but NEVER in my life have I felt more of a failure than I feel today. This girl has had my back since I started this career and as much as I appreciate her and everyone like her, I have not done a very good job showing it and making them feel the true love I have for them. I had a very terrible experience on Tuesday Dec. 15th. On my way home from work at about 9.30pm, I was standing at the other side of that Cathedral at CMS busstop waiting to cross the road when two guys came on a bike and snatched my hand bag with everything inside. I lost all my identity cards, money, phones, a lot of valuables. But I thank God for my life. People should be careful around there, as those useless boys are looking for innocent people to feed on. This is the injury they inflicted on me, but it's healing.

Air France flight (#AF463) with 459 passengers and 14 crew was forced to land today after a bomb was found in one of the toilets. Here are photos of the device. Meanwhile, the evacuated passengers who are staying at Travelers Hotel, are currently being addressed by Kenyan authorities. 
 
The device has been taken to a safe destination for denotation. Kenyan security service is examining two suspicious passengers on the flight. More photos after the cut...

Nigeria's Mikel Obi alongside retired players Jay Jay Okocha and Kanu Nwankwo are among the top 10 highest earning African players of all time according to a study conducted & published by French publication, Footendirect. With a cumulative take-home of $50 million, John Mikel Obi is now the best paid among the current generation of Nigerian players.

According to Footendirect, Mikel who earns about £75,000 per week at Chelsea has a total earnings estimate of $50m while Kanu Nwankwo and Jay Jay Okocha who have since retired made $100m and $150m respectively from their career. See the full list after the jump.

Yesterday evening, Hon. Hussaini Monguno (pictured left) from Yerwa, Borno State, sent out an SOS to the Nigerian Army on Facebook saying that his house was under attack by unknown gunmen. What he wrote and photos of one of the men arrested after the cut...



"URGENT MESSAGES TO CIVILIAN JTF OR SOLDIERS IN BORNO.
My eight year old daughter just called to inform me that my house in Maiduguri is currently under attack by some unknown armed people in face-mask. Some of my relations and staff injured and bleeding. Kindly assist"

He later confirmed that security men and CJTF came to their aid. One of the armed men was arrested while the rest escaped. Those injured in the attack were taken to the hospital where they are currently receiving treatment.

Kenya releases photos of Al-Shabaab suspects who are planning attacks, issues nationwide alert

A security alert has been issued in Kenya following reports that 11 terrorists (pictured) are planning to carry out attacks in the country during the festive season.
Some of them have been on the police watch list of most wanted terrorists for more than a year but fled to Al-Shabaab camps in Somalia. Intelligence reports label them as "armed and dangerous" and indicate they may have sneaked back into the country.

Large billboards of their photographs have been erected in counties bordering Somalia. Similar billboards were mounted in Nairobi when their identities were first made public. The billboards also display police hotlines 999, 112, 020-2199151 and 0702432877.

     "The public is urged to provide information regarding their whereabouts but are warned that they are armed and dangerous," the police says.

Among the suspects is Abdifatah Abubakar Abdi aka Musa Muhajir, a Somali who lived in Mombasa but was deported. His associates are Abdalla Muumin Abdalla, Suleiman Mohamed Awadh, Abdalla Siraj Marum, Mohamed Ali Ahmed and Hussein Said Omar alias Babli.

The others are Issa Abdalla Ahmed alias Kauni and Abdikadir Abubakar Abdikadir who were reported missing by their families in November last year. They fled their home in Malindi to join Al-Shabaab.

Kauni, 24, who worked as a driver in Malindi attended Malindi Progressive Secondary School and Sir Ali bin Salim Primary School. Abdikadir is the brother of Khadijah Abubakar Abdikadir, one of the three young women charged in court after they were arrested at El-Wak in Mandera while attempting to cross the border to Somalia to join Al-Shabaab in March, this year.

Former footballer Anwar Yogan Mwok, 34, who once played for Mathare United Football club, is also on the list. Together with Omar Patroba Juma alias Patroba Juma Owiti, they have been linked to the botched June attack on the Kenya Defence Forces camp in Baure, Lamu, in which 18 terrorists and three soldiers died. He was born in Siaya and joined Al-Shabaab in 2013.

Omar Patroba, 33 was also born in Siaya and is wanted together with his wife Shamim Wanjiru Hussein. Another suspect, Ismael Mohamed Shosi alias Ismael Mmanga, has been linked to the assassination of Sheikh Mohamed Idriss, a cleric who preached against radicalisation of the youth.

Mmanga normally dons a buibui to hide his identity and is also wanted for the killing of police detective Mohamed Ibrahim, who was shot dead in Mombasa's Old Town on March 25.
