Too much perhaps? Beyonce let it all hang out on the third leg of their 'On The Run' tour which held last night July 5th at Citizens Bank Park, in Philadelphia. While performing Partition, Beyonce wore leggings with the butt cut out. She wore a similar costume at their Cincinnati show last weekend.

This sad incident happened this afternoon. In fact, people are still gathered in the area as you read this

An Okada rider and his 2 male passengers were crushed to death this afternoon at Awoyaya bus-stop  along the Lekki-Epe Express way in Lagos as they were being chased by a police van.

While trying to escape from the police who were chasing them to seize their bike for riding on the express, the Okada, which was in high speed, collided with a BRT bus that crushed them to death.

According to an eye-witness, area boys gathered and burnt the police van. The army had to be brought in to calm the situation. See photos from the incident after the cut.. *warning - graphic content*

Neymar flown home to Sao Paulo by helicopter to begin his recovery

A day after he was ruled out of the remainder of the World Cup, Brazilian striker Neymar was flown to his home in Guaruya, Sao Paulo by medical helicopter to begin his recovery.

Neymar was first flown to Brazil's training ground in Rio where he had a tearful re-union with his team-mates, he then waved to hundred of fans and media before taking off along with his father.

The 22year old striker fractured a verterbra on Friday after Colombian player Juan Zuniga smashed his knee into his lower back. Speaking about the injury, a tearful Neymar said in a video
"My World Cup has not ended, it has been interrupted by a play but the tournament goes on and I told my team-mates to do everything in order to help me achieve my dream to be world champion,' Neymar said. See more photos...

Kano state Govt seeks death sentence for alleged killer child-bride

Kano state Government has filed a fresh charge of culpable homicide punishable by death against 14 year old child bride, Wasila Tasiu, who in April 2014 allegedly poisoned her 35 year old husband, Umar Sani and three of his friends in Kano, 17 days after she was forced to marry him. According to  Vanguard, the fresh charge was filed following an outcry by judicial practitioners who were against a juvenile court handling the trial of the 14 year old girl.
 
The three page charge document which was signed by a Senior official of the Ministry of Justice on Behalf of the Kano state Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice reads "Application to prefer a charge under Section 185(B) of the Criminal Procedure code Cap.105 Laws of Kano State 1991, signed on behalf of the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice by a Senior State Counsel in the ministry, Lamido A Soron Dinki, lined seven prosecution witnesses.  "By the power conferred upon the Attorney General of Kano State of Nigeria under Section 211(1) (a) (b)  and (c) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) and Section 7 of the Criminal Procedure Code Law Cap. 37 Laws of Kano State which delegate powers, I do hereby seek, under Criminal Procedure Code, to charge for trial of Wasila Tasiu".
"That you, Wasila Tasiu, 14 years, of Yansoro village , Gaya Local Government Council, on or about the 5th day of April, 2014, at about 14:30 hours, at Yansoro village, Gaya within the Kano Judicial Division, did commit culpable homicide punishable  with death in that you caused the death of four persons.

"Wasila Tasiu allegedly killed Umar Sani, 35, Hassan Alhassan, 25, Nasiru Muhammad, 13, and Indo Ibrahim, 12, by poisoning them with a rat killer substance in their food, with intention of causing their deaths and you hereby committed an offence under Section 221 (a) of the Penal Code Law of Kano State 1990, Cap 105." it read

Documents of the fresh charge has been forwarded to Wasila's lawyers while hearing for the new charge is billed for August 4th at the Kano State High Court Gezewa.

Update on police assault of pregnant woman in Lagos

Women's rights activists Dr Joe Odumakin has threatened to mobilize all pregnant women for protest if the police officer that assaulted a pregnant women in Lagos is not disciplined.
A clip which surfaced few days ago on the social media, showing a police officer identified as Arthur Okeke harrasing a pregnant woman with disregard for her condition has continued to attract more reactions.
The victim, Mrs. Rashidat Oyelowo Abdulmajeed recounted her experience while speaking to journalists in Lagos. She told of how the police officer conducted himself very embarrassingly. Find the video here
The victim stated that she was slapped and her hijab was also torn during the encounter on the bus with police officer, Mr. Arthur Okeke. 

She narrated that the policeman was in a seat behind the one she sat on the bus, and he officer leaned forward, resting his arms on guard of her own seat, but her back was also relaxed on same guard.
The woman said Officer Arthur Okeke ordered her to raise her back from the seat, but she had responded that it was meant for occupant of seats to rest their back on. Besides, she said, she told the officer that she was pregnant.

Officer Arthur began assaulting her thereafter.
"He pulled my hijab from the back and forcefully reclined my head backwards so that my head hung over", she said.

Her narration, which buttressed the visual spreading on the social media, included how the police officer ordered the bus to stop and also asked every passenger to alight so he'd torture her more. She said every passenger condemned his actions, but most of them were under trepidation he might harm them.

While the bus stopped,  the officer also called on another who was directing the traffic, on the road to join him in the act, but he was turned down. 

Reacting to the incidence in Lagos, female activist and president of Women Arise, Dr. Joe Oke-Odumakin who received the victim in her office on Friday, called on the Police Inspector General, Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed to take on the erring officer for disciplinary action.

Okei-Odumakin warned that the spate of police indiscriminate molestation of citizens is on the increase and moreso, unacceptable. 
"I trust the IG of police that he will take action on this and bring Arthur Okeke to book. But failure to do this, we will mobilize all pregnant Women and protest police brutality on the street for the sake of Mrs. Rasheedat", she said. 

Meanwhile, the Police Force has not said anything about disgraceful conduct of the officer, despite many communications to it about the incidence.

Severally, the video has been tweeted, tagging the Police authority on social media with the video, but no single response from the police came on it.

53 Boko Haram members killed after daring attack on military base

The Nigerian military released a statement today stating that they killed over 50 terrorists yesterday after a daring attack on a military base in Damboa, Borno state. Find the statement signed by military spokesperson Major General Chris Olukolade below...
Over 50 terrorists died as troops repelled a daring attack on troops' locations in Damboa, Borno State yesterday night.  The terrorists had stormed the troops' bases and police locations while most of the troops were out on patrol of surrounding villages.
A total of 5 soldiers and a senior officer were also killed while repelling the attack. A cordon and search of the locality is ongoing, while the bodies of the fallen soldiers have been recovered and deposited in the military morgue. The wounded are also receiving treatment in the military medical facility.
In another development, troops on patrol around Baga area have recovered explosives and rifles concealed in a truck loaded with fish and other commodities. Four suspects have been taken into custody in connection with the incident.

At Konduga also in Borno State, a suicide bomber in a Golf car yesterday crashed into a checkpoint killing himself, a policeman and 3 Vigilante Youth members.

An insider tells OK! that Jay Z and Beyonce have ceased all contact with pal Kanye West and his bride Kim Kardashian, who had spent the last two years pushing to get closer to the stars.
"When the rappers were on tour, Beyonce was forced to sit with Kim at shows and hang with her after, and she put up with it through gritted teeth," says the source.Continue...
Now the newlyweds have even been spending more time at their New York apartment, just two blocks away from Jay and Beyonce's home there, in a bid to get North to Bond with Blue Ivy. However, the insider says the superstars are fed up with being associated with the Kardashian brand.
"Bey and Jay feel like they've been dragged through the mud with all the drama surrounding their absence at the Kimye wedding," says the source, adding that Jay has actually been moving away from his former BFF for some time. "Jay made it clear to Kanye that he doesn't approve of the choices he's making in his personal life and it will end in disaster for his career."
