(Read here). Well, Khloe this evening took to Twitter to slam Amber, asking her not to mention her family's name in future interviews.

Looks like Amber Rose has been waiting for years to do this...because when she replied Khloe, she went in, even calling Kim a whore. See all the tweets after the cut...

Obasanjo’s Exit: ‘We Remain Focused’ - PDP releases statement

Posted: 16 Feb 2015 11:41 AM PST

Press statement from the PDP regarding Obasanjo's exit today. Read below...
The leadership Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has received the news of the decision of former President Olusegun Obasanjo to withdraw his membership of our great party. We have also carefully examined the circumstances and the reasons adduced for this unfortunate decision.
While we concede to the inalienable rights of every citizen to hold opinion and to decide who to associate with, we are however deeply saddened that Chief Obasanjo, a revered leader of our party, our first Presidential flagbearer whom the PDP offered the platform to rule our nation for 8 years, could decide to abandon this party at this critical point in time.

This is especially as Chief Obasanjo, who was also the Chairman of the highest advisory organ of the PDP, the Board of Trustees (BoT) discountenanced all pleas by elders and leaders of our great party with regard to his reservations on certain issues within our fold.

Many Nigerians are still bewildered as to what manner of provocation could have led a former President to lose his composure and go to the extent of tearing the membership card of the party that he once led.

Indeed, the PDP is hugely at loss as to how the decision and action of the former President who had enjoyed the benefits of being elected to the highest position of leadership will assist in deepening our democracy and stabilizing the polity.

It is our considered opinion that no matter the provocation, a statesmanly disposition from a person of Chief Obasanjo's status could have encouraged our citizens and help in stabilizing system.

We believe however, that what this country needs now is patriotic actions that engender national unity, tolerance and peaceful coexistence of our people irrespective of political, ethnic and religious persuasions. The overall interest of our nation and wellbeing of our citizens must remain paramount and above all personal and group interests.

Finally, we direct all our members across the country to remain focused on our campaigns and not to be distracted on this issue. With an array of credible candidates led by our Presidential flagbearer, President Goodluck Jonathan, we are sure that we will emerge victorious come March 28 and April 11, 2015 general elections.

Group alleges Fayemi's wife diverted N57.34m of Ekiti drugs to Buhari's campaign

Posted: 16 Feb 2015 12:00 PM PST

Press statement from Ekiti state...
The Ekiti Justice Group (EJG) has condemned the alleged diversion of N57.34m drugs meant for Ekiti State to the campaign of All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Major General Mohammadu Buhari (rtd) by the wife of former governor of the State, Mrs Bisi Fayemi.
The group, in a release issued in Ado Ekiti on Monday, and signed by its Secretary, Comrade Ebenezer Olaleye, urged the State government to investigate the allegation.
A text message by EKITI-UK had alleged that Fayemi's wife donated drugs worth N57.34m to Buhari's campaign. It was alleged that the drugs sourced from a European Donor Agency last year August for Ekiti Free Health Mission arrived first week of January.
The drugs were said to be part of the N135m drugs Buhari's wife, Hajiya Aishatu Buhari donated to  the Internally Displaced Persons camps in Adamawa State last week Wednesday.
EJG said it was miffed that Fayemi and his wife were yet to learn there lessons after they were roundly rejected by Ekiti people.
It added; "that was the way Fayemi's wife built a N500m Centre for Gender and Social Policy Studies for the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and donated two brand new buses to the Elizade University, Ilaramokin.
"She also donated 600 books from her library to the university while Ekiti State University was begging for attention.
"Her husband donated N1.5bn to Buhari's campaign and she has donated drugs meant  for Ekiti people to Adamawa State.
"We wonder why Fayemi and his wife hate Ekiti and its people this much."

Man badly beats bride on their wedding night because he couldn't undo her dress

Posted: 16 Feb 2015 10:59 AM PST

A bride was brutally beaten by her husband on their wedding night because he couldn't undo her dress. Amy Dawson was pinned to the floor by Gavin Golightly just hours after tying the knot in a romantic ceremony in County Durham in August.

The 22-year-old had asked her new husband for help getting out of the white dress she was wearing when he launched the violent attack. Golightly, 29, said he was under the influence of drugs and could not remember the incident but pleaded guilty to assault at Peterlee Magistrates Court.

Miss Dawson, who shares a child with the man, said the attack was so severe she thought it would kill her.
'When he lashed out on me on my wedding night I thought I was going to die. I was terrified.
'He looked like he was going to kill me.

'Eventually, I escaped and found a hotel porter, who called the police.
'It was such a lovely day, and I was devastated it ended the way it did. It was a huge celebration full of friends and family, and I thought it would have been the fresh start we needed.'

After getting married in St Mary's Church in West Rainton, the couple held their reception at nearby Beamish Hall.
Shortly before 1am, the couple retired to a room in the hotel where Ms Dawson tried to get undressed.
'At 12.55am, the following morning, they went to their room, which she was helped towards by a night porter,' said prosecutor Sarah Traynor.

'The defendant then tried to undo Ms Dawson's dress. She received a crochet (to undo the dress with), but the defendant then refused to undo his new wife's dress.
'The defendant then jumped up from his chair, approached Ms Dawson and pushed her over.
'He then sat on top of her and started punching her with clenched fists. He then got up and left the room. It appears that the defendant then came back to the room.
'The defendant said he has no recollection of the event, adding that he must have had his drink spiked.
'He remembers waking up in a hotel room and said he does not get angry when he takes drugs.
'Ms Dawson had a cut above her left eyebrow and some bruises to her face and chest area.'
Ms Dawson added said her husband had changed dramatically since she fell pregnant eight months after their relationship began.
'When I first met Gavin, he was lovely. I couldn't fault him.
'He was caring and loving, and when we found we were having a baby we were delighted.
'I fell pregnant after eight months but almost straight away Gavin became controlling and manipilative.

It was like walking on eggshells.'
Golightly from Sunderland, pleaded guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm at a court hearing last month.

He was given a 12 month community order and a restraining order preventing him from contacting his wife.

Ms Dawson has slammed the sentence as too lenient.
'The community order was far too soft. The restraining order is the only thing keeping me strong. He means nothing to me now.'

Chairman of the bench Paul Elliott, told Golightly: 'You do know that when your custody report was asked for, custody was an option because this was a serious assault.
'But your early guilty plea and mitigation mean that we will give you a 24-month community order with the requirement of supervision.'
He was also ordered to pay £200 in compensation to her, £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

Obasanjo's exit from PDP is good riddance to bad rubbish - Fayose

Posted: 16 Feb 2015 07:47 AM PST

Read the press statement from the Ekiti state governor's office below...
Ekiti State governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has described the exit of the former President of Nigeria, General Olusegun Obasanjo from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a good omen to the party, saying; "Obasanjo's exit is good riddance to bad rubbish. His departure is inglorious, we will never miss him.
Governor Fayose, who said Obasanjo's tearing of his PDP membership card was a vindication of his stand that the former president should have been shown a red card by the PDP a long time ago, noted that; "Now the PDP can sleep with two eyes closed because the lion among our brethren, the tormentor of Nigeria just departed from our party to join the All Progressives Congress (APC)."

The governor, who reacted to Obasanjo's tearing of his PDP membership card through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Idowu Adelusi, said the former president was "a man without honour" who has been the major problem of the PDP and that "tearing his membership card was to save
him from imminent expulsion."

"Obasanjo shouldn't just tear his PDP membership card; he should relinquish the ownership of Bell University, Obasanjo Farms, Obasanjo Presidential Library, and other financial benefits he got during his eight years as president," Fayose said.

Speaking further, Fayose said; "Obasanjo's formal exit from the PDP at this time will further enhance the chance of the party in the presidential election because Nigerians will now see that eight out of
the 16 years that the APC claimed was a waste was spent by the party because Obasanjo and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who ruled Nigeria from 1999 to 2007 are now members of APC.

"If there is anything negative about PDP, Obasanjo contributed 50 percent. His eight years tenure is part of the 16 years that the APC people claim is a waste. And now that Obasanjo and Atiku are members of APC, it can be said that APC ruled Nigeria from 1999 to 2007 and the party should be ready to accept the liabilities of Obasanjo and Atiku's government.

"Therefore, Obasanjo's exit from the PDP is a confirmation that there is victory ahead for our party and mark my words, President Jonathan will be re-elected, Nigeria will have a clean departure from its sordid past, which Obasanjo and Buhari represent and take a giant leap into a promising future."

Obasanjo, an embarrassment to the military- Defense HQ releases statement

Posted: 16 Feb 2015 07:21 AM PST

The Nigerian military just released a statement on its Facebook page blasting former president and retired General Olusegun Obasanjo over his recent remarks alleging that president Jonathan wants to use the military/Service Chiefs to extend his tenure. Find the Defense press statement below...
The Defence Headquarters has noted the remarks of a former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo as reported in the media stating his views on perceived state of the armed forces and the roles being allegedly played by the military in the nation's political process in recent times. The leadership and cross section of the military believes that the former President and retired General has every right to be interested in the actions and fate of the military. Hence, his views like many others will continue to be accorded the well-deserved attention. It is however noteworthy that most of his utterances lately indicate an attitude of playing to the gallery or indulging in politicization of serious national security or military affairs.

For instance, the comments credited to Chief Obasanjo alleging that the postponement of the General Elections was to enable President Jonathan to use the Service Chiefs to plot a tenure extension is to say the least, very surprising. It is surprising indeed, considering the fact that the retired General chose to ignore the clarification and emphatic assurances of non-partisanship of the military as declared in a DHQ statement on the position of the Armed Forces in the ongoing political activities. His motive as usual remains unknown but it is certainly less than noble or well intentioned. We dare say again that Chief Obasanjo's assertions are false.
Much as the military desires to respect the old General and his views, it has become necessary to point out that his conduct and unguarded utterances of late has fallen short of the standard of discipline expected of an individual who has had the privilege of service in the military and risen to the status of a General. The behavior of retired General (Chief) Obasanjo has been so unbecoming and continues to constitute a serious embarrassment to the military before all who have reasonably and rightly adjudged the essence of military background in terms of the high value and standard it tends to contribute to statesmanship.
We feel constrained to remind the old General that the world has moved beyond that parochial and self-adulating reasoning and mindset which he seems stuck to. Indeed, he needs to be told that by virtue of their better training, exposure, education, assessment and environment, the military personnel of today are already far beyond his level in their appreciation of democracy and it's indispensability for the stable and prosperous society which Nigerians cherish.
In this instance, the military wishes to inform the retired General, that the institution which he bequeathed to the nation has .certainly developed beyond how he left it. The Nigerian military is now better placed to strive for the maintenance of the legacies & ethos of service, valour, subordination to constituted authorities, and nonpartisan commitment to duty and fatherland. It has to be restated that the military as an institution, is neither as inept in the discharge of its duties, nor is it being misused for political ends in the manner the retired General Obasanjo who was also a former President has possibly been made to believe.

Indeed, the system now strongly believes in Democracy as well as its structures and institutions to the extent that It will do nothing whatsoever to undermine or truncate the steady growth and development of the nation's democracy. The military will remain professional as it keeps doing its best along with others to ensure adequate security and defence of the nation's territorial integrity in this auspicious period in the country.

The Defence Headquarters will like to encourage Chief Obasanjo to be genuinely interested in the growth & sustenance of Nigeria's democratic credentials. He is also enjoined to endeavor to improve in his understanding of intricate issues and try to encourage the military rather than continue with this tendency to indulge in imputation of ulterior motives to every effort, all for the purpose of discrediting well thought out policies or decisions related to the military's roles in the polity. The support of all well-meaning elderly Nigerians remains vital in the onerous duty of working for the stability, defence, and peace of our country under duly constituted authorities in a democratic environment.
