Gabrielle Union talks about Dwyane Wade following Amber Rose

Posted: 10 Feb 2015 12:49 PM PST

Remember when NBA player Dwyane Wade started following Amber Rose on instagram after she posted sexy booty pics of herself on her page? (Read here). Well, Dwyane's wife Gabrielle Union can't believe it made blog/TV news. Below is what she said during an interview on Angie Martinez..
D follows Amber Rose and it's a discussion on 'The Real'? For 20 minutes? Who do you think told him about Amber Rose?! I just Insta-stalk her. I don't actually follow her only because of the backlash that you get. Anytime I like one of Blac Chyna's photos, I get attacked because they feel like I shouldn't like a woman like Blac Chyna. Blac Chyna's one of the sweetest people you'll ever want to meet. Continue...
I just didn't want to deal with the backlash [of following Amber Rose], but I was like, 'Babe, you gotta look…' Because you know, I don't always follow her but I Insta-stalk her. Everybody Insta-stalks each other. I was more offended that they didn't then look into the men that I follow." Continue...
If you're pretty, I'm following you. I don't know them. We're not DM-ing each other. I'm not meeting him at the 7/11 for a diddle. Everything isn't news. Especially people who don't know me or us and didn't stop to think, 'Gab's cool.' I'm not an insecure nutcase. 'Maybe she told him about Amber Rose and then he followed.' Because we know, I know Wiz, I know these people.
On D Wade Unfollowing Amber
[Dwyane unfollowed Amber] because of the backlash. I don't care. I wanted to have someone to talk about. Did you see her azz? It was amazing. I thought it was delicious. I couldn't wait till the next pit stop on her tour. And then when Wiz responded, I was all in! I'm all in… her and Blac Chyna touring the world, I think it's genius. But then I was like 'Wait, how come I'm not hearing about every single person I follow?' They don't assume that he's this some poor athlete victim and his wife is following people.
On why she wanted to sign a prenup:
I was divorced and I came up off of a lot of money, and he wasn't with me shooting in the gym. My first marriage was to an athlete and just to say he was an athlete, doesn't mean to say he makes more than me. In a no-fault divorce state, whoever has more, [pays out]. And it's not factoring in, are you an able-bodied adult person who is capable of working? It's just half.
That being said, I've been there and I'd never want someone to think I'd ever want to be with someone just for a payout. So when both of us go into it saying, 'I don't want you for that, I'm not interested in that, I have my own,' and everyone is comfortable. But I think it's the idea that women are always fighting to not sign a prenup, but I was the opposite. Only because I came up out of the money, and the way it made me feel…like the love was conditional in my first marriage. Conditioned on what are you giving me? That's a terrible feeling to have and I would never wish that on anyone else, so let's take that off of the table. I'm here for you. God forbid it doesn't work out, I'm cool. I'm an able-bodied person. The whole idea that able-bodied people living off of other adults, it's infuriating to me. We talk about it on Mary Jane.
On what she learned from her first marriage:
[I've learned to be a better] wife, friend, partner, but a lot goes into who you choose. We've always been best friends, no matter where we are romantically, that's my best friend, it doesn't matter. Just having that kind of foundation, our marriage so much stronger because we have that friendship. That's why I'll take that fine if you talk crap about him.
It's called equity in your home, equity in your feelings. Follow Amber Rose, I don't care. I think it's great, but I'm just too chicken to actually follow because I don't want to deal with people's mouth, and he didn't want to deal with people's mouth, and he unfollowed her. I'm like, 'Now it's gonna look like I said don't follow her 'cause I'm crazy!' But I don't care. I'm like, 'Now you gotta ride it out! Don't you unfollow her because I'm gonna look crazy if you unfollow and they're gonna think it's me.' But he [unfollowed] because he didn't want to deal with people thinking he was lecherous.
Again, I was so offended that no one was like 'She's following Matt Kemp and he's topless all the time.' I've never met Matt Kemp. I don't think I've ever been in the same room as Matt Kemp, but he's pretty [so] why can't I follow Matt Kemp? I don't think it says anything about my love for my husband. But Matt Kemp's pretty. Jesus, let the man be pretty. I'm gonna look at it. Matt Kemp, you take your shirt off [and] I'm clickin'! Do I ever like? I [comment] 'Way to go!' I'm gonna comment!
There is nothing like Dwyane getting out of the shower. That is amazing. It's awesome. But if there's footage of other people getting out of the shower, I'm looking and I'm commenting.
Everyone assumes that if a man follows video, Instagram models or whatever, [they're like], 'The poor girl. He's looking at other people who are different than her. It's gotta be just heartbreaking.' Well, Matt Kemp looks nothing like D, but magically he still getting up to go to work every day, and we're still married. But there's the assumption that he's not heartbroken, and obsessing in the mirror [and] pinching his fat, or [asking himself], 'Why am I so dark?' Like, who cares? Come on!

The Houston family want Bobbi Kristina & Whitney Houston to have same death date?

Posted: 10 Feb 2015 08:49 AM PST

Makes absolutely no sense but that's what New York Post's Page Six is reporting. That Bobby Brown plans to pull the plug on Bobbi Kristina later tomorrow Feb. 11th, same day her mum died in 2012 because they want the mother and daughter to have same death date? The report below...
Bobbi Kristina Brown's anguished relatives have agreed to take her off life support — but want to wait until Wednesday so she can die on the same date as her tragic mom, Whitney Houston, sources told The Post. Bobbi's grandmother Cissy Houston floated the idea of a Feb. 11 death over the weekend during discussions with the Brown family at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

The Browns gave their blessing to pull the plug at the stroke of midnight to align the date with the 2012 passing of the legendary singer at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The move is a symbolic way to keep the mother and daughter together for eternity, according to a Brown family source.

Highlights of Investigative Forensic Audit done by PwC

Posted: 10 Feb 2015 06:53 AM PST

For those who care for this, found it on the Facebook page of Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala
Highlights of Investigative Forensic Audit done by Pricewaterhouse Cooper into the allegations of unremitted Funds into the Federation Accounts by the NNPC for the period January 2012 to July 2013.
Highlights of PwC Findings. Based on the work conducted by PwC, their conclusions are as follows; Total gross revenues generated from FGN crude oil liftings was $69.34 billion and NOT $67 billion as earlier stated by the Senate Reconciliation Committee for the period from January 2012 to July 2013.
Within the $69.34 billion, $28.22 billion was the value of domestic crude oil allocated to NNPC. Total amount spent as subsidy for PMS amounted to $5.32 billion

Total amount spent as subsidy for DPK (Not appropriated) amounted to $3.38 billion
Total other third party financing arrangement, and equity crude oil processing costs amounted to $1.19 billion
Total cost directly attributable to domestic crude oil amounted to $1.46 billion
Other costs incurred by the Corporation not directly attributable to domestic crude oil is $2.81 billion
Revenue attributable to NPDC as submitted by the former NPDC Managing Director to the Senate hearing (less PPT and Royalty paid) is $5.11 billion. PwC stated that this amount needs to be incorporated into the financial statements of NPDC from where dividend should be declared to the Federation accounts.

Signature bonus, PPT and Royalty yet to be paid by NPDC is $2.22 billion
Total cash remitted into the Federation accounts in relation to crude oil liftings was $50.81 billion and NOT $47 billion as earlier stated by the Senate Reconciliation Committee for the period from January 2012 to July 2013
Based on the information available to PwC, and from the analysis above, the firm submitted that NNPC and NPDC should refund to the Federation Accounts a minimum of $1.48billion.
PwC recommendations:
The PwC report centered on the following three (3) key areas;
NNPC Costs
Ownership of NPDC revenues
DPK subsidy
Below are the highlights as extracted from the report.
NNPC Costs
"The Corporation operates an unsustainable model. Forty six percent (46%) of proceeds of domestic crude oil revenues for the review period was spent on operations and subsidies. The Corporation is unable to sustain monthly remittances to the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC), and also meet its operational costs entirely from the proceeds of domestic crude oil revenues, and have had to incur third party liabilities to bridge the funding gap".
NNPC provided transaction documents representing additional costs of $2.81 billion related to the review period, citing the NNPC Act LFN No 33 of 1977 that allows for such deductions. Clarity is required on whether such deductions should be made by NNPC as a first line charge, before remitting the net proceeds of domestic crude to the federation accounts.
PwC therefore recommended that the NNPC model of operation must be urgently reviewed and restructured, as the current model which has been in operation since the creation of the Corporation cannot be sustained.
Ownership of NPDC revenues
PwC stated that:
- According to NPDC former Managing Director's (Mr Victor Briggs) submission to the Senate Committee hearing on the subject matter, for the period covered by their mandate, NPDC generated $5.11billion (net of royalties and petroleum profits tax paid).
- They relied on the legal opinion provided to the Senate Committee by the Attorney General (AG) on the subject of the transfers of NNPC's (55%) portion of Oil leases (OMLs) involved in the Shell (SPDC) Divestments which impacted crude oil revenues in the period. The AG's opinion indicated that these transfers were within the authority of the Minister of Petroleum Resources to make.
- NNPC's (55%) portion of Oil leases (OMLs) involved in the Shell Divestments related to the eight (8) OML's were transferred to NPDC for an aggregate amount of US$1.85billion. So far, only the amount of US$100m had been remitted. PwC also added that they had expected a transfer basis higher than the US$1.85billion aforementioned
- NPDC had done a self assessment of PPT and Royalty and had unpaid self assessed PPT and Royalty to the tune of $0.47 billion related to the review period. PwC added that they did not obtain any information that suggested that NPDC has been assessed for PPT and Royalty for the review period.
- PwC also stated that NPDC should remit dividend to NNPC and ultimately to the Federation accounts, based on NPDC's dividend policy and declaration of dividend for the review period.
Kerosine Subsidy
PwC determined from information obtained from PPPRA that $3.38 billion relating to DPK subsidy cost was incurred by the NNPC for the review period. They obtained a letter, dated 19 October 2009 written by the Principal Secretary to the President, to the National Security Adviser, confirming a Presidential directive of 15 June 2009 instructing that subsidy on DPK be stopped. PwC also obtained a letter dated 16 December 2010 from the Executive Secretary PPPRA to the CBN Governor clarifying that PPPRA had ceased granting subsidy on Kerosine since the Presidential directive of 15 June 2009. Furthermore, Kerosine subsidy was not appropriated for in the 2012 and 2013 FGN budget.
However, the Presidential Directive was not gazetted and there has been no other legal instrument cancelling the subsidy on DPK.
PwC therefore recommended that an official directive be written to support the legality of the kerosene subsidy costs. This should also be followed by adequate budgeting and appropriation for the costs.

PDP buying PVCs for 10,000 naira each - APC alleges

Posted: 10 Feb 2015 06:02 AM PST

Below is a press statement from APC signed by its National Publicity Secretary...
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has raised the alarm that some people suspected to be agents of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have resorted to underhand tactics, including the purchase of PVCs and the intimidation of some voters to seize their PVCs, in the wake of the recent postponement of the general elections.
In a statement issued in Lagos on Tuesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party also said a company, Agro-Allied Communities Service Nigeria Limited, has been formed ostensibly to provide N50,000 loan each to 'empower' women
It said, however, that anyone seeking to get the loan must provide her PVC as 'collateral', which is basically the essence of the establishment of the company that is supposedly a private concern but in reality a PDP front to mop up PVCs, especially in opposition strongholds.

APC said it is now getting clearer by the day what the PDP-led Federal government sought to gain by forcing the postponement of the elections for six weeks – which is to perfect their rigging plans.

The party warned those behind the abhorrent acts to desist from such tactics, which reflect the desperation by some people to hold on to power at all cost, even when it is clear that Nigerians have widely rejected them due to non performance, massive corruption and profligacy under their watch.

It also appealed to its members and supporters in particular, and Nigerians in general, not to sell their PVCs under any guise, saying that is the only power they have to effect a meaningful change that can ensure the deliverance of democratic dividends to them.

"Our members have alerted us to the fact that PDP agents have been operating in all villages between Kobape and Orile-Imo along the Sagamu-Abeokuta Expressway in Ogun State, giving 10,000 Naira to each poor villager and collecting their PVCs. The PDP agents are also promising each villager a monthly stipend of 10,000 Naira if and when their party assumes office in the state.

"Indications are that this objectionable PVC mop-up is being replicated in all opposition strongholds by the frenzied PDP, hence we at the APC have decided to alert the nation to the reprehensible act," APC said.

The party also said that some Immigration personnel, acting under the guise of arresting illegal aliens with voter cards, are dispossessing a lot of unsuspecting locals in the northern part of the country of their PVCs. These unsuspecting people are arrested and their cards seized, all in an attempt to disenfranchise them.

"This act of desperation is totally unacceptable and must stop forthwith. Every voter should be allowed to exercise his or her franchise in accordance with his/her conscience, without intimidation or inducement," it said."We hope this is not part of the reasons that the PDP relentlessly campaigned for a postponement of the elections, so it can engage in PVC purchase and the disenfranchisement of innocent Nigerians through harassment and intimidation."
