Photo of the pilot and co-pilot that died in the Lagos helicopter crash

Captain Joseph Wyatt  (left) from Oklahoma, USA and First Officer Peter Bello (right), were the pilot and co-pilot of the Bristow Helicopter that crashed yesterday. Both men died. According to a statement signed by Bristow's Regional Director Africa, Duncan Moore, ​Captain Wyatt, joined the company in 2006 and has spent his entire career flying with Bristow Helicopters out of Africa.

Peter Bello joined Bristow in 2014 after graduating from the company's Academy's helicopter flight school. May their souls rest in peace, amen.

Earlier today, I posted a photo of a dilapidated/collapsed signage on the Ijora Causeway, which was sent to me by a LIB reader (read here). Well, a few hours later, the Lagos State govt has done something about it. They have promptly removed the collapsing directional gantry which posed a risk to motorists. Dr Dre's baby mama singer Michel'le has been very open about the physical abuse she suffered from Dr Dre for years and it is widely known that the multi-millionaire music mogul and businessman beat the crap out of journalist Dee Barnes for an interview she did with Ice Cube after he left N.W.A.

On the eve of biopic Straight Outta Compton opening night, Dr. Dre opened up about his vicious attack on the two women. Below is what he told Rolling Stone Magazine

"I made some f**king horrible mistakes in my life. I was young, f**king stupid. I would say all the allegations aren't true – some of them are. Those are some of the things that I would like to take back. It was really f**ked up. But I paid for those mistakes, and there's no way in hell that I will ever make another mistake like that again."

Missing co-pilot, Peter Bello confirmed dead, friends mourn him

Such a tragedy. Rescuers this morning recovered the body of the pilot and co-pilot of the ill fated helicopter that crashed into the Lagos Lagoon yesterday. Peter Bello was the co-pilot. Friends have taken to social media to express their grief. Heard he was the only son of his parents. So sad. May his soul rest in peace, Amen. More tweets after the cut...

'Nobody got followed, nobody got hassled' - Lamar Odom hits back after being accused of 'ambushing' Khloe

Yesterday, TMZ published a photo and reported that Lamar Odom ambushed his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian outside a gym in Hollywood and that witnesses threatened to call police. Now Lamar is claiming the whole thing was set up by Khloe. He insisted he didn't confront Khloe, suggesting the meeting was pre-arranged. In an angry rant with TMZ cameras, Lamar said 
'Nobody got followed, nobody got hassled, nobody got harassed, nobody got grabbed on, none of that...It's ridiculous, it's crazy...It's just not the truth.' 

He then told them that he lives in Las Vegas and therefore could not know Khloe's daily routin
"Did I just guess right where this girl may be? You know I know Khloe right? You know I was close to her? So how would you think I ended up there?'
I don't believe in what y'all do. I don't believe in following people around. I don't Instagram, I don't Twitter. Me and that girl fell in love, that's our business. If we wanna let you in our house, we can let you in and f--- it, we can kick you out at the same time. Do not disrespect my space, do not disrespect my character. From day one, even if half the things were true, people know who I am. And you people have discredited me, took my confidence, beat me down, and you will not do it again. Two years straight, ain't nobody bounce a ball better than me yet nobody wanna f--- with me."
Lamar then threatened to expose secrets if he's not vindicated and accused TMZ of racism.

Buhari reinstates Nigerian Port Authority MD sacked by GEJ

President Buhari has sacked the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Alhaji Sanusi Ado Bayero (left) and reinstated the one sacked by Goodluck Jonathan in April this year, Habibu Abdullahi (right). According to statement by Femi Adesina, Ado Bayero's sack is with immediate effect. He is to hand over the management of NPA and all government property in his possession to Mr. Habibu Abdullahi.

Rob Johnson, 44, and his wife, Marie Johnson, 43, from Port St. Lucie, Florida were on Tuesday, August 11 arrested for allegedly turning a 13-year-old girl into their sex slave. The couple took in the then 13-year-old girl to live with them after her mother died and locked her up for five years.

All through the years of abuse, Rob Johnson held Sunday school classes for his family at their home, invoking Old Testament Bible Passages to justify their perversion.

According to the Port St. Lucie Police Department, the teenager was told by the couple she could only stay if she had sex with them. The girl also told investigators that she was forced to call Rob "master," and that Marie Johnson had pushed her against a wall and held her by her throat until she agreed to the meet their sexual demands. And when she failed to follow the couple's directions or complete her chores, she was severely beaten.

The girl, who has not been identified said that the abuse happened repeatedly for five years until she was 18 years old. She was home schooled, not allowed to communicate with the outside world and made to rehearse what to say to doctors if she was ever asked about her sexual history.

The Johnsons were freed on bail after appearing at St Lucie County Court on Tuesday.
