Sanusi's wife, who is late Emir of Kano's daughter opens up on their love story Posted: 17 Jun 2014 01:18 PM PDT New Emir of Kano and former CBN governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has two wives, one of them (his first wife) he's been married to for 25 years...and this post is about her. Sanusi married Hajia Sadiya (nee Ado Bayero - pictured above) the 7th daughter and 16th child of late Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero in the 80s. Hajia Sadiya, who rarely gives interviews, has finally opened up on how she met and married Sanusi. Below is what she told Hausa mag, Aminiya.. "I knew I was going to be betrothed but I didn't know when since I wasn't being asked when. I met my husband through my own family - he is like my brother. He grew up in the Emir palace and I thought he was my elder brother because he was always with my older brothers. I grew up seeing him in our house so I was surprised when he started to show interest in me. I later discovered we were not related and married him. On her successful marriage and motherhood "I thank the Almighty Allah for the great gift of children. When I married him, I didn't have a child immediately till about three years later. When we had our first son, we were filled with joy. As for marriage, staying married has to do with patience and obedience - these two have helped my marriage. Your husband should always be the head of the family no matter your status "On her most memorable day "My joy was when my husband was turbanned because we looked forward to it but it came when we least expected it. I was so full of joy that day."FYI: Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is the grandson of Sir Muhammadu Sanusi, the 11th Emir and 54th ruler of Kano. |
Cassie sparks baby rumors after posting suspect pic on instagram Posted: 17 Jun 2014 12:38 PM PDT Diddy's main chick singer Cassie set off pregnancy rumors after posting pictures of herself with a fuller face and bulging belly on her instagram page. (pic on the left) After her fans began to ask her if she was pregnant, (especially because she was spotted leaving a fertility clinic with Diddy a few weeks ago) Cassie replaced the picture with one that cropped out her belly. When blogs started to report that she was pregnant, to shut down the pregnancy rumours, Cassie posted the picture on the right wearing the same swimsuit but this time showing a flat stomach. The problem is, the boobs in the second picture don't match and the hair don't match and people just were not convinced that she's not pregnant. Well, time will tell! |
Dear LIB Readers: My hubby says he's tired of my body..now looking for a man who wants it Posted: 17 Jun 2014 10:21 AM PDT I caught my husband cheating and instead of covering up, he straight up told me that he was tired of my body and everything else about me. He told me that yes, he loves me and always will, but that I was old, fat and basically worn out, lol. No lie! The lol is not because I find it funny just unbelievable! I married him when I was 24 and now at 41 I am worn out? Worn out from giving him children and taking care of him for 17 years? Well, I accepted that and with grace I asked him for a divorce but he's insisting on staying married but says he can't be faithful, that he would rather be sincere with me than lie. Well, I'm thinking I should stay married like most women in Lagos who are tired of their marriages are doing but do same thing that my husband is doing; that is find a man who doesn't find my 41 year old body so worn out and make him my lover. He can't be having all the fun, can he? What do you think? |
