My siblings and I also sang most times before Dad preached. With not much for a child to bother his mind about, I started playing the trumpet at age 12 and became a multi instrumentalist by 14. While a budding musician, I had taken very active lead roles in church choirs, set up a couple of bands and singing groups. As a multi instrumentalist, song writer, music director, worship leader of many years and now Presiding Pastor of House of David Ministry International based in Abuja, Nigeria, I have been faced with the task of one on one counseling/ministering to people with different personalities, various backgrounds, diverse walks of life, divergent ideologies, my reflections about life and knowledge of God deepen daily. Reminiscing about life generally and zeroing in on Angel Gabriel's discussion with Mary about the Saviour's birth, made me conclusively agree with scriptures that THERE IS NO IMPOSSIBILITY WITH GOD. It was brandished upon my soul that indeed MY CASE IS SETTLED. Thus, I began to strum my guitar and OUT flowed the lyrics and music of this song. | I give El Rufai 14 days to retrace his steps or face the wrath of God - Dr Chris Okafor Posted: 26 Mar 2016 11:52 AM PDT  The man of God started by reading out the details of the proposed bill from a mobile phone and then he screamed, "El Rufai, Herod, leave the church alone!" He then went on to explain the potential anti-christian implications of the bill and warned that El Rufai was only being used to test run something that would later become a bigger plan to Islamize Nigeria, and that if El Rufai is left to go ahead with the bill unchallenged, that at least five more Northern States will follow suite, then all the Northern States and finally, the rest of Nigeria. Before his congregation of several thousand worshippers and on live television viewed by millions of people in more 160 countries around the world, he sent a strong warning to Governor El Rufaideclaring "It will not happen in my time…it will not happen in your time…it will not be on record that it happened in my time…No! It will not happen!" to a thunderous applause from the congregation. He then continued "El Rufai take time! God is angry with you! You have 14 days to reverse that law or the wrath of God will come against you! You should count it, 14 days from today (March 20, 2016), he has 14 days to reverse and invalidate that law… if he refuses to do so, he should expect the wrath of God to visit him! Speaking to journalist who thronged the worship center upon the declarations, the man of God said, "I prayed very well, and the Lord told me to go ahead and warn El Rufai. And I want you all to count 14 days from the day of the prophecy (March 20, 2016). If he does not retrace his steps and abandon that bill, God will take steps to honor His words. 14 days! | Photos: Fire guts Birnin Kebbi Central Market, goods worth millions lost Posted: 26 Mar 2016 11:35 AM PDT  Shops and goods were razed in an early morning inferno which razed 60% pf Birnin Kebbi Central Market. According to Kebbi daily, the fire began around 12.45am on Saturday, March 26. Fire fighting vehicles, personnel from Kebbi State Fire Service and shop owners battled with the inferno until early afternoon.  Security was heightened in and around the market to prevent hoodlums from looting the trader's properties. Some shops were successfully evacuated at the beginning of the inferno. The Kebbi State Government commiserates with all the traders affected by the fire, adding that it 's a monumental loss to the people and the state. Officials from the state government, led by the Chief of Staff of the government house, Alhaji Suleiman Argungu, and the Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Mohammad Bashar, visited the scene to commiserate with traders who lost their goods and properties. An ivestigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire.          | ||
