Miami Heat player Chris Bosh and his wife Adrienne have welcomed their twins. Back in October last year, the NBA star and his wife revealed that they were expecting twins due in spring 2016. The twins are here and the excited parents have shared first photos of the boys whom have been named Pheonix Avery and Lennox Noel. Rivers govt deny arrest of Wike's COS, says he was attacked by gunmen and ran into DSS office (photos)

River State Government has debunked claims that Governor Wike's Chief of Staff, Chukwuemeka Woke was arrested over an attempt on the life of NIMASA DG, Dakuku Peterside. The statement issued by Senior Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Social Media, Oraye St. Franklyn claims that it was actually Chief Woke who was shot at by Dakuku's security agents.
 
According to what they said, Chief Woke was driving along Forces Avenue, old GRA, Port Harcourt when the vehicle he was driving in was shot at by security agents attached to Dakuku. Woke sped into the compound of the Department of State Security Services (DSS) in order to escape his attackers. (pictured is Woke talking to the press at the DSS office)

SAHARA REPORTERS AND THE INVOCATION OF THE ABSURD TO EXCUSE DAKUKU'S CULPABILITY
The infamously dubious online news medium, Sahara Reporters in its characteristic nature has issued an absurd report of pure falsehood riddled with undiluted malice and mischief to malign the character, name and reputation of Engr. Emeka Woke, the Chief of Staff Government House, Port Harcourt, purporting that he carried out an assassination attempt on the life of Dakuku Peterside, the defeated Rivers State APC Governorship candidate.
Nothing can be more bespeaking of the grandeur of the absurd. The narrative concocted by Sahara Reporters is intended to excuse the evil plots of the cultic characters that parade themselves as leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State.
There's absolutely no way, the Chief of Staff who moves without security can effectively commandeer the assassination of Dakuku Peterside, who himself invaded the Mile 1 Police Station in commando style today to release a detained corrupt INEC official with a little less than 100 soldiers on this very day. It is just unthinkable.
The most presumable fact is that Engr. Emeka Woke must have been believed to be conveying the election results from his home town Emohua to the INEC headquarters in Port Harcourt prompting the evil attack on him to retrieve the papers. This is the only logical consequence, given the fact that a similar attack was carried out on an INEC van along Airport road today by men loyal to Rotimi Amaechi and Dakuku Peterside.
It is therefore the most depressing evil for Sahara Reporters to present a false account to the public when an innocent man is battling for his life.
The desperation being shown by the Rivers State APC should not be given cover by misleading and false news headlines. The entire country has seen that the trio of Rotimi Amaechi, Dakuku Peterside and Ibim Semenitari are at the heart of the ensuing violence and restivity in Rivers State in a bid to win the Court-ordered rerun elections at all costs.
Sahara Reporters must endeavour to be a true partner for social reengineering by promoting truth and justice rather than make itself available to the dictates of fat-chested warmongers. The entire story as reported by Sahara Reporters is false, baseless and inciting anarchy in Rivers State. The Chief of Staff, Government House, who is a victim of gunviolence should not be victimised by might of pervading media. Truth must be protected and promoted.
Dakuku's security attacked the Chief Emeka Woke. Dakuku Peterside knows this to be true which is why he was prompt to claim assassination on his part, having reasonably failed to apprehend the Chief of Staff. Dakuku Peterside must be invited for questioning on the matter and it is condemnable and most unconscionable that he claims to be a victim of assassination in spite of the army of security at his beck and call including the dare-devil FSARS, DSS, Police and the Military; the magnitude of which no Nigerian Governor is privileged to have.
The state of the Chief of Staff is unknown. He was not arrested by the Department of State Security. We call for prayers for him."

According to a report by Sahara Reporters, Governor Wike's Chief of Staff, Chukwuemeka Woke was arrested over an alleged attempt on the life of NIMASA DG, Dakuku Peterside. Below is how they reported it...(Above is a scene of the accident)

The Department of State Security in Rivers state has thwarted an assassination attempt on Peterside Dakuku, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in last year's guber election in the state and reportedly arrested ChukwuEmeka Woke, the Chief of Staff to Governor Nyesom Wike for leading a killer squad in two Sport Utility Vehicles that trailed and opened fire on Mr. Dakuku.
According to a press release issued by Mr. Dakuku's office, the gunmen trailed him from Aba Road as he drove towards his house in the GRA area of Port Harcourt, but as his car made to turn towards the GRA entrance to his home, the gunmen drove aggressively hoping to overtake his car. 
Mr. Dakuku then changed course and drove to the state headquarters of the DSS as his security aide had already radioed for help.
Soon as Dakuku was allowed into the premises of the DSS, officers at the gate reportedly opened fire on the two SUVs trailing him and succeeded in demobilizing the care and got some of the occupants including Mr. Woke arrested.
One of Mr. Dakuku's security aides was seriously injured as a result of exchange gunfire during the thirty-minute long encounter.

50 Cent and The Game seem to have squashed their beef

The Game and 50 Cent seem to have put their squashed their beef, because according to TMZ, last night the duo partied at the Playhouse in Hollywood.  The Game in a 'drunken' state had hinted on reconciliation when he shared a heartfelt letter on his page telling 50 Cent he wanted to hang with him again. 

The promoter of the club said The Game had called to say he wanted to party there when he heard 50 Cent was there and they told him it was ok.  When The Game got there he got a bill of $7,800 on drinks, a bill he showed off on his page.
Even though both rappers were at the same place, there was no photo to show that they interacted.

Woman shares photos of horrific allergic reaction to hair dye which left her unrecognisable

Instagram user, Chemere Armstrong had a severe allergic reaction after using a Henna hair dye. The photos she posted shows her face swollen and her her eyes completely shut. In the caption of the photo, Armstrong who is also a a health and fitness vlogger describes the scary ordeal;



"If you been following me for a while you know that I tried to be as transparent as possible. You will also know that my 100 days of just juice and smoothies has been very important to me. Today is day 100!!! The past couple of days has been extremely rough. I mention before that I die my hair with Henna because of my research and what I was told that it was supposed to be completely natural and chemical free but it wasn't and I had a severe allergic reaction as you can see from the pictures. I'm not posting this for any advice or any negative comments. I'm fully aware of what these pictures look like. I had to endure this nightmare. If you do not have anything nice to say please keep strolling. I want to let everyone that pray for me or send me well-wishes know what was going on. I was in severe pain from my scalp burning and itching with my face completely's swollen to the point I was unrecognisable. The most scary part about this whole thing is that my eyes was completely swollen shut where I couldn't see for 2 days. My doctor was afraid that it was going to start affecting my breathing which that didn't happen and as of today my eyes are open and I can see again but my face is still very swollen (I don't look like myself). I'm not in any more pain and I feel things are heading in the right direction. I hate that this had to happen but now I'm even more focus on making sure that my health is number one priority. Once I get back to looking like myself again I will make a more detailed video on my YouTube channel. Thanks again for all the love, support, and well wishes."

Cameroonian woman commits suicide over her lover's infidelity by jumping off a high building (photos)

A heartbroken Cameroonian woman yesterday, March 19, committed suicide by jumping off a high building in Lebanon. According to Cameroononline, the woman killed herself after she found out that her partner was unfaithful. The man in question apparently tried to pull her back but unfortunately she slipped from his hand and dropped to the pavement below.

A woman identified as one Mrs Vivien Obodo (pictured holding a wrapper) has been accused of physically assaulting her 9-year-old housemaid. According to Salma Ajuma Okpanachi, who shared the photos, Mrs Obodo punished Chidimma by making her chew pepper, and has punished her other times by cutting her scalp with blade or applying grounded pepper all over her body. "Chidinma is only 9 ... From Nsukka to kaduna by Mrs Vivien Obodo December last year . Chidinma was to look after a 3 month old baby girl but Chidinma is only a child herself each time something goes wrong Chidinma gets purnished either by chewing pepper or pepper being rubbed all over her . Hot water has been poured on her , cut with blade on her scalp ... Chidinma had no clothes and not allowed to use the family toilet ... This case eventually got to The Honorable Commissioner women's affair kaduna ... Chidinma's dad was asked to come to Kaduna which he did .. At the time he came he want the Ministry to stay off the matter as he claims its "family " matter . Well in the end Vivien was given a warning as she is pregnant and in her last trimester and a youth corper serving at kaduna prison. Well case close you'd think ? No ! On the way back chidinma told her dad more and even more .. Now the matter is now with the Village head .. Chidinma's dad is very upset . Rivers State re-run election held yesterda, March 19, was characterised by widespread violence. A respected PDP chieftain in Buguma, Chief Gabriel Amachree (pictured) was gruesomely murdered by alleged APC thugs led by OJukaye Flag Amachree. The deceased reportedly tried to advise the suspect to slow down with the violence.

An immigration officer was shot dead at a registration centre at Abalama in Asari Toru Local Government Area following attempt by thugs to hijack electoral materials. The thugs arrived on three Toyota Hilux van and opened fire. The officer died instantly while dozens of voters sustained severe injuries.
At Abonnema in Akuku Toru L.G.A., youth shot sporadically and detonated dynamites after a fight broke out between APC and PDP supporters in an attempts by both groups to snatch election materials.

Four persons were reportedly killed at Buguma, headquarters of Asari Toru while heavy shooting was reported in Degema which forced voters, journalists and INEC officials to desert polling units.

At Ward 7, Unit 4 in Nonwa, Tai L.G.A., a young man identified as Tomabari was shot and killed shortly after casting his vote. Another voter was killed after astray bullet hit him at Rumuokuta roundabout.
In the Ogoni area of Rivers South-East, four persons were feared dead, as tension escalated following the late arrival of voting materials. Two ther persons were reportedly shot dead in Abua/Odual and Ahoada West L.G.Areas allegedly by the military.

Congo Presidential elections: Telephone, internet and SMS services shut down for 48hours

All forms of media and communication have been shut down for 48 hours in Congo's presidential election as President Denis Sassou Nguesso aims to prolong his 32-year rule over the oil-rich but economically poor African nation.
Interior Minister Raymond Mboulou wrote to telecommunication companies urging them to shut off telephone, internet and SMS services for 48 hours for "reasons of security and national safety".


AFP News agency said a government source told them that the media blackout was to ensure there was no 'illegal' publication of Sunday's results.

The president, Sassou Nguesso  has said he has no doubt he will beat his eight rivals, describing election day as a "penalty kick and then victory".

Majority of Congolese citizens want a change of government but the efforts of the opposition were hampered when a public referendum backed removing a two-term limit that would have kept 72-year-old Sassou Ngeusso from power. The vote also removed a 70-year age limit for the presidency ensuring he could contest in this year's elections.

Another building collapses in Lagos killing 1 person and several others injured

Tragedy struck again in Lagos yesterday, when a building  at No 9, Alli Close, Mile 12, partially collapsed and killed a 47-year-old woman with several other residents injured, According to an eyewitness, a part of the balcony in the building had caved in, but the residents of the building refused to vacate the place.

Mr. Michael Akindele, General Manager, Lagos State Emergency Management Authority, LASEMA, said preliminary investigation confirmed the death of the woman, and that no other fatal casualty was recorded.

He added that the residents of the 18-room-building had been evacuated and the site sealed off. The owner of the building has been summoned to the state Secretariat, Alausa Ikeja for questioning.
