Adamawa State Governor, Senator Bindow Mohammadu Jibrilla today visited the victims of Tuesday's bomb blast who are currently receiving treatments at Federal Medical Centre,Yola. He also also visited the scene of the bomb blast and announced an indefinite ban on night markets in the state capital. The ban, he said, was part of decisions taken at an emergency security meeting at Govt House, Yola. Business premises and places that attracts large crowd are expected to close by 6 p.m.

Senegal to ban the full-face veil amidst growing terror threat

Following the arrest of four imams accused of having ties to Boko Haram terrorist group, Senegal plans to ban women from wearing the full-face Islamic veil in public in an attempt to curb terrorism.

The move announced on Tuesday, November 17, by Interior Minister Abdoulaye Daouda, prohibits women from wearing burqas where only their eyes can be seen. Daouda says the law is not anti-Islamic as Senegal is a Muslim majority nation instead he says it's a question of national security.

Boko Haram has used suicide bombers hiding their explosives beneath loose clothing to carry out scores of attacks in Cameroon, Chad and Nigeria. An estimated 92% of Senegal's population is Muslim. Although the country has not suffered a terrorist attack recently, authorities are concerned that the Islamic militant group Boko Haram may be trying to extend its range.

ISIS executes Chinese & Norwegian hostages, shares pic of bomb used to blow up Russian plane

The barbaric group has executed two hostages, one from Norway and the other, a Chinese. The claim was made in the group's propaganda magazine today November 18 but did not give any details about how, when or where they were executed. In September, Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg said a Norwegian man was kidnapped in Syria since January.



 He did not name the man but said he was in his 40s and had been held by several groups since he was captured. China's foreign ministry also declared one of its citizens missing. The magazine also published a picture of the bomb that brought down the Russian passenger jet last month, killing all 224 people on board.

Adele shuts down Beyonce collaboration rumours

Last week there were rumors that Adele turned down the chance to record with Beyonce. According to the report, Beyonce had been asking Adele for the past one year to collaborate on a track but Adele politely declined. But speaking about it in a recent interview on Beats 1, Adele said its not true;
"There's a rumor going round that I turned Beyoncé down which I would never be so disrespectful as to do. I'd never disrespect her like that. Obviously, like, Queen Bey 'til the day I die."

Photo: Man arrested for stabbing neighbour over witchcraft allegation

Abuchi Simon,37, was arrested and charged before Isolo Magistrate court after he repeatedly stabbed his neighbour, Ehis Ibhaze, over allegation of witchcraft and spiritual attack. According to P.M. News, the men, both residents of No 14, Ifelodun street, Ilasamaja, Lagos, were not on good terms when the incident happened. Simon allegedly accused Ibhaze of waging spiritual war against his family which he claimed delayed his progress.

On the day the incident happened, Simon reportedly ambushed Ibhaze in the bathroom where he had gone to take his bath and attacked him with a knife. He was rescued by neighbours and rushed to the hospital. Simon was immediately arrested by the police and charged to court. He pleaded not guilty.

The presiding Magistrate, Mrs Joy Ugbomoiko granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties. He was remanded in prison custody pending when he meets up with his bail condition. The case was adjourned till 25 November, 2015.

The Nigerian Defense HQ released photos of two suspected Boko Haram members that were captured this week by troops in Maiduguri, Borno, state. They wrote;
The suspect who gave his name as Abubakar Sadiq (left), works as night watchman to one Muhammad Daggash. A closer look at him shows that he was suspect number 28 among the suspected Boko Haram terrorists that were declared by the Nigerian Army last month.
Mohammed Usman, (pictured right) was arrested at Abuja Talakawa Ward in Maiduguri yesterday.

The petroleum pipeline close to an army barracks in Warri, Delta state exploded yesterday.Up till now Fire-fighters are still battling with the fire which has spread badly from the Army Baracks to Effurun Roundabout.
