'I have had sex with five dogs' - 18 year old boy confesses

Posted: 17 Aug 2014 01:17 PM PDT

18 year old Ighodaro, an indigene of Edo state, was apprehended on Wednesday August 13th by the people of  Iguosa community in Ovia North East Local Government Council of Edo State and handed over to the police after he was caught having sex with a dog in an uncompleted building in the area.

Ighodaro, who was paraded before newsmen at the state Police headquarters in Benin city, said he's so far had sex with five dogs since he started in March this year..and doesn't know what makes him do it. The trained welder told Vanguard that two dogs he'd attempted to have sex with before had bitten him but he succeeded in sleeping with five. Continue...

"I learnt welding around Iheya. I don't know when I slept with the dog, I slept with dogs five times. Some of the dogs  bit me, I have been bitten two times and each time I have a dog bite my grand father will treat me", he said.
On how he goes about getting the dogs to have sex with him, Ighodaro said
"When I call them, I will be rubbing their head, petting them so that they will feel free with me. I will be playing with them and they will follow me. They will bark at me some times, and when I notice that it is serious I will leave them. Any one that is friendly with me, I take that one to an uncompleted building and have sex".
According to him, he had a girlfriend but they broke up last year
"I had a girlfriend last year but we are no longer together. I started sleeping with dogs this year around March. I don't know what is wrong with me. None of my relations knows I sleep with dogs. In this particular case, the dog is very familiar with me; so it was easy to lure it away. While I was having sex with the dog, one man saw me and ran to inform the Odionwere. They now came to pick me and they asked the police to go and check me and see if I have any disease. I don't know what is wrong with me". he said
Speaking on the incident, the state commissioner of Police, Folusho Adebanjo, condemned the act, saying that Ighodaro will be charged to court
"It was the people of that community that arrested the boy and called the police. He was taken to Owotubu Division before he was transferred to the state Police Command Headquarters. What he has done is classified under Unnatural Offences, Section 214 Sub-Section Two which says that any person who has carnal knowledge of an animal is guilty of a felony and he is liable for imprisonment for 14 years if he is found guilty. We are going to charge him to court. You can see that the guy is not denying anything. He made a confessional statement that he has been sleeping with dogs since March and he has done it five times. I was very worried because this is an unnatural offence and it can bring problem to any community. You can imagine a human being sleeping with a dog what will that dog produce in some months time; , you can see it is a bizarre situation. The boy looks normal unless if he has spiritual problem because I can't imagine some body sleeping with a dog. He said he had a girl friend before; you can imagine if he decides to sleep with another woman what he will give the woman and that is how they spread diseases particularly now that we have different diseases, It is really shocking that we experience this type of issue every day in our country. I am very worried but thank God that the community people have killed that dog because they said what the boy committed was a taboo" the commissioner said

Nivea slams Christina Milian over The Dream and Lil Wayne

Posted: 17 Aug 2014 08:03 AM PDT

Christina Milian must really like singer Nivea's leftovers, because not only did she marry Nivea's ex-husband, The Dream, and have a baby by him, she's now dating Nivea's ex, Lil Wayne. Continue..

Nivea took to social media to slam Christina for having a baby by The Dream (Nivea and The Dream have three kids together) and turning around and dating Lil Wayne, despite the fact that Nivea also has a baby by Lil Wayne making Christina and Nivea's children half siblings.

When fans tried to drag Niv for putting Christina on blast, Nivea explained her position. (above). And I kinda agree with her. This will be so confusing to the kids. Imagine if Christina and Lil Wayne were to have a child together.

Earlier this week Nivea posted a clip from a two-year-old interview her ex-husband Dream did with VladTV where the issue of Dream's other ex-wife, Christina Millian, not being concerned about Nivea having babies with both Dream and Lil Wayne, came up.

Nivea captioned the clip, 'Hmmmm...Drops the Mic...She's a #Scarecrow.

Dear LIB readers: My fiance insists I get pregnant before he marries me

Posted: 17 Aug 2014 05:51 AM PDT

From a female LIB reader
We've been together for two years and now we are talking about getting married. Only he wants me to get pregnant first. He said wedding preparations will start immediately we find out I'm expecting. I don't know if I'm OK with this. My friends feel its outright disrespectful, saying what it means is that he wants children and not me. I hate that he's insisting I get pregnant first, but i don't want to lose him. What should I do?

World’s most pierced man turned back at Dubai airport. See his tweets

Posted: 17 Aug 2014 05:38 AM PDT

Awww, not nice. Guess there are some disadvantages to being so weirdly pierced. 53year old German Rudolf Buchlolz, who is the world's most pierced man, was barred from entering Dubai on Aug. 15th and he took to twitter to share his disappointment. Continue...

The Information Technology, IT, worker who was recognized in 2012 by the Guinness Book of Record as world's most pierced man with 435 piercings plus two horns on his forehead, was billed to make an appearance at a hotel in Dubai but on arriving the Emirate airport, he was not cleared by the immigration officers. Instead he was immediately whisked into an Istanbul flight en-route Germany.
A spokesman for the hotel where Buchholz was scheduled to appear said its management had failed "despite all its attempts" to win permission for him to enter the emirate
Airport officials gave no reason why he was refused entry into the emirate. Rudolf who vowed never to return to Dubai, left his luggage behind in Dubai.

Eedris Abdulkareem says his new album is in support of GEJ & his administration

Posted: 17 Aug 2014 05:11 AM PDT

Rapper Eedris Abdulkareem was a guest on Channels TV's Sunrise programme yesterday Aug. 16th where he revealed that his forthcoming album titled G2G or G to G is mostly about asking Nigerians to stop the attack on Pres. Jonathan and leave him to rule. He believes GEJ has done well for Nigeria
"Since I was born a Nigerian growing up, I have always known that propaganda is the issue and they just share the money up and down. This Lagos-Ibadan expressway has been there for fifteen years by the former Minister of Works, Baba Tony Anenih and they didn't do anything .Goodluck is doing that road. That is the Federal government road, He is working on it. Our airport has been reformed. Thirdly our agricultural sector, farmers don't get their fertilizer directly but today they get their fertilizer, fertilizer is now a big business. So it is important we say all these things because most people don't know. We all know that the insecurity is propaganda. " he said. Continue...
Asked if his new crusade for GEJ is because he hopes to get something out of it, Eedris replied;
"I was was the first person that came out in the rally when Pres. Goodluck Jonathan increased the fuel price at Ojota. I have never seen Goodluck before but what I know is going on with that guy is a big propaganda and they should leave him alone let him work. When I sang jagajaga, did anybody pay me? If opposition paid me, by now I go don get plenty billions. So its simple, the facts must be told. When I sang Nigeria jagajaga, it was 12 years ago and this is 12 years later, so why is everybody blaming the poor guy? because he is from Niger Delta or because the presidency has left the north?" he said.
Eedris also criticized Nigerian artistes who pay international acts to feature in their songs. He said it's unacceptable and only happens because the Nigerian music industry is not regulated.
"The music industry is not regulated, it is an individual effort. People like Chief Raymond Dokpesi, Mr John Momoh and Kenny Ogungbe have sacrificed their personal money to take the music industry to this level. The music industry is not regulated. It is an individual effort. So it is important that the music industry be regulated so that our artiste would be paid their royalties, mechanical rights and all that. Don't forget, everybody that plays their songs don't pay them royalty. Some of them even go to the stations to pay people to play their music. International acts want to come because they know that their is money in Nigeria and we are not doing one thing right, we are not treating our artistes with respect and love. Why would you bring someone from America and you would pay the person $1.5m and you pay your own artiste here N10million and your artiste would be on stage for the next one hour and the person you brought from America would perform only 10minutes and he would leave. Why?
Because their industry is regulated out there and they get their mechanical rights. For example, do you know some of our artistes travel out there and they get to pay these international artistes money to feature in their album? Its not done. Americans don't do that. They come together and do a duet and they leave the rest for the management to bring in the money on the table but our own people would take their own money to go do that. Its crazy! So it is an individual effort. Artiste in Nigeria are not united" he said

Photo: Police recover, return N15m to Sokoto robbery victim

Posted: 17 Aug 2014 02:34 AM PDT

The Sokoto state Police command has recovered and returned N15million which was stolen from an unidentified man by a 5-man armed robbery gang at the Ilela border market in Ilela LGA of Sokoto state on June 1st.

Parading the suspects with the money recovered at the Sokoto state Police command headquaters,  DCP Douglas Agbonleni who spoke on behalf of the Sokoto State Commissioner of Police, Gambo Lawal, gave an insight on how the robbers were able to dislodge their victim of the money and how they were subsequently caught. Continue...
"The robbery operation was successful as they were able to dispossess their target of over N15 million cash at the Ilela border market, after firing into the air to scare people. We received the information at about 6pm on June 1 and instantly went on stop-and-search operation and our men at Rabbah local government found a black colour Volkswagen Golf car with registration number Jigawa AG 569 HJA along the forest route and apprehended three of the criminals while the other two escaped" he said.
The three robbers arrested were identified as Joseph Ohakin, ThankGod Sunday, Emmanuel Ugo (aka Ifeanyi). Apart from the money, other items recovered from them were weapons including locally made and foreign assorted rifles neatly concealed in the seats of the vehicle.

The Police said after they arrested the armed robbers in the bush, the robbers offered to give them the stolen N15million on the condition that they let them go, but the police men declined the offer. The police then launched a search for the remaining two robbers who escaped. A mobile phone which they used in communicating was used to track down the other two criminals.
"When the first three were arrested, we searched the vehicle and recovered the money, we discovered a GSM telephone and upon diligent investigation, we traced that phone to Kano and our detectives proceeded to Kano where we were able to trace the owner of that phone who was a member of the robbery gang and had escaped from Illela. We discovered that the telephone belongs to one Habibu Abdullahi (Alias 02). He is popularly called 02 in Kano. We picked him up and we knew that they were about five members in that gang. So after arresting and interrogating Habibu Abdullahi, the fifth member of the gang, Garba Ismail was traced to a suburb of Kano and picked up also. So all the five members of the gang that came here to rob at the Illela town have been picked up," he said.
The owner of the N15m stolen who was present at the press briefing confirmed he had received his money.

Omotola shares her success story, talks about being scandal-free

Posted: 17 Aug 2014 02:08 AM PDT

In this exclusive interview with Sunday Sun, award winning actress, singer & Amnesty International activist Omotola Jalade Ekeinde talks about her fears, being scandal-free and also shares her success story. Find excerpts from the interview below...
Can you give us tips on how to be a successful woman?
It actually starts with character, personality and what beliefs. Everything wrong today actually started from the content of a character. Are you immoral or are you straight forward enough to actually say something and carry through with it. Is the content of your character strong enough? I believe that for you to be great in anything, you have to be someone anyone can trust.you believe in. It stems from your moral. Continue...

Can you define what success means to you?
I think success is when God is happy with you. When the closest people around you are happy with you and when your soul is at peace with you.

Looking back, what has been your greatest achievement?
I have so many great achievements and I am very grateful to God. I can talk about great achievements today because God has empowered me to build my character. At no point did I see all these coming. I never said, 'let me start being a good girl so that in the future, they will call me to speak, not only on Nollywood but also in mentorship capacity outside Nollywood'. I never said 'okay, let me be a good girl so that Time magazine will make me a Time 100 woman'; I never thought about all these things. But by God`s grace, I am here today. He taught me to follow a particular life pattern when I was young. And I am grateful that pattern has brought me this far. My greatest achievement is that I got to know God on time; it was a great privilege.

Do you ever cry?
Yes, I am an actress and I cry all the time.

Could you share with us your fears and something that has made you cry lately?
Don't believe me when I cry because I might actually be trying to get something out of you (Laughter). My husband says he doesn't know when to take me serious, whether it's when I am crying or sober. But I am naturally a very emotional person, quite frankly. I hate injustice; I can't stand it. When I see somebody who is helpless, I feel like that person's humanity has been taken away from him and that makes me cry.

Can you tell us about the movies you have featured lately?
It's Blood in The Lagoon, a movie about social inequality. On the one side you have Makoko, a cesspool of poverty, deprivation and crime, and on the other side, just across the lagoon you have Ikoyi and Victoria Island's dwellers living in splendor and enjoying exotic lifestyles.

Where did you belong growing up, Makoko or Victoria Island?
Not practically but theoretically. Yeah, we have all gone through that sort of situation at one point or the other in our lives. Somebody has looked down on you somewhere along the way no matter who you are, and that's why I can relate with my character.

Tell us your own story?
At a stage, people looked down on me. They tried to deny me my credit and make me feel insecure. But you know you deserve what you get as long as you have worked hard enough. So, no matter what you are going through, you're not the only person facing tragedy in life; it happens to everyone.

When you look back, is there any role you played that you feel uncomfortable watching today?
There is always the need to improve. I mean… I hardly watch my own movies. I really can't; it will kill me. I can't watch my movies with people, especially my husband because I get on his nerves all the time. We'd be watching this movie and before you know it, I'd be chattering and he would be like 'hey, can you just shut up and let us watch the movie!' You know, I would keep saying to myself, 'oh my God! I would have turned that way; I shouldn't have said it that way. Oh my God why should I keep repeating that? Why should I keep blinking my eyes?'

What is the craziest thing a fan has done to you?
There are so many, as many as you can imagine. But my fans are very respectful and lovely and they could be very crazy too. But they have not done anything to harm me.

Would you allow your daughters to follow in your footsteps?
Why not, if they want to? I actually encourage them to be whatever they desire to be in life as long as it is not something wrong and negative. Currently, none of them is interested in acting, but if they do, I will support and equip them with whatever tools they need to excel. Unfortunately, none has for now.

What advice do you have for young people looking up to you?
Put in everything you have and believe in something. My point is that you should be passionate about something. Don't sit on the fence; we have so many people sitting on the fence. Most importantly, set high standards and connect to high self-esteem. We all need each other. We all need someone to help us up when we are down.

How do you stay scandal free?
People will always speculate about you and it could be very disheartening, especially when you have chosen to live right. I don't want to sound like some holier-than-though whatever, but I work very hard to keep my brand away from scandals. I have fought. I have had to and I will not accept for you to humiliate me before everybody'. Often they try to be mischievous but I stick to my guns. Oftenstand and say, 'hey! This is what I stand for times they have also turned around to say sorry. For heaven's sake, I am responsible for the actions and decisions that I take.

If not acting, what would you be doing?
Since I am not God, I don't know. But a lot of people say I should have been a lawyer.  And maybe I could have been one because I love to advocate. Or maybe, I could have gone into real estate business because I studied estate management; estate management would have come naturally.
What has fame denied you?
Fame has denied me a lot. I can't stop on the way and buy anything I want. I'm like, 'hey, give it to me' and they will rush over, give it to me and I will zoom off. Every celebrity has this challenge. It depends on who you are and how you want to handle it. I would like to go to the market and buy whatever I want but I can't. And I can't go around with bodyguards.

What is your favourite food?
No, I don't have favourite food. I eat anything I want to eat.

What determines your fashion style?
Comfort and how I feel.

What project are you working on currently?
Right now, I am working on building my film village. It's an awesome project.

MTO claims Beyonce's family member snitched to them about what's really going on with the couple

Posted: 16 Aug 2014 02:46 PM PDT

MediaTakeOut claims to have spoken to a member of Beyonce's family who wanted to clear things up and explain what's really going on in the power couple's marriage. The source supposedly said all the stuff in the media about Beyonce, Jay Z and reasons for the fight in the elevator with Solange are false and did the interview with MTO to clear things up. Erm, well, read for yourself below...

On Jay Z and Beyonce's relationship, in general:
[Jay Z is] a rapper so all that tough exterior is all a lie, he's extremely soft. Esp towards her. So the tabloids are wrong. He's not the controller, if anyone is, that's Bey. Jay is extremely jealous too. Hates to see her getting too close to men. And with her job, she can't help it so this causes problems between them. But they fight one day n the next day, they are all over each other, hugging, kissing and all that. Its sad that people say they are all about business because I've seen first hand how close they are.
On Bey's miscarriage:
Bey had another miscariage. Jay got mad because the dr said she was over working and she refused to slow down. This was the beginning of their problems. Jay told her to end the tour but she said she couldn't . . . the problems went on cos she won't end the tour.
The elevator incident:
That in no way had anything to do with either of them flirting. Though they had their issues. Solange has a very bad attitude. Bad temper n uses kinda mild drugs. Jay made fun of her bf and she was high so she started all that. Bey didn't step because they were aware that elevators have cameras and she kept telling him in there not to hit her back or do anything stupid cos its him the world will judge not Solange, that julius will handle it.
Jay felt embarrassed when it leaked n wanted to address it in the truth but Bey said they would be embarrassing Solange, wanting to get in her good books, Jay was cool with that.
On what's the current state of their relationship:
Bey stopped letting Jay touch her . . . So Jay got worried about their marriage n involved counsellors. She told him the marriage wasn't working n they should separate, he didn't want that cos that would mean she could date. And separations usually end in divorce.
He couldn't stand another man touching her. So Jay's [closest friends] advised him to get her pregnant. . . Things were still bad as at the first show, even the 2nd. After that things got better and she allowed him have his way, since then, they've gotten closer. Jay told [his friends] that the tour healed their marriage. And they are trying for their 2nd baby now.
Jay and Bey want to take a year off music and be a family. Well, that's that...

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) yesterday Friday August 15th said that it's prohibiting young athletes from the Ebola-affected region of West Africa including Nigeria, Guinea, Liberia and Sierre Leone from participating in certain events at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China, which will begin today August 16th and run till the 28th.

Athletes from West Africa, where authorities are battling an outbreak of the Ebola virus, will not be allowed to compete in combat sports or in the swimming pool, as it is impossible to rule out the risk of potential infection, the IOC and the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee said in a joint statement.
The rules will prevent a total of three athletes from the region from competing in those events, the statement said.
Those from the affected region competing in other sports will undergo regular temperature checks and physical assessments throughout the games, which begin on Saturday, the two committees said.
"We regret that due to this issue some young athletes may have suffered twice, both from the anguish caused by the outbreak in their home countries and by not being able to compete in the Youth Olympic Games," the IOC and organisers said.

The death toll from the world's worst outbreak of Ebola stood on Wednesday at 1,069, the majority of them in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia, the World Health Organisation said.
