| Photos: 8-year-old girl who lost her entire family just wants cards for Christmas Posted: 09 Dec 2015 12:53 PM PST   In 2013, Safyre Terry lost her father and three siblings in an arson attack. She survived but only because her father shielded her from the fire with his body. She suffered burns on over 75% of her body. She has had multiple operations, over 50. Three months after the fire, she lost her right hand. And in March, she lost her left foot. Safyre still has problems with her mouth due to the scar tissue tightening up  According to Buzzfeed, Safyre is still recovering, but has received the full support of the local community in her hometown of Schenectady, New York. This year her aunt Liz Dolder, who has sole custody of the 8-year-old, bought a tree to hang Christmas cards on. Safyre was excited to fill the tree with cards, but Dolder told her that it was "probably not going to happen"    |

If the need arises and subject to what the law says, we will also get a deputy governorship candidate, but we will cross those bridges as they arise but they have not arisen yet."he saidReacting to a statement credited to Faleke that he will not be available for swearing-in on January 27, Odigie-Oyegun said "As a political party, we simply understand the frustration that emanated from the death of Abubakar Audu. However, it is normal for us to accommodate the immediate reactions coming from the people involved. They were at the gate of victory but the gate was shut in their faces because of the unfortunate death of their mentor, Abubakar Audu, who would have been our governor in the state. So, a lot of things which normally we would not have accepted happened but we have to accept them so long that everybody will simmer down as time pass by. Wielding the big stick in a situation like this might not be appropriate, but there will be a timeline to it, enough will be enough at a certain time."he said |

In an interview with Fight Hype, Mayweather was asked about what Teigen said about him on Twitter. He claims not to know who she is. What he said after the cut... "The thing is I've never had anything negative to say about John Legend," he said. "I really don't even know what his wife does, whoever she may be. I've never seen John Legend's wife in my life. If I did, I probably just don't remember it. But the thing is this: I'm pretty sure she has a lot going on in her life, but you know, I'm something to talk about, so that can be something else. I am something to talk about. You see, when she spoke on me, she got her name in the public eye, so that's kind of cool of her. I said this many, many, many years ago. | Fomer Nigeria international Dickson Etuhu cleared of Police assault charges in Sweden Posted: 09 Dec 2015 07:46 AM PST  The District Court dismissed in its entirety the charges brought up against Etuhu and his friend, stating that he was not involved in any act of violence against the officials and was only being protective and defensive in nature. Etuhu, who was delighted with the verdict, briefly told SportExpressen.se; "This is great news." AIK Sporting Director, Björn Wesström added: "It is clear that it is good that he will be acquitted. Since there is reason to discuss the situation in view of the events that led to this, we'll have a meeting." | Nigerian refugees allege Cameroon troops raided their village Posted: 09 Dec 2015 07:27 AM PST  "They came, chased us out, burnt our houses, took our animals and even stole our money" Mariamu Abubakar, one of the refugees said Cameroon's military has denied the claim, saying that its troops respect human rights.They however admit they have carried out operations on several border villages in co-ordination with Nigerian soldiers.
