| Joan Rivers stops breathing during surgery, said to be in critical condition Posted: 28 Aug 2014 10:59 AM PDT  Rivers, 81, was undergoing a throat procedure in a clinic when she stopped breathing. She was rushed to Mount Sinai hospital in New York where authorities said she's in critical condition. After her heart stopped beating during surgery, an emergency call was placed to 911 and the caller said, "We have somebody in either cardiac or respiratory arrest." TMZ said it's not clear if doctors were able to restart her heart. |

Angie and Brad's kids are said to have participated in the wedding. Her oldest two sons, Maddox and Pax walked her down the aisle, while their daughters Shiloh and Knox served as ring bearers. Congrats to them. |

| Deekay releases first official single 'Repete' Posted: 28 Aug 2014 05:03 AM PDT  About Deekay: Deekay is a true artist in every sense of the word .... From his catchy melodious harmonies and hooks to his intellect provoking lyrics and stylistic dance moves , DeeKay is the whole package. A performance artist - singer , rapper , songwriter and dancer ! Dennis King, known by his stage name of DeeKay is half Ghanaian and half Nigerian. Born into a family of five children where strong spirituality and importance in education was a priority. Growing up in both Nigeria and Ghana, Dennis excelled in sports, such as , basketball where he was MVP for two years in a row and football. It was also around this time that he began honing his performance skills and also served as the leader of the choreography team. While attending University, DeeKay then known by his former stage name of Arlaylay participated in the Channel O Sprite Mcee Africa competition, performed at annual fashion shows, homecoming (akwaba), and all the hall weeks on and off campus. After graduating from Takoradi Polytechnic with a degree in Building Technology and fueled by the positive and passionate responses to his early freestyles and music by his peers , DeeKay took the bold stance to pursue music full time. He partnered with a friend , Big Dele of Impeccable Entertainment and began working his various freestyles and songs within the Ghanaian market. It was then at a chance meeting with the young African superstar , David "Davido" Adeleke that the start of DeeKay's relationship with Davido HKN music began. Noticed for not only his musical talents but also for his dancing abilities and character, DeeKay began to work on a collaboration for the song "High Fever" with Davido. Released in early 2013 , "High Fever" was excitedly received by old fans and new fans alike. The various textures of the song and vivid lyrics made the song an instant hit. And was marked by a capacity filled autograph signing and release on location in Accra, Ghana. Soon thereafter , DeeKay dropped "Aunty Araba". An equally attention catchy piece with not only lyrics but moments of flowing melodies as well that further generated interest in him as an evolved artist. | Gunmen attack army camp in Bauchi, Commander killed Posted: 28 Aug 2014 04:53 AM PDT  According to reports by The Nation, the unknown gunmen arrived the camp in two motorcycles immediately after the early morning Muslim prayers and opened fire, killing the commander and the soldier. Wunti-Dada has been one of the known security challenge points within the state capital with a lot of unusual incidents. Both the Bauchi state Police Public relations officer and the the 33 Artillery Brigade spokesman have refused to comment on the development. |
