Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas reportedly split Posted: 29 Apr 2014 01:09 PM PDT According to multiple sources, one of the most eligible bachelors in the world, Prince Harry, 29, is back in the market after splitting from girlfriend of almost two years, Cressida Bonas, 25. From E! Online... E! News can confirm that the two, who began dating almost two years ago, are no longer dating. A source tells People magazine that Harry found Bonas "too needy" and that "it just wasn't working out." However, Showbiz Spy is reporting that their relationship came to a halt because of concerns on Bonas' end. "Cressie is still young and had huge reservations about marrying into the royal family," a source told the site. E! News also reported earlier that Cressida has been nervous about the attention she'll receive if she ever made it official with Prince Harry. The shocking split comes on the heels of months of speculation that the redheaded royal was inching closer to popping the question to the beautiful blonde. |
Dear LIB readers: My step father is sleeping with me Posted: 29 Apr 2014 12:58 PM PDT From a female LIB reader I am writing this to you now in tears, please post this and let LIB readers advice me. I am just sixteen years old writing my WAEC. My step father had sex with me against my will. I lost count of how many times we did it already. I told my mummy about this and she was actually OK with it, she did not even believe me. Now as am typing this, I am being beating up by my step father because I refused to have sex with him anymore. He even threatened to kill me. Please make this public so that everybody will know that not all men of God are truly men of God because he calls himself a prophet. Got these photos to back it up.She sent me photos of her alleged abuser...but because she didn't give me her own photo, real name or any details about her, it's hard for me to post photos and accuse someone of sexual abuse. I've tried to reach out to her but it's been...but there's a pic of her alleged injury after the cut... |

Wait, people can have sex in the first class section of a commercial plane? Posted: 29 Apr 2014 09:40 AM PDT I just read Chrissy Teijen's interview today and I was like...wait, what? According to the model, she and her husband, John Legend, once had sex in the first class section of a commercial plane with other passengers around them. Such a turn on ..*wink* lol. When asked the craziest place she and John have had sex, Chrissy replied; "We were on our way to Thailand to see my parents, flying commercial first-class. We were under a blanket. We weren't even in one of those pod things. I feel like we should get a trophy for that." Chrissy tells Cosmoplitan magazine. On hooking up with John Legend on the set of his hit 2009 single "Stereo," and building their relationship: "I'm not going to lie. We hooked up. [When he went on tour] I left him be himself for a while. The worst thing you can do is try to lock someone like that down early on, then have them think, There's so much more out there. I played it cool for a long time. Never once did I ask, 'What are we?' Marriage was never my goal, because I've never been very traditional. I was just happy to be with him."On PDA with her husband: "We're by no means freaky-deaky, but let's just say, we're open to things. We're very okay with PDA. When we go to a restaurant, he loves when I wear a dress, so he can do some upper-thigh rubbing." |

Delta bursary fraud whistleblower arrested in Lagos & taken to Delta state Posted: 29 Apr 2014 04:38 AM PDT According to a report by SR, Ambrose Ezewani, an ex student of the University of Lagos and former President of the National Association of Delta State students, UNILAG chapter, who blew the lid on a systematic student bursary racketing allegedly spearheaded by the Commissioner for Higher Education in Delta state, Mr Hope Eghagha has been handed over to the Delta state Government Sahara Reporters reports.. Police officers in Sabo Station yesterday afternoon handed him over after the Delta State officials visited to ask for his transfer to Asaba, Delta State where he will be most likely tortured and "tried" for revealing the fraud perpetrated by officials of the state. Ezeanwani was President of the National Association of Delta State Students Union at the University of Lagos. During his tenure, he revealed that the bursary system was fraught with fraud, which he said was being perpetrated by men in the scholarship board in Delta State. Continue...Ezeawani alleged that the irregularities surfaced since the current Commissioner for Higher Education in the State, Mr. Hope Eghagha came on board. Mr. Eghagha a former professor at the University of lagos was a former newspaper columnist and critic of the Delta state government before bagging a government appointment a few years ago. Ezeawani claims that Eghagha's office had created a system for students bursary application where non-existing students are awarded bursary by the state. He said in his investigation, which the UNILAG students' records office corroborated, the names published as "approved" for bursary awards every year where non-existent in the Institution's official records. Ezeawani further stated that his research discovered that the office of the Commissioner for Higher Education in Delta State led by Eghagha had generated about 23,000 fake students and bank accounts and sorts codes throughout institutions across the country to siphon bursary funds while publishing fake names of beneficiaries in the print media every year. Although few genuine names of students are mixed in the published bursary approval list every year, it is observed that most of the genuine students are shut out of the scheme while non-existing names are paraded. Ambrose had led series of protest marches calling for investigations into the scam, however, the Economic and financial crimes Commission EFCC) to whom he directed his protests did nothing to investigate the fraud. Last Wednesday on his way to Federal college of education (Technical) Akoka some men in mufti pulled up in front of him and attempted forcing him into their car. Ezeawani said he resisted and headed for the police station in Sabo instead. The men followed him and asked the police to hand him over but the police refused. The men apparently sent by the Delta state government then asked that Ezeawani be detained for them to go and prepare documents from Asaba to facilitate his hand over. He has now been handed over yesterday to policemen from Asaba who are suspected to be doing the bidding of the Delta State officials. |

Abducted schoolgirls allegedly married off for N2,000, moved abroad Posted: 29 Apr 2014 04:00 AM PDT OK, here's seriously hoping that this is not true. But according to reports, the 234 girls abducted at Government Girls College on April 15th may have been married off for N2,000 each and may also have been removed from the Nigeria to neighbouring countries like Chad and Cameroon. Daily Trust reports Most of the 234 Borno schoolgirls in Boko Haram captivity have been ferried abroad to Chad and Cameroon after they were married off to sect members on N2,000 bride price each, an elder told Daily Trust yesterday. Dr. Pogu Chibok, who is the leader of the Chibok Elders Forum, told Daily Trust yesterday that latest information available to them indicates that most of the girls have been taken to the neighboring Cameroon and Chad by their captors. He said before they were ferried in canoes across the Lake Chad, a wedding ceremony was conducted at a town on the border with Cameroon where they were married off to Boko Haram militants. Continue... He said N2,000 was paid as bride price on each of the girls to the specific Boko Haram members who took them from their school and who had assumed "ownership" of the students. "They ferried them in canoes to Cameroon and Chad republic after they were wedded off to Boko Haram members who bidded (sic) and paid N2,000 each as dowries on their heads," Bitrus said. "The dowry was paid to their captors, the very people who abducted them from their school. One of them who married one of the girls took her to a border town close to Cameroon where villagers saw her." Following their abduction, the schoolgirls were thought to be first taken to the Boko Haram camps in the notorious Sambisa Forest. Reports later said villagers had seen the girls being conveyed in trucks to other locations. Bitrus said yesterday: "So many sources have informed us that the girls have been taken to Cameroon. Many villagers said they saw the girls being transported in trucks and then in canoes. "On Sunday they were taken to Dikwa area where they (Boko Haram) have a camp there. From there they took them to Marte, then Monguno before they were finally ferried in canoes. It was yesterday we got this latest report of them being married off to the insurgents by their captors." He said sources in Cameroon told them that most of the girls were now being held at "an area where the Boko Haram operates in Cameroon." On whether military authorities were informed about the movements of the girls, Bitrus said: "The military was alerted on Tuesday about two weeks ago when some villagers saw many of the girls being transported in trucks, some with even their school uniforms. The villagers tried calling the senator representing the zone but they couldn't get him so they went to Bama barracks where they reported the matter. "At the Bama barracks they were told that they must put it in writing, that that is the military tradition. At that time if the military had intervened they would have stopped them from reaching their destination. "And the fact that for nearly two weeks we have been talking about this and nothing is being done, then there are questions we have to ask. Nobody did anything." Bitrus sobbed as he spoke to our reporter yesterday. "What is happening with the Nigerian nation? I think we demand some answers. Today it is happening to these unfortunate girls from Chibok, tomorrow it may be somewhere else and that is why all Nigerians must rally around us on this," he said. "If these captors are trying to achieve a political point, I think the best thing is for us to try to make sure that they don't succeed but from all indications they are succeeding due to inaction of government. It is helping these people in achieving their objectives." Earlier yesterday, Bitrus spoke to the BBC Hausa radio saying "parents of these girls have been angry that despite the existence of government, there has not been concrete effort from government on the matter. "Female parents have been crying day and night, because nobody knows what government is doing about the whole issue. All that we read in the papers is that Nigerian Army have done this or that." When contacted over claims that the military was informed of the movement of the schoolgirls, the Director of Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade, told Daily Trust: "The concern and anxiety from all quarters is quite understandable. Please be assured that as much as the forces may not disclose details of action being taken to secure the freedom of the girls, every information received on the subject is duly analyzed and acted upon as necessary. "No information is being ignored in the concerted effort to ensure the safety and freedom of the girls. Just pray for the successful outcome of all efforts please." Culled from Daily Trust |
