Tunde ran and got shot in head by a police man. Please share the truth. He was not fighting, he was shot by police that came for extra pocket money.! They are calling on the Nigerian government to intervene and help them as they say they are constantly harassed and assaulted by the authorities in Malaysia for no reason. | Terrorists' Human Butcher Apprehended by Nigerian Security Forces Posted: 07 Mar 2014 07:53 AM PST  Nigerian security forces operating with the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) yesterday repelled a dusk attack by terrorists in their bid to overrun markets in communities in the outskirts of Monguno and NNPC at New Marte, Borno State along Chadian border, this is according to a press release from the Defence Headquarters, Ministry of Defence. | APC leader got N84billion contract under ex-CBN Gov Sanusi – PDP Posted: 07 Mar 2014 06:23 AM PST  Find the Punch report below... The Peoples Democratic Party has alleged that an unnamed leader of the All Progressives Congress got a contract of N84bn from the suspended Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Mallam Lamido Sanusi.
The National Publicity Secretary of the ruling party, Chief Olisa Metuh (pictured above), made the allegation at a press briefing in Abuja on Thursday. Metuh was commenting on the unveiling of the APC manifesto, which he said lacked character. He said, "The spirited defence for the suspended Central Bank Governor mounted by the APC was because the leaders of the party benefitted immensely from Sanusi. "A fraudulent N84bn contract was awarded to a leader of the party while another N5bn was paid to another stalwart of the party as consultancy fee." Metuh refused to give the names or the details of the contracts. When asked for reaction, the Interim National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, promised to react "soon." He said he was attending a summit in Abuja. Meanwhile, Metuh has described the manifesto which was released on Thursday as a product of what he called "Janjaweed ideology." He also described the manifesto as a roadmap to anarchy which he said was typical of all anti-democratic coalitions and claimed that the manifesto lacked character, depth and that it completely addressed no issue. Metuh said the manifesto ranked security of lives and property low and that it gave no clue as to its preparedness to tackle terrorism. He added that the manifesto was a tacit acknowledgment that the APC might be benefiting from the mayhem and knew more than meet the eyes about the spate of terror attacks in the country. He said, "When last year in its first official outing, the leaders of the APC said terrorism in Nigeria would disappear within 100 days of APC leadership, Nigerians did ask if they knew the characters in the crime and their sponsors. APC gave silence as an answer while Nigerians kept wondering. "Today, the party has released its manifesto with loud silence on the matter so that Nigerians would not raise further questions on the face behind the terrorism mask." On job creation and war against corruption which the APC projected as cardinal on its manifesto, Metuh said the APC had no credible recipe for job creation nor had it shown the strength of character to fight corruption more than the PDP. He said, "The PDP created anti-corruption agencies – the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and established the Freedom of Information Act to further give teeth to the war on graft. "The PDP-led Federal Government has also shown no preferences in its battle against corruption as senior party leaders as well as relations have at one time or another been made to face the law on charges of corruption." | ||

| 13 students hospitalised in Lagos after inhaling poisonous fumes Posted: 07 Mar 2014 04:24 AM PST  This came four months after 25 of the students of the same school collapsed after inhaling an unidentified chemical waste discharged into drainage by a Photo Laboratory, situated in the Shopping Arcade.  Also, our correspondent observed that parents of the students raced to the scene to verify the condition of their children. While those whose children weren't affected by the emission rushed them back home, some were also sighted wailing over the ugly incident. Mr. Oladokun, the father of one of the victims, who rushed to the scene immediately he heard of the incident, said: "I was in the office when my wife called me that my daughter, who is in JSS 3 was also affected." The incidents was said to have occurred at about 12:40 pm while the students were still in their classes. Vanguard gathered that the leak of the dangerous gas was least expected as it enveloped the premises making the victims unconscious. Officials of the National Emergency management Agency, NEMA and its Lagos state counterpart, LASEMA and the Lagos State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit, SEHMU arrived the scene and rushed the unconscious victims to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, Ikeja for treatment.  Some of the affected students were: Tijani Mariam, Subaidat Oladokun, Adebiyi Taiwo, Muiz Rodiat, Ogunbami Omolade, Onaigbe Blessing, Karimat Akiode, Rasak Gbolahan and Modupe Idowu. Vanguard learnt that although the company responsible for discharging the chemical was yet to be identified, the state government has shut the school and the shopping complex indefinitely. I won't lie about the fact that we had intimate encounter. But I did not rape her. And it was about four or five days after she visited me that she went to the police to allege that I raped her. I went to the police station but when when I realized that the officers there were favoring her as a complainant, I requested them to transfer the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba. There, they asked her for evidence that she was raped. There was no injury on her. Her clothes were intact. When she couldn't produce evidence, the police advised her not to attempt to blackmail me. They advised her to gently approach me and ask for help if she wanted anything. When she first called me to say she was feeling sick, I called the woman who introduced her to me to take her to hospital. But Alhaja said nothing was wrong with her, that she was only trying to extort me. Alhaja said she planned to blackmail me into parting with between five and ten million naira. I can tell you my enemies are behind the allegation. They are trying to bring me down. But they won't succeed because I'm a child of God, a messenger of God. Once God remains behind me, nobody can bring me down. I'm a responsible man, a reliable man. But I'm human and therefore fallible. But I'm not losing sleep about this allegation. I'm undeterred and I'm going about my business because I have no doubt that the truth will prevail." | ||
| Dear LIB readers: My husband and I can't stand each other anymore Posted: 06 Mar 2014 10:56 PM PST  I married this man in an elaborate wedding that cost both our parents a fortune less than a year ago. I can't stand him anymore. And he's told me on numerous occasions that he can't stand me either. At the time I married him everyone told me he was the ideal guy and comes from a good, wealthy family. We dated for less than a year before getting married but the marriage was over before it even started. He's spoilt, egocentric and with him there's no middle ground. It's his way or the high way. These things I only noticed after I married him. I sincerely can't see myself spending the rest of my life with this man. The last time he touched me was just five months into our marriage. I'm sure he's getting it somewhere else but who cares? We are still keeping up appearances and still live in the same house but I want out. Thing is, my parents will be so disappointed in me because they have invested so much in us. I don't want to disappoint them because I am the first daughter but I'm tired of this sham of a marriage. Apart from my parents I don't want my friends to laugh at me because they are all happily married. What should I do? | ||

According to the test results -- obtained by Alki David and his company, FilmOn.com - Brandon Howard is almost certainly Michael's son. David told TMZ Live he got MJ's dental impression from a Beverly Hills doctor that he got at an auction. The impression is 30 years old but David says its filled with DNA. Brandon - who now goes by B Howard and looks and acts very much like Michael - was not present for the unveiling, but David says he had Howard's DNA and it matched up.Who believes this? Continue...
