According to TMZ, Tupac Shakur's mum is getting divorced and her husband wants half of that Tupac money. Read report below..
Afeni Shakur filed for divorce against Gust Davis, her husband of 12 years. For some reason we're told the couple doesn't have a prenup. Afeni filed in North Carolina, where judges are not required to divide property 50/50, but rather on a case-by-case basis to determine what's fair.
They have lots of property and he wants, among other things, the right to live on their 50 acre North Carolina ranch and wants the keys to the houseboats. Gust, who's a minister, also wants to keep his sweet Jag. Gust also wants alimony. We're told the Tupac Estate rakes in around $900k a year, but according to Gust, after expenses Afeni gets around $20k a month. We're told he wants $10k a month for the rest of his life.
As for Afeni, she's been separated from Gust for a little more than a year. She's currently living on a houseboat in Sausalito, CA. Afeni has filed legal docs asking the judge to shut down Gust's alimony request.

Undisclosed number of policemen drafted from Akure, Ondo state for the rerun elections were in an auto accident along the East-West road near Akala-Olu community in Rivers State. The truck with registration number "NPF 5205 C" reportedly collided with a truck carrying cows. At least five cows died in the accident while dozens of policemen sustained varying degree of injuries.

Re-run election: Alleged APC thug arrested with a gun, fake police and military uniforms in Rivers State

The police today march 18th arrested an APC thug who was in possession of a fake police and military uniform in Rumuji, Emohua LGA of Rivers state.

The suspect told police that his name was Wilson and that he was promised N150k to disrupt the re-run election in Rivers state scheduled for tomorrow March 19th. Other items recovered from him include a gun, rounds of bullets, cash and six mobile phones.

Nigerian female football star, Asisat Oshola has joined Arsenal ladies. She's moved from Liverpool which she joined in 2015. Arsenal club manager, Pedro Martínez, while commenting on her transfer said

TIME magazine has recognised Nigerian-born American blogger Angie Nwandu, among the 30 most influential people on the Internet.
The 25-year-old who is behind the celebrity gossip site, "The Shade Room'" (TSR) came 20th, ahead of Kim Kardashian, Drake, Tess Holiday, Peter Bouckart, among others.
According to the international magazine, Nwandu, within two years, transformed TSR, an Instagram account and blog, to a flourishing media empire.
"As more and more of our own daily interactions happen online, so, too, does celebrity drama. And Nwandu, 25, has made it her business to capture it.
"Two years ago, she started TSR an Instagram account and blog that aims to be like Page Six for celebrities on social media: a chronicle of who likes whose posts, who comments on whose photos, and who starts following (or better yet, unfollowing) each other.
"Since then, TSR has become a burgeoning media empire, replete with its own tipsters, staff (there are now four full-time employees), and advertisers—all of whom serve an audience of 3.9 million. And counting'" the magazine said.

DSS claim on detained Ekiti lawmaker ridiculous, executive rascality – Ekiti Govt

Ekiti State Government has described claim by the Department of State Services (DSS) that it detained member of the State House of Assembly, representing Efon Constituency, Hon Afolabi Akanni for allegedly
committing security breach and that it was not aware of any court order on his release as ridiculous, height of executive rascality and open display of contempt for the rule of law.

Addressing the press on Friday, Special Assistant to the Governor on Public Communications and new Media, Lere Olayinka said the DSS should tell Nigerians "when Hon. Akanni committed those offences amounting to
breach of security? Did Hon. Akanni plot coup or is he leading insurgents to warrant his detention without trial?"
Olayinka, who was flanked by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Idowu Adelusi said as a result of DSS refusal to be served with the Court Order on March 11, the order was published in a national daily yesterday as directed by the court.
The government, which explained why it raised the alarm over Hon. Afolabi Akanni's possible death yesterday, said; "We wish to reiterate
that the State Government addressed the press yesterday, based on the information available to it and since the DSS was not talking to anyone concerning the status of Hon Afolabi Akanni and others in its custody, the government had no option than to bring the disturbing information to the public domain and also call for calm among residents of the State."

It said:
"From the pictures of Hon. Akanni that we saw on television and published in the newspapers, it is without doubt that he is terribly sick and in need of urgent medical attention, and the disturbing information about his death could have been informed by his critical state of health. Hon. Akanni even told journalists that he slumped twice yesterday and that he was refused access to medication.
"Evidently and as even reported in the newspapers today, the Hon. Akanni paraded before the press by the DSS yesterday was very sick.
The press reported that he could not stand on his feet and we wish to ask the DSS whether it actually wants him (Akanni) to die!"
"If truly the DSS has facts and evidences that Hon. Akanni committed offence of security breach, why not charge him to court and prosecute him with the facts and evidences before the service? Or is the DSS waiting for Hon. Akanni to supply evidences with which he will be prosecuted?
"If the DSS is claiming that Hon. Akanni is being held for committing serious security breach, why was the State Commissioner for Finance, Chief Toyin Ojo invited by the DSS? What is the correlation between Ecological Fund, claim of Federal Government refund to Ekiti State on construction of federal roads and State Security?
"For clarity, Chief Toyin Ojo was asked by the DSS investigators how much was refunded to Ekiti State by the federal government on federal roads constructed/rehabilitated by the State government and how ecological fund released to the State was spent. He was also asked how Governor Ayodele Fayose election was funded. How are these issues related to the security of Nigeria? What is the business of the DSS with the finances of Ekiti State?
"Also, former Special Assistant to the governor on Internally General Revenue, Ropo Ogunjobi is being kept in the DSS custody since March 4.
Did he also commit "serious security breach" or he is just being held to extract information as to the finances of Ekiti State in furtherance to the mandate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) gladiators in the State, who are working on what they called the "2006 Template"?
"Did Secretary to the State Government, Dr (Mrs) Dupe Alade, Chief of Staff; Chief Dipo Anisulowo, Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice; Owoseni Ajayi, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs; Kola Kolade, Commissioner for Works; Kayode Osho, Special Adviser on Political Matters; Alhaji Demola Bello and other officials of the State government already listed for arrest and indefinite detention also commit serious security breach?"

The Department of State Security Services has dismissed claims that Hon. Akanni Afolabi, a member of Ekiti State House Assemply died in its custody.
This was in reaction to claims by the Ekiti State Government that Hon Afolabi  who has was arrested last week is dead. Spokesperson for the Service, Tony Opuyo dismissed the claims in a statement read out to journalists on Thursday, March17, in Abuja. The lawmaker was also paraded.
"This press conference has become necessary in order to debunk a rumour which is being dangerously spread in Ekiti State by some mischief makers to the effect that Hon. Afolabi has died in custody. Nigerians and Ekiti people in particular are convinced to see that Afolabi is hale and hearty as he is being presented to the press today," said Opuiyo.

World’s most wanted ISIS terrorist reportedly captured in a Brussels terror raid

The most wanted fugitive from last November's Paris attacks has been captured in a Brussels shootout, Belgian newspaper DH has reported.
Belgian federal prosecutors confirmed that they found Salah Abdeslam's fingerprints, a prime suspect following the November 13 Paris attacks, in a Brussels raid on Tuesday.
The raid is still continuing in search of the two other men who were seen with him previously.

One person was wounded and possibly killed during a police raid in the Brussels district of Molenbeek today.

Abdeslam is currently being interrogated.

EgyptAir plane left with bloody dent after bird strike

An EgyptAir flight got into with a smash with a bird while coming in to land at London's Heathrow airport leaving it with a bloodied, dented, nose.
Photographs show how the creature left a large blood-smothered dent in the Boeing 737-800's beak.

Pilots landed the plane and its 71 passengers safely and while the fate of the bird is unclear, it is thought to have died.
The plane was grounded for a total of 21 hours so its radome, which protects the aircraft's antenna from atmospheric and physical damage, could be replaced.

A 19-year-old University of Nairobi student has been arrested by Police in Nairobi for allegedly killing her boyfriend and father of her unborn child on Tuesday, March 15, following a domestic quarrel at their home in Kangemi.


Kelvin Mugalla Ikatwa, 25, a Bachelor of Arts student at the University of Nairobi and midfielder for the National Super League side, Wazito FC who was fondly known as Razor, was allegedly stabbed to death by Sheila Atemi with a kitchen knife after they had a disagreement over a Facebook post.
According to Nairobi News, it is believed the spat was over a photo of another female posted by the deceased on his Fabook page.
According to Nairobi County Police Commander Japheth Koome, who confirmed the incident, "When the Police arrived, they found the man already dead and the woman was sitting next to the body of the deceased. He had been stabbed in the neck and the knife was also found at the scene."
The body was deposited at the Chiromo Mortuary awaiting pot-mortem as the police conduct investigations. Koome said the suspect was due to be arraigned in court and will be charged with murder.
"The girl has been arrested and is in custody. She will go to court for the wrong she has committed," Koome said.
She was arraigned before a Kibera court on Wednesday. The police asked the court to give them more time to complete investigations. They also told the court they intend to take her for mental examination.
In a press statement, the University of Nairobi's Wazito Football Club, mourned him as a polished midfielder who was disciplined and committed player since joining the team from Tena FC in 2012.
"Kelvin held Wazito in his heart and gave his all for the betterment of the club and his professional growth," the club added.
Head coach Francis Xavier, described Mugalla as a quality and professional footballer who had what it takes to play for the national team.
"This is a huge loss. We are depending on him to drive our midfield this season. I think he was on the verge of a breakthrough to a Kenyan Premier League team. In a season or two, he would have been Harambee Stars material," Xavier said.
He further revealed that they got the shocking news just as they were preparing for training.
"A Kangemi United player who lives nearby called me to confirm the sad news. Everyone was in shock and we stopped the training."
The club patron Solomon Alubala said: "He was not a temperamental person and when you see it getting to this point, then it must have been something very serious. We are saddened as a team but we will not say much because it is now in the hands of the police," Alubala disclosed.
Family and friends of Kelvin Mugalla are meeting at his home in Kangemi for burial arrangements. Condolences to the family were also shared by Sports Commissioner Gordon Olioch.
"I advise the youth to seek advice on their social problems from older siblings, close relatives and religious leaders. In the worse case scenerio you can quit the relationship".

Cancel that spectrum licence issued to MTN

These are interesting times for the Nigerian telecoms networks and their subscribers. While we are still on the sale of Visafone and its 4G LTE spectrum to MTN Nigeria, yet another controversy is brewing. Before he was sacked as Director General of the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), Emeka Mba had sanctioned the sale of the 700MHz spectrum – to the same telecommunications network, MTN Nigeria.
What bothers discerning stakeholders in the telecoms sector is the fact that NBC did not have the right to sell the spectrum which it has been directed to vacate. Rather, that is the responsibility of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), the regulator of the telecommunications industry, which is also given the powers to assign spectrum to telecommunications service providers.

These are some of the grave implications of this wrong action. · MTN now has more facilities to continue to dominate the Nigerian telecoms sector, killing competition and leaving subscribers with little or no choice. · By not keeping to NCC's policy of granting spectrums on fair and equitable basis, NBC has placed other competitors in a disadvantaged position thus stifling further growth of the industry.

All over the world – and also previously in Nigeria – spectrums are publicly auctioned. But this is not the case in the sale of the 700MHz band by NBC to MTN; thus the interest of both foreign and local investors in the Nigerian telecoms industry will begin to wane as they can no longer trust our regulatory agencies to make wholesale decision to provide a fair playing field for their investments to thrive. The Nigerian telecommunications subscriber must not be allowed to suffer a disadvantage by this anti-competitive decision of the NBC.

What has made the Nigerian telecoms industry grow faster than it was envisaged is the vivacity and the diverse options and innovation which were driven by competition. We can't afford to lose that now. In the interest of stakeholders in the industry and the Nigerian economy, the Federal Government should order the NBC to cancel this transaction and release the 700MHz spectrum to NCC in line with the ITU agreement.
