| Delta Airlines Lagos to Atlanta flight makes unscheduled stop in Senegal Posted: 10 Jun 2014 12:18 PM PDT   A Delta Airlines flight going from Lagos to Atlanta yesterday June 9th was diverted to Dakar Senegal after a threat was detected on board the flight. A passenger who tweeted about the incident said another passenger on board seemed to have smuggled a bag of dynamite on the plane. Speaking about the diversion, Delta Airlines Director Corporate Communications, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Olivia Cullis, said the flight was diverted to Dakar for "precautionary reasons"...

 The search for Nigeria's next superstar started in January with auditions in 4 cities in Nigeria. Many got dropped from the audition stages, to the top 100, top 30 and top 12 eventually all but Evelle had to leave the competition.

| Pics of BH men killed + weapons and cars recovered after battle with military Posted: 10 Jun 2014 06:51 AM PDT   Yesterday the Nigerian military released a statement saying they foiled an attack by Boko Haram men in Adamawa and Borno state on Saturday which resulted in the death of 50 of the sect men. Presidential Spokesman Reuben Abati this afternoon posted some pics of weapons recovered after the battle on his instagram page. He also shared a pic of some of the Boko Haram members killed. Among the weapons recovered are 3,500 rounds of ammunition, 6 smoke grenade canisters, locally fabricated guns, 30 rifles, 36 hand grenades, 7 machine guns and 11 rocket propelled grenade tubes. A family member said the men then took the girls after they finished robbing the home, put them in the booth of their Honda and left with them.
