MTO claims they know why gang members tried to kill Chris Brown

Posted: 24 Aug 2014 08:29 AM PDT

There was a shooting at 1Oak nightclub last night in LA during a pre-VMAs party hosted by Chris Brown. Eyewitnesses claimed Chris was the target of the shooting and now MTO claims they know who tried to murder the singer and why. Find their report below...
Well here's what happened . . . allegedly. We ain't trying to snitch on nobody and get no one locked up either. Police need to do they're job though.
MediaTakeOut.com spies were in the building last night at the 1Oak party and it was a movie. Tons of celebs, and beautiful people too. But it all went south when a group of men tried to murder Chris Brown!!
You see, ever since Chris Brown got out of rehab - he's changed his lifestyle and his circle of friends. Our snitch explains, "Chris used to run with a bunch of gang bangers who were really scary. When he got out [of rehab], he cut them all off. I guess they're upset about that." Continue...
The inside snitch tells us that Chris was being THREATENED by his ex-homies . . . and they have been trying to EXTORT MONEY out of him for weeks. Well last night when Chris was at the VMAs it all came to a head. MediaTakeOut.com explained, "It was [Chris Brown's former homies] shooting. And they were trying to hit Chris."
Luckily we're told that the men were NOT GOOD SHOTS, and they shot people next to Chris in the VIP instead. Suge Knight was one of the people that were injured.

Footballer dies after being hit in the head by object thrown by fan after match

Posted: 24 Aug 2014 05:52 AM PDT

24 year old Cameroonian striker Albert Ebossé Bodjongo (pictured above) was killed yesterday Aug. 23rd, after being struck in the head by an object thrown from the stands by an angry fan after his team lost 2-1 in a home defeat during an Algerian league game.

Albert and his team mates were leaving the field at the end of a match between his club JS Kabylie and USM Alger in Tizi Ouzou, when an angry fan threw what is believed to be a rock.

Albert, who had scored the sole JSK goal, died a few hours later in the hospital. He was 24. Continue.

His club, JS Kabylie, published a statement yesterday on its website saying his death will be investigated.
'The Ministry of Interior and Local Government, speaking through minister Tayeb Belaiz, has given an instruction to open an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Albert Ebosse." The statement read
Kabylie captain Ali Rial told reporters that Albert died in his arms as he accompanied him to the hospital in the ambulance.
"I'm depressed, it's real drama and I do not know if I'll get over it. He died in my arms, I still cannot believe we have lost him forever. He was a good man, God rest his soul."
So sad! May his soul rest in peace...amen.

How to spot a fake Abuja big girl

Posted: 24 Aug 2014 05:13 AM PDT

Found this interesting article on Premium Times, written by Chinenye Ugonna. Read below and tell us if you agree...
If you have lived in Abuja for more than a year, you should understand the term "fake Abuja big girl" or FABB.
These are the girls who are usually very attractive, own all the Apple products in this world, live in N1million flats in Maitama, but if you check their background, their parents are struggling in their various villages.
Enough said, let me educate you. Continue...
1. Bleached skin and tattoos:
These days, most girls think they have to be "white-skinned" to be beautiful. They go as far as taking injections to perfect their skin. They then get tattoos to complete the look. These girls have to sell their market. When you check their background, their families are as dark-skinned as they come but these girls look more like Black or White era Michael Jackson.

2. Fake accent:
This is another common trait. FABBs roll their tongues like their lives depend on it. Every vowel, irrespective of the word, is followed by an 'R': Jos become Jors; Taxi, Tarxi; Abuja, Abujarrr.

3. Long 'human' hair:
If they do not have the Brazilian hair that reaches their butt, they haven't arrived. Picture the combo: bleached skin, fake accent and long Brazilian hair. Most of these girls don't even have up to N10, 000 in their bank accounts but they have to impress. All na packaging!

4. Own the latest android phones:
This draws me back to a Nigerian movie I watched weeks ago. Funke Akindele's character sold her bed just so she could buy an Android phone. She preferred to sleep on a bare mattress on the floor than use her regular Nokia phone just so she could impress the guys and catch "proper fish." This is exactly what FABBS do. They would own the iPhone 5s, S4, iPad. Before the iPhone6 is out, they already have it yet they don't have regular jobs. So where do they get all that money from?

5. Don't invite you to their houses:
FABBs never want you to know where they live; it would ruin the illusion of their prosperous lives. Picture this, as a guy, you meet this pretty light skinned lady, who owns all the nicest phone and tablets, maybe drives a car if the hustle is tight; long Brazilian hair and a little cash in their bank account. As a guy, you believe you are toasting or dating a girl who has money. So, why would she invite you to her "face me I face you" to spoil her packaging?

Everybody's hustle is different but that of the Fake Abuja Big Girl is the realest; take note

Chris Brown 'shot at', Suge Knight 'injured' during LA nightclub party

Posted: 24 Aug 2014 04:03 AM PDT

According to a breaking news report on Daily Mail and TMZ, singer Chris Brown was 'shot at' in the early hours of this morning at a pre-VMAs party at 10AK night club in LA. Chris, who was hosting the party, was not injured but music label boss Suge Knight was shot twice. Two others were injured, one of them said to be in critical condition.

According to Daily Mail, witnesses at the scene claimed that Chris Brown was the target of the shooting, but TMZ said they weren't so sure who the target was.

Model Tyson Beckford, and Black Eyed Peas member Apple de Ap, who were inside the party said they heard four gun shots.

After the shooting, Death Row Records founder Suge Knight, was taken to Cedars Sinai hospital where he's being treated. Continue...
From Daily Mail
The suspected gunmen were apprehended by police, as officers searched the nightspot for clues and quizzed revellers over the events of the night.
Roads around the nightclub were immediately sealed off by police, as the nightclub was evacuated, with several partygoers detained for questioning.
Guests at the event had also included singer Justin Bieber and rapper The Game.
Katie Clendon, thought to have been inside the club, said via her Twitter account that she thought Brown had been the intended target.
'Literally can't believe what I just witnessed. Someone tried to fire shots at Chris Brown at 1oak. Speechless. Prayers to all those harmed by this. Honestly still in disbelief this happened.' she wrote

From TMZ
Shots rang out at 1OAK nightclub in West Hollywood at around 1:30 AM Sunday ... and Suge Knight was shot twice and taken to the hospital by ambulance where he's currently in surgery ... eyewitnesses and Suge's family tell TMZ.

Tyson Beckford, Robert Richard and Apple de Ap all tell TMZ ... there were inside the pre-VMA party hosted by Chris Brown when they heard 4 shots ring out inside the club.

Suge walked out on his own power ... a cop spotted him and walked the rap mogul to the police car where Suge sat.  Suge was then put in an ambulance and taken to a local hospital.

We do not know the nature of Suge's injuries.  Multiple sources now tell us Suge was one of 3 people were were shot.  At least 1 is in critical condition.

The night started with tension.  An hour-and-a-half before the shots, Game came to the club and he and his buddies got into an altercation with security guards ... there was a full-on fight.  Game tried to get in was denied and left, but his buddies stayed behind.  We do not know if they were involved in the altercation.

Posted: 24 Aug 2014 02:20 AM PDT

The fiancé of late Justina Ejelonu, the First Consultant nurse who died on August 14th from complications from the deadly Ebola Virus has been discharged from the Ebola Isolation Centre, Sahara Reporters reports.

Dennis (pictured left) who turned himself in for observation after falling ill 14 days after his fiancée Justina died, was certified free of the virus and discharged from the Isolation center yesterday evening August 23rd after tests carried out on him showed he didn't have Ebola.

Narrating how Justina fell ill and later died, Dennis said Justina, who was two months pregnant when the illness started, began vomiting on him and then collapsed in his presence before he immediately rushed her to the hospital. He said while she was admitted at the isolation center, he hung around the hospital occasionally going into the Ebola ward to cater for her as nurses and doctors abandoned her to her fate at the treatment center.
Justina was the nurse who attended directly to Patrick Sawyer at the First Consultant Hospital.

Drake raps about missing Rihanna in new single

Posted: 24 Aug 2014 03:09 AM PDT

Drake is obviously obsessed with Rihanna. Not only did he whine publicly -many times- when she dumped him many years ago after sleeping with him, he's talked about her a few times in his songs.

The on again/off again couple, who are currently back on, spent sometime together earlier this year in Europe when Drake was on tour, but immediately they returned to LA, things were much different.

Their time together obviously meant something to Drake because he rapped about it in his leaked new song 'Views From The 6', the title track for his next album.

Drake talked about their time in Europe, how they stopped talking when they returned to LA, and even mentioned Rihanna's BFF Melissa Forde's name in the track. When Drake mentions Melissa in the track, a snippet of Rih talking is played! A man who is truly in love. Find the lyrics after the cut..

"Must remember waking up in Paris with the blunt/you must remember fucking me like anytime you want. What made us wanna act like we were married for two weeks. Now we're back in California we don't even speak. That's a no-no. Everyone say we look good on paper. You deserve that action. Plus you get more paper than I do. That shit is attractive. Things that make me miss you."

My marriage lasted for less than a month – comedian Princess

Posted: 24 Aug 2014 04:12 AM PDT

Comedienne Princess Damilola has opened up once again about her failed marriage, telling Punch that her marriage lasted less than a month and she fell ill and had to be hospitalized after her husband left her. Excerpts from the interview below...
You didn't say what was wrong with you that you had to be hospitalized?
But you already know. We thank the Lord. The most important thing is that I am alive and better. I appreciate life more. But this one you are asking, e no reach make I sick? After my husband left after our wedding, was it not enough reason for me to be sick? Ah! The Lord is our strength.
Why are you making fun of this?
Ah! I am telling you the truth o. The truth is that we all have challenges in our lives. I have always believed that the challenge is not the issue but how you get up and get over it. I was very down last year. It was my low moment. But with the help of God and the support of my family and friends, I am here now. I am happy.

Are you no longer depressed?
I was never depressed. I reacted like every normal human being would react if she embarks on a lifetime journey and it doesn't go as she planned it. But God has a reason for everything.
Are there times you wish you weren't a celebrity especially when you are linked with controversies?
The only time I felt bad about my fame was when my marriage ended. I felt if I weren't this popular; people wouldn't have talked about it. So many marriages crash on a daily basis but you will not hear about them. Some people have been married five times but you will not hear their gist because they are not in the eye of the public. People didn't know that the marriage had broken up until December when I felt I was strong enough to handle the publicity that it generated.
Were you shocked with the kind of publicity it generated?
I was shocked! People called me from all parts of the world including China. Some people cried while some people felt happy. Some guys said they were happy my marriage ended. Some said they were not happy that I even married the guy. Some said I looked older than him. Some said my marriage shouldn't have ended just like that. People talked and talked. But the only time you know your marriage is successful is when you live with your partner and God calls one of you home. Marriage of 30 years can still break up. It is a bad thing for a marriage to breakup. So you can imagine the unhappiness the parties involved would be going through. Nobody is happy when his/her marriage ends. Some people see me outside and ask, 'your marriage has ended, how do you feel?' I will answer them that I am jumping up or how else do they expect me to feel? Nonsense! A comedian once said that 'complete' and 'finish' appear to have the same meaning but they are not the same. If you marry the right person, you are complete but if you marry the wrong person, you are finished.
Were you in love with him in the first place?
I got married to somebody who I was in love with. At that time, he also said he loved me. Unfortunately, the marriage ended too soon.
Why?
It was due to irreconcilable differences. It is not a thing of joy. I don't think we should celebrate sadness and bad news. We should be more sensitive. No marriage should end but peradventure it does, don't make a mockery of that person. You are not even mocking the person, you are mocking God.
Are you giving it another shot?
No! Me ke? Let us struggle first and make some money. In any case, I think I should marry a Chinese or an Indian. If many people agree that I should marry a Chinese, then I will go ahead. But a Japanese might be better. Japanese products are strong and reliable.
Is your ex-husband still your friend?
I don't think you should call him my 'ex-husband' because we were together for less than one month. An ex- husband is somebody you marry and after three years or more, you separate. Anyway, I don't know where he is. We have moved on.
Are you happy?
I am happier now and I am better. I was happy before, the only thing that got me sad was that the marriage ended. I did one wedding and it didn't go well and I am alive. I should thank God. A lot of people lose their spouses just after a week of marriage. As long as you are alive, have hope. If God says I should marry again, I will follow His will. I have made my own attempt, let God make His own. I am sure he (ex-husband) is okay anywhere he is anyway.
Wasn't the break-up your fault?
No. it wasn't my fault. I can't really say it was his fault too. It was just irreconcilable differences. We met and we were in love and we quickly got married. Maybe we got married too quickly but I have seen people who got married a month after they met and the marriage lasted. Our own didn't work out. There is no need to apportion blame.
Do you still believe in love?
I have always believed in fairy tales and a knight in shining armour but my marriage didn't go that way unfortunately.
There is usually a stigma associated with women who are divorced, doesn't that bother you?
Stigma ke? That was before. Men can afford to have 20 children from different women. If your wife is abusing you and you cannot take it, my brother, please take a walk. If your husband is abusing you, take a walk. If it is like my own case that both of you cannot agree, you also need to take a walk before somebody wounds the other person. Death is final. So it is better to take off before it degenerates into death. I know somebody that separated from his wife and years later, he came back and begged her and they are back together. He, who fights and runs away lives to fight another day. Don't die there.
So what if your husband comes back?
No o. But like I said; he, who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day.

There is an epidemic of single mothers out there - Ali Baba says

Posted: 23 Aug 2014 02:27 PM PDT

In this piece he titled Singleton, comedian Alibaba expressed his thoughts on the challenges single mothers in Nigeria face and how they can overcome these challenges. Find the incisive piece below
Singleton
Every now and then, I meet and get messages, from ladies, who either lost their jobs, widowed, pregnant and no job, the guy who impregnated them absconded, or is around but doesn't give a hoot, or working but can't meet the financial demands of raising kids on their own, or the guy agreed to having the babies and to support with their upkeep... But things happened and he couldn't come through with the promised support. Continue

Single mothers are increasing in numbers consequent on one or two of the reasons mentioned above. And this always makes me ask, is it not possible to avoid being caught up in some of these tough situations? I know its impossible to know if you will be a widow and left with 2 or 3 kids to raise by yourself, as a mother. But when it happens, what is the solution?

Some ladies just want to have kids, because they attended a birthday party and they saw Kemi with her 2 lovely kids. They also know Kemi has no visible source of income. Wake up!!!!! Kemi has sources of income. Ruff n Tumble DOESNT dash kids clothes weekly... To be honest, you don't want to know what she does to make those kids look desirable enough to make you want to have yours. Maybe Kemi has a job. Maybe she has a rich husband. Or maybe she has a loaded boyfriend. Saved up wealth. She could be the "saving grace" of a guy who has been looking for a child. She may have rich parents. She could be a surrogate mum. Who bore the kids and is caring for the kids for the true parents.... Maybe, just maybe...

But, hey, nobody can stop you from wanting to have your own child or children. You ought to. And if they don't come naturally, adopt. There is no issue with that. Only problem is, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO PREPARE YOU FOR THE CHILD OR CHILDREN YOU PLAN TO BRING INTO THE WORLD? What are your plans towards taking care of them as they grow... Knowing that it cost more to bring a child up now than it did when our parents had us. That is not to say it was any easy on our parents. But hey, kids' fees these days for a single school term, is a total of alllllllllllllll our primary up to university fees, plus allowances.

So lets say your bobo agrees to you getting pregnant. And you got pregnant. And he bails on you. What will you do? Lets even suppose you have a job. What will you do when you resume after your maternity leave... Good Nannies cost a lot. Bad nannies even cost more. Minimum subscription for a nanny now is about 25k... That DOESNT include her upkeep and consumables... Abi she no go dey chop for the house?

Okay... Before you guys begin to say WHATS ali baba's own sef... Let me just say, I get whatsapp, twitter, Facebook and text messages from single ladies who are pregnant or have kids, but do not know what to do to take care of themselves, not to mention the kid or kids they have... Because of some of the reasons I mentioned in my first paragraph. I have helped when I could and advised when it's advice they want. But, with the access and opportunities social media has opened up, these request for assistance based on the challenges of raising kids by single mothers, have become a regular feature in my inbox, DM, whatsapp and even one on one.

So I ask again, what can single ladies do, that will prepare them for when the kids come and there is no bobo, sugar daddy, father, husband or the equivalent... Or do to support what she earns even when there is such a person who is a significant other?

DONT get me wrong o... There are ladies who can hold their own and even still put the guy who they are with on a monthly allowance. They are not "among of" what I am about here. So zip it.
I know someone will think I have nothing to do, that's why I am writing this... But trust me. There is an epidemic out there. It's not EBOLA but single ladies are going through this daily. And it's how to be a single mum and still hold your head high in the face of school fees, house rent, parental demands, sibling responsibilities, looking good, career pursuit, peace of mind, remain sexy and responsible,...

You may call me whatever... But soon you will be wondering why abandoned children are flooding orphanage homes..
