Dear LIB readers: I want to leave my girlfriend because she had sex with me

Posted: 30 Nov 2014 09:34 AM PST

From a male LIB reader. I never hear this kind one before o...lol. Abeg read below...
My girlfriend and I have dated for two years now and for the period we have been together, she has NEVER said no to my sexual advances, as in never. She gives me her body at will and never hesitates. Last Sunday in Church my Pastor while preaching said that a woman who really loves you and would be faithful in marriage would not give you her body at all while you are dating and if at all she gives it to you, it would be after a "battle". Now am having a rethink because even me sef am wondering "why would she not ever say no to giving me her body? Does she respect her body at all or is it blind love? Would she be ever faithful? Is my Pastor right?
Lol. Nothing wey person no go hear. Oya, over to you guys...

Kim and Kanye are divorcing? I hear!

Posted: 30 Nov 2014 03:20 AM PST

Choi. Another day, another Kim and Kanye are divorcing report. This one from MediaTakeOut.com
We told you weeks ago that Kim and Kanye were divorcing - and now it's happening. This is a MediaTakeOut.com exclusive report!
People were wondering how long it would be before Kim and Kanye got divorced, well you're not going to have to wait long for answers. MTO broke the news a few weeks ago, that Kim was spotted inside the office of popular divorce attorney Laura Wasser.
And this weekend - it's UNDENIABLE that Kim and Kanye are headed for a SEPARATION. Here's what we know, according to the NY POST, Kanye did NOT spend Thanksgiving with Kim, her family, OR HIS DAUGHTER. Yeezy ran off to Paris:
Kanye West skipped a family Thanksgiving with the Kardashians.
The rapper — without Kim and baby North — was spotted dining at Ralph Lauren's restaurant in Paris with two male friends Thursday.
Meanwhile, Kim was in LA with the whole Kardashian Klan at Khloé's house.
What man doesn't spend THANKSGIVING with his family, huh???? All you folks that DOUBTED our reporting, can you please ANSWER THAT.
But it gets even worse, it's clear that Kim is DONE WITH KANYE'S N*TCH AZZ. She tweeted out on Thursday night, "I'm so thankful to have spent the day with my whole family . . . Khloé cooked so much yummy food!." Since Kanye did NOT spend the day with her, that means she no longer considers him family.
What was the straw that broke the camels' back? Well MediaTakeout.com's insider tells us that Kanye was "upset" about Kim K's latest trip to Dubai. He suspects that there could have been FUNNY BUSINESS involved during the trip.
Kim Kardashian has been DROPPING MAJOR HINTS that her relationship with Kanye is ON THE ROCKS. Her latest . . . talking about how her DAUGHTER is her best friend . . . and leaving Kanye OUT THE PICTURE!!

Read about Ladi Kwali: The woman on the N20 note

Posted: 30 Nov 2014 03:04 AM PST

If you know any great Nigerian history please share with the rest of us. Below is the history of Ladi Kwali, the woman on the N20 note...
Nigeria's best known potter who was awarded a Doctorate and was made MBE in 1963 for the level of detail and skill she utilized while making her pots.
Ladi Dosei Kwali (1925-1983) popularly known as Dr Ladi Kwali was born in 1925 in Kwali town in the present Federal Capital Territory, Abuja,Nigeria.
Probably she is the best known of the Abuja potters. Making pots was women's work in Kwali and the entire Gwari villages, therefore Ladi came to Abuja (the then Suleja) with knowledge of traditional Gwari pottery.
She did not at first take to the idea of using wheels and kilns and the other paraphernalia of the European potter, but proved to have a natural ability to throw. She was picked from her traditional home Kwali to the then Abuja the present Suleja because of her natural ability in making pots.
The Abuja Pottery Training Centre was established 1950 by an English potter, Michael Cardew, who was sent to the Abuja area by the then colonial government, ostensibly to improve the quality of local work. But he found himself, for the next 15 years, in a symbiotic working relationship with local potters, in which he taught and was taught by potters like Ladi Kwali.
While Cardew introduced wheels and kilns to the centre, he also learnt about traditional firing methods and ornamentation. Kwali on the other hand, was initially reluctant to adapt to the wheel, preferring the spiralled coil method of building pots. She however, discovered she had a natural flair for the wheel. Cardew encouraged her to decorate her work, something she had not done before, and he even fired some of her traditional work in the Abuja kiln.
Ladi was later to become a very popular member of the touring lecture team; her easy nature and ability to communicate made her well liked and appreciated in Europe, Britain and America. She became Nigeria's best known potter and has been honoured in many ways; she was given a doctorate.
By the time she died in 1983, Dr Ladi Kwali was Nigeria's best known potter. She left a rich legacy of her work and a school of 'students' who picked up from where she left at the Abuja Pottery Training Centre. Over the next decade, her ornamentation skills became more sophisticated, and probably because of improved firing methods, she had the opportunity to exhibit her work in Europe in 1958, 1959 and 1962.
Her pottery was also displayed during Nigeria's independence celebrations in 1960. Dr Ladi Kwali remained associated with the Abuja pottery works till she died. She gave lectures and demonstrations at home and abroad on her craft throughout her career.

Officer who shot unarmed teen resigns from Ferguson police force

Posted: 30 Nov 2014 02:01 AM PST

Darren Wilson, the officer who shot and killed unarmed teen Michael Brown has resigned from the Ferguson Police force. Wilson resigned yesterday November 29th, 5 days after a grand jury decided not to indict him in the fatal shooting of Brown. Though he has been on administrative leave since the incident on August 9th.

ABC News obtained a copy of Wilson's letter of resignation. See it after the cut...

The letter reads:
"I, Darren Wilson, hereby resign my commission as a police officer with the City of Ferguson effective immediately. I have been told that my continued employment may put the residents and police officers of the City of Ferguson at risk, which is a circumstance that I cannot allow. For obvious reasons, I wanted to wait until the grand jury made their decision before I officially made my decision to resign. It was my hope to continue in police work, but the safety of other police officers and the community are of paramount importance to me. It is my hope that my resignation will allow the community to heal. I would like to thank all of my supporters and fellow officers throughout this process."

Fayemi’s aide accuses Ekiti Obas of collecting N150,000 bribe

Posted: 30 Nov 2014 12:57 AM PST

Below is a press release from Governor Ayo Fayose's aides
Ogun State born Maxwell Olusegun Adegbenro,  Special Assistant on Social Media to the immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi has accused traditional rulers in Ekiti State, who attended forum organised by Concerned Yoruba Elderst in Ile-Ife on Friday, of collecting N150, 000 bribe each to attend the event.
Maxwell Adegbenro made this allegations on his Facebook page at about 11:30 am on Saturday. He berated the Obas, including the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe of travelling to Ile-Ife to meet with President Goodluck Jonathan, saying; "The Ekiti Obas can receive the President in their home state and not OAU at a function organised by a group in close association with PDP."
Adegbenro, who is  Dr Fayemi's spokesperson on social media must have echoed the position of the former governor on the traditional rulers' visit to Ile-Ife on Friday to attend the event.
He said; "And our own traditional rulers in their borrowed robe suddenly filled Gov Fayose escort to endorse Jonathan and not to receive him.
"Was Jonathan coming to Ekiti? How may Ondo State Traditional rulers graced the programme?
"How many Osun State Obas, Ogun and Oyo suddenly became President Jonthan convoy team to a meeting supposedly organised to rally support for him?
"You and I know why these Obas were there. They may have been lucksturally deceived by Fayose in presenting entire Ekiti before President Jonathan as peoples choice and candidate.
"Traditional rulers are separable of despotic politics. An interplay that has no moral, cultural ground is justifiably an ills to our values and norms. Egbon, that is my point. Where then is their integrity. So, again I heard they were paid 150k each."
Reacting, Special Assistant to Ekiti State Governor on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka described the comment as an insult on the entire people of Ekiti.
Olayinka, who demanded an immediate retraction of the statement and apology by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, said Governor Fayose will not stand and watch anyone dragging the traditional institution in Ekiti State in the mud

I'm saying former couple because there's no way two people who are still together will put each other on blast on social media like this.

For those who don't know them, Pokello Nare (from Zimbabwe) and Elikem Kumordzi (from Ghana) met on Big Brother Africa: The Chase, last year and began dating. In May this year, Elikem proposed to Pokello at the Ghana Music Awards in Accra. But it looks like that 'great' love story has ended because they are fighting over some woman on Instagram.
