Why I am Suing Morgan Entertainment - Emeka Morocco

Dr Prince Emeka Morocco Maduka has filed a lawsuit against his CEO Emeka Morgan Nwanne Oguejiofor Jr. Issues started between the duo after the death of Chief Ozoemena Nsugbe AKA Ayaka Igbo Nine. The Eze Egwu Ekpili of Igbo land Dr Morocco Maduka, the most senior artiste at Morgan Entertainment last month traveled to United States of America for an all expense paid medical checkup which he is entitled to. He however requested for a meeting with the US Based CEO who stopped the release of his tribute song to late Dr Ozoemena Nsugbe and also his album.


Morgan Entertainment claims that the reason for stopping the song and album is because it attacked the CEO Emeka Morgan and revealed a lot of things unknown to the public which was meant to be released on the 28th of January 2015. Morgan Entertainment management stated that Morocco's contract will be terminated if the King of Egwu Ekpili does not withdraw the court case without trying to resolve the matter internally.

Several people including The new King of Highlife Onyinye Osita Osadebe. He said " Morgan Entertainment is a founding father of Igbo music and the record label has done so much for us and they deserves some respect. The new King of highlife also said that Prince Morocco Maduka is our father in traditional music he also deserves some respect."

Prince Morocco Maduka insists that the tribute song for late Ozoemena must be released by January 28th 2015.Prince Morocco Maduka is claiming 150 million Naira for early termination of his contract. According to Morocco "the reason behind the CEO's refusal for releasing the tribute song is because it could crush his political ambition. He must release my songs or I continue with the court case".

Postpone next month's elections - NSA Dasuki tells INEC

National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission to postpone next month's general election so that the commission can completely distribute the Permanent voters card to prospective voters.

Dasuki gave this advice while speaking at London think-tank Chatham House today January 22nd. He said a postponement within the three months allowed by the law would be a good idea so that all issues bordering on the distribution of permanent voters card as well as elections holding in some part of North eastern Nigeria would be adequately addressed.

Youths stone minister, others at Pres. Jonathan’s rally in Bauchi

Restive youths in Bauchi state this morning attacked PDP campaign delegates, including the Minister of the FCT Senator Bala Mohammed, with stones, slippers, hammers, sachet water and other objects at the party's presidential campaign rally which held at the Ibrahim Babangida square in Bauchi the state capital.

According to reports, the youths arrived the venue of the rally singing their support for GEJ but immediately he and his entourage arrived, they started stoning and attacking members of the party.


They destroyed canopies and began chanting songs in support of Gen Buhari. The Police detached to the stadium found it hard to disperse them as they were large in number. FCT Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed, was stoned with sachet water while making his speech at the event.

The Minister in the course of his speech pleaded with President Jonathan and other party members not to take the embarrassment seriously as it was part of politics, stating that attack by the youths was the works of the opposition. Others at the podium had to dodge so as not to get hit with the different items thrown. When the Minister shouted "Nigeria", the crowd shouted back "sai Buhari", "sai Baba Buhari", others chanted "Bama yi," "Bama yi", meaning we don't support PDP.

Team Fashion & Team Football in fierce makeover contest in Malta Guinness Game On

On this week's episode of Game On, both teams now with four members apiece, strove again to determine who would come out on top in this engaging series powered by Malta Guinness to fuel the rise of the Naija passions. The contestants were challenged to uplift their community and show that passion can also impacts on one's environment. 



For Team Fashion, the task was to refurbish a boutique, design and create ready-to-wear clothes as well as organize a runway show to show case the designs. Team Football on the other hand, was divided into pairs and challenged to costume and coach two teams of amateur footballers into more disciplined sides as well as upgrade a football facility within the community.

Team fashion got to work together with their captain, Lanre Da Silva Ajayi, putting out eclectic designs that became the framework for magnificent dresses. They were assisted by some tailors from the community as well as models to showcase their designs.

Daniel Amokachi led team football to work on giving the RazakBalogun pitch in Surulere a makeover and organized two sides that played an enthralling match with the players energized by the goodness that only Malta Guinness brings. The match ended 1-1.

Football fans, fashion lovers and other members of the Surulere community who turned out to watch both the runway show and the football match voted for the winner – but this time, it was a tie!
"The work both teams put in was so impressive and we are glad no one had to go home at this stage. Your enthusiasm is so infectious!" said Da Silva who was happy with the work her team put in.






The show airs Sundays on AIT and Spice TV 5-6pm. NTA 4.30 -5.30pm. Watch also repeat broadcasts on ONTV, Thursday 6.30 – 7.30 pm and on Sound City on Saturdays 7-8pm.

A popular Pharmacist in Gboko Benue named Cletus Ternenge Labe (pictured above), the founder of La-Bet Pharmaceuticals was assassinated by unknown gunmen at about 7:45pm yesterday January 21st right inside his pharmaceutical complex. 

According to a direct relative who spoke with LIB, Cletus got an emergency call to come over to his health center around 7:35pm yesterday; he hurriedly left his home and went there, only for him to attacked by unknown persons with a machete. An eye-witness said the assassins numbering 6 arrived the premises in a red Toyota car popularly called 'dog nyash', two remained in the car while four went inside. By the time Cletus was found later by neighbors, his head had been split open. He was also shot. The men also left his pharmacy with some cash. I have a photo of what happened to Cletus after the cut but *viewer discretion advise*


Man's inhumanity to man...

"Cletus was a very brave health personnel whom notwithstanding the threats he got from the Doctors Association within Gboko, went ahead to administer health services to the poor masses at a subsidized and affordable rate. He was dragged to court for refusing to stop affordable medical treatments. His life was taken when it became clear that he was going to win the case" a relative said
His death has thrown Gboko city into a state of chaos and lawlessness as the youths already embarked on violent protest, destroying properties, blocking roads and most especially destroy sign posts that has hospital names on them. See the photos below...

20 year old Super Eagles player Aaron Samuel took to his instagram page this afternoon to show off  his new Romain Jerome RJ watch which cost 12,0000 euros. I know the price because he wrote it himself "#Happy with my new @steampunk watch. Cost. #12000 euro" he wrote.

One of his colleagues, Super Eagles player Onazi Ogenyi, immediately told him to remove the price from his post but Aaron ignored his comment...lol. See that after the cut...

2 year old shoots himself dead with his dad's gun inside family car

2yr old Kaleb Ahles shot himself dead with his father's gun which he found in the glove compartment of their family car. The sad incident happened yesterday January 21st . The mum told Florida police that she and Kaleb's dad had been moving out of their home is Eastlake Florida and had left Kaleb inside the car briefly to pick some things when they heard a loud bang from inside the car.

They ran to the car to find the toddler had mistakenly shot himself in the chest with a .380 calibre loaded handgun. The parents said they began performing CPR but he was pronounced dead after arriving at a local hospital.


 A Florida police officer said
"Kaleb had entered the vehicle at some point as the family was loading the vehicle to move out of the house. In a situation like this, where it looks like the gun was secured, they took reasonable steps, and you can lawfully keep a gun in a vehicle in a glove box. It was secured, it looks like in the glove box itself, and sometimes just bad things happen."
The police said the parents would not face charges.
"I don't think anybody can punish these parents any more than what they've been punished. This is something they will carry with them and live with the rest of their lives."
