Next Movie Star Reloaded Winner Gets Star Prize

Akinwale Oluwafeyisekemi Ayomiposi has been presented with the grand Prize of a Hyundai IX 35 SUV for emerging the overall winner of the Next Movie Star Africa Reloaded 2013 at a winners party held recently.


Feyisekemi also won three Movie Contract and cash prize of Two Hundred thousand Naira for her effort while Ola Adebolu who emerged first runners up got Two hundred thousand Naira and a 32 inch LCD TV while  Nwanma Odefa got a 24 inch LCD TV and cash prize of a hundred thousand Naira.Magreth Vaeveni Shikuyele and Chimezie Imoh  the third and forth runners up  won cash prizes of a hundred thousand naira each. Making the presentation Mr. Kayode Akinmade eulogized Feyisekemi for her exploits during her stay in the Next Movie Star House which lasted for 30 days. He commended her intelligence, high sense of moral values,acting skills and an high level of discipline .
Akinmade commended her for being a true ambassadorof the people of Ondo State and Nigeria as whole and prayed  for her to succeed in her chosen career as an actress.
Akinwale Oluwafeyisekemi Ayomiposi,age19 is presently studing French in Ekiti State University,she  beat 18 other contestants from 10 African countries to emerge the winner of the prestigious "Next Movie Star" Reality TV Show.
The Next Movie Star Reality TV Show has discovered successful Stars in The Africa Entertainment Industry than any other reality show platform since it berth  in 2005.

President Jonathan officially launches 64-page e-passport

President Jonathan today officially launched and obtained the new 64-page e-passport. According to presidential spokesperson, Reuben Abati;
"The new 64-pg e-passport helps frequent travelers, it's gender friendly, forestalls identity theft, cheaper for the aged and low income earners, conforms with international best practices."
"Cost of new e-passport for below 18yrs and 60 years and above is N8,750; change of name as a result of marriage or divorce is also N8,750
"The existing e-passport is 32pp; new one is 64pp but it is strictly for frequent travelers. Please note, it does not invalidate the 32 pp"

President condemns terrorist attacks at Kano College and Potiskum

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan deplores the continuing terrorist assault on Kano and the heinous bombing of the Aminu Kano College of Islamic and Legal Studies today.
He similarly deplores the attacks on two mosques in Potiskum, Yobe State yesterday.
President Jonathan condemns the repeated targeting of worshippers, and   innocent students who are the nation's future by depraved terrorists.
He believes that the callous attacks on soft targets fully affirm that the terrorists are nothing but bloodthirsty adherents of a warped and retrogressive ideology.
No amount of intimidation and violence would stampede the government into abandoning its goal of giving education a new lease of life and opening up access to all young Nigerians who wish to improve themselves.
President Jonathan has therefore directed the Armed Forces, Police and other national security agencies to further enhance security around educational facilities in states prone to terrorist attacks.

Many feared killed as female suicide bomber attacks Kano Poly

Not again! Another female suicide bomber blew herself up at the administration building of Kano State Polytechnic this afternoon July 30th around 2.45 as students were checking their results in the school.

Kano State Police Command confirmed the blast, saying a female teenager blew herself up targeting prospective corps members who went to school to check their NYSC posting. They said at least two students died in the blast while 7 others were seriously injured and have been taken to the hospital.

Photo: Man stabs friend over N2,000 debt

The Edo state Police command has arrested a man identified as Oruma who allegedly stabbed his 20-year-old friend, Frederick Eze (pictured above), in the neck over a N2,000 debt.

Punch reports that Frederick, who was angry that Oruma had not paid his money, accosted him at the Oza area of the state & seized a property belonging to Frederick, who is an ice cream factory worker from Ebonyi state. A fight broke out between them and Oruma broke a bottle and stabbed Frederick in the neck.

Frederick lost conciousness after losing so much blood. He was rushed to a private hospital on a wheelbarrow after several cab drivers declined to take him.

Confirming the arrest, the Police Public Relations Officer, Edo State Command, Noble Uwoh, said, "He has been arrested. The two people in the matter are friends." he said

A new born baby was found laying dead in a dustbin at Hilltop Gate adjacent St Peters Chapel UNN this morning July 30th. No one around the area saw who dropped the baby. The area is mainly occupied by students from the university (UNN) so many believe that it could only have been a female student. See the pic after the cut... *brace yourself...it's too sad*

In an interview with Latina magazine, singer, reality star & Rob Kardashian's ex-girlfriend Adrienne Bailon said one of the things that affected her career was appearing on the Kardashian reality show.
"To be stuck with that Kardashian label, that was so hurtful to me and to my career. I probably realized that too late – not that it would've affected my decisions in terms of who I dated, but it would've affected my decision to appear on the show." she said
Talking about Rob, who was her first love, Adrienne said people still give a hard time for hurting him

Lagos LG Chairman picks TV presenter as 6th wife

The Chairman of the Ibeji-Lekki local government area in Lagos state, Hon Semiu Kemi Surakat has picked a TV presenter with the Lagos State Television, LTV, Kemi Fahm as his 6th wife, Encomium magazine reports.

Hon Surakat got married to the TV personality at a private court wedding which held on Thursday July 17th at the Ikeja marriage registry. This will be his sixth shot at marriage while this would be the second for Ms Kemi Fahm who is a single mother with two boys.

Mrs Kemi Fahm-Sukarat is the anchor of the LTV programme, Conference 57, which is dedicated to the activities of the 57 local government councils in the state. Reports say her husband has started showering her with gifts. He is said to have just moved her to a new apartment in Lekki and bought her a new car.

Orlando Bloom is such an agbaya...lol. The 37 year old actor has been filmed taking a swing at singer Justin Bieber, 20, early this morning Wednesday July 30th in Ibizi while out with friends.

According to TMZ, who obtained the video of the altercation, Justin and Orlando were in popular Cipriani Restaurant which was parked with other celebs including Diddy and Paris Hilton, when the confrontation happened.
"You don't see Orlando swing (in the video), but the eyewitnesses tell us that's exactly what happened. We're told Justin ducked the punch. That's where the video starts and you hear Justin scream, "What's up bitch?". We're told when Bieber left the crowd applauded." TMZ reports.

You see, back in 2012, when supermodel Miranda was still married to Orlando, Justin Bieber and Miranda, 31, met at a Victoria Secrets fashion show and there were reports back then that Justin and Miranda had a thing, a report nobody, including Miranda, ever denied.

About a year later Miranda and Orlando ended their marriage. In April 2014, Orlando was spotted hanging out with Justin's on-and-off girlfriend Selena Gomez.

After the fight this morning, Justin mocked Orlando by posting a pic of Miranda on his instagram page with a love icon and then quickly deleted it.

So if Orlando is confronting Justin, does it mean he really did hook up with his ex-wife, Miranda?
