Lagosians will no longer accept excuses, Ambode tells police Posted: 27 Nov 2015 12:07 PM PST Read the press statement below... Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode on Friday handed over series of security equipment and vehicles to the State Police Command and the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), just as he charged them to ensure that the equipment are deployed effectively to tackle criminal activities as residents will no longer accept excuses. The Governor who spoke at the official handing over of 100 4-Door Salon Cars, 55 Ford Ranger Pick-Ups, 10 Toyota Land Cruiser Pick-Ups, 15 BMW Power Bikes, 100 Power Bikes, Isuzu Trucks, three (3) Helicopters, two(2) Gun Boats, 15 Armoured Personnel Carriers, Revolving Lights, Siren and Public Address System, Vehicular Radio Communicators, Security Gadgets including Bullet Proof Vests, Helmets, Handcuffs, etc, Uniforms, Kits and Improved Insurance and Death Benefit Schemes for officers, put the total cost of acquiring the equipment to N4.765bn. He said with the new development, the Lagos State Police Command has been repositioned to compare to similar outfits in other modern City States, expressing optimism that the equipment will go a long way to aid security agencies respond faster to crime. "Our Police Command will have its operations significantly driven by the right technology and equipment that will match the emerging sophistication of crime in our contemporary time". "Members of the Police Command have been undergoing training to better equip them for the job. We have also rebranded the Rapid Response Squad of the State police Command to give them a new identity". "Given the encouraging partnership and support of well-meaning citizens and corporate organisations, we are on course to making our State a safe haven only for law abiding citizens", the Governor said. He however urged the officers of the State Police Command to ensure that the purpose for which the equipment was acquired is not defeated. "We say to whom much is given, much is expected. Law enforcement officers are never 'off duty.' They are dedicated public servants who are sworn to protect the public at any time and place. Lagosians will not accept excuses", he said. Governor Ambode also seized the occasion to call on President Muhammadu Buhari to further strengthen support for the state, noting that the security of the state reflects directly on the economic fortunes of Nigeria. He also urged residents to play their part by volunteering useful information on suspected criminals and activities that might lead to the breach of security in our communities to the Police through the state emergency hotline 112. President Buhari in his remarks commended Governor Ambode for his laudable role in prioritizing security and the purchase of the security equipment that would make the state safer and conducive for residents and citizens of the state. The President who was represented by the Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Abdurrahman Dambazau, said the security equipment is a clear demonstration of the fulfillment of the Governor's mantra to the people of the State. "This is indeed a laudable achievement by Lagos State Government to improve the security of life and property of the people of Lagos State. I therefore salute the Governor of Lagos State for initiating this judicious use of public funds to protect Lagosians", Buhari said. The President who said that addressing security challenges calls for collaboration among critical stakeholders, especially elected government representatives, also enjoined other states to emulate the great strides of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode by supporting security agencies in their various states. He however called on men of the Lagos State Police Command to ensure that the equipment is preserved through diligent maintenance culture in order to justify the huge resources expended. Speaking earlier, the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Solomon Arase, said with the huge investment in security equipment donated to the police by the State Government, Governor Ambode has shown that beyond his widely acknowledged commitment to the security wellbeing and welfare of the people, he is determined to prioritize security. Arase said the gesture was a clear demonstration of political will and clear vision to rebrand, re-equip and re-energize the security architecture in a manner that will motivate security personnel to operate optimally and remain step ahead of criminal elements in the battle to re-assure citizens of security and safety. The police boss, who acknowledged that Governor Ambode has been consistently motivating security agencies in the State, said the Governor deserved to be commended for remaining a strong executive pillar for which the security architecture of Lagos could confidently rest. While appreciating Governor Ambode, Arase said: "I can assure you that the huge investment will not be in vain. For by this gesture, you have motivated us and assured us that as we work hand-in-hand as security agents to advance your vision for a safe and secured Lagos State, you, as the Chief Security Officer of Lagos State, will be by us, meet our needs and give us the executive leverage needed to succeed. "You have challenged us by this gesture and I can confidently assure your Excellency that we shall not fail you as we appreciate that to whom much is given, much is expected," Arase said. |

Natural Ways to Treat and Tighten your vagina & the True Reason for a loose vagina Posted: 27 Nov 2015 08:55 AM PST This is a sponsored post. Not written by me. Read below... One of the biggest complaints among women is that they feel their vaginas are too loose. I hear it all the time when consulting other women. It is the reason why this product is still the #1 seller in my shop. I know that the feeling of a loose vagina leaves many beautiful women with low self-esteem and unable to have the sex life they desire.(An enhanced sex life has to do way more with the mind then the fact that the vagina is a bit more loose) There are many myths surrounding the cause of vaginal looseness that I quickly want to dispel such as: having too much sex, you were at your tightest when you were a virgin so when you start having sex you will start to lose tightness immediately, and that having a baby loosens the vagina forever. All of these, yes all of these are myths and are not true in the slightest! Phew. It's not the vagina that's loose; it's the pelvic floor muscle It is important to know when going about looking for a natural way to fix a loose vagina that you target the correct area. The pelvic floor muscle is what surrounds both the vagina and vaginal wall muscle. When the pelvic floor muscle is tight everything else will be nicely held and supported in place. The reason the vaginal wall muscle becomes loose is because it sort of looks and acts like a folded, very elastic and stretchy accordion. So when the pelvic floor muscle stretches, the vaginal wall muscle can't help itself and will unfold more and more with it to. The 3 Main Reasons for a Loose Vagina #1 Natural Aging process (because of wonderful gravity kicking in) #2 Vagina loosens after multiple births (e.g. four babies over four years, and not having a break in between to strengthen the pelvic floor muscle after each one.) #3 There are rare cases where vaginal looseness happens due to severe medical conditions Natural ways to tighten the Vagina Never fear ladies there are many natural solutions for you to try & tighten your little lady. Trust in nature & the strength of your body. #1 Have an Orgasm – the fun part about toning your pelvic floor muscles When you have an orgasm – that is actually your pelvic floor muscle contracting. So the more you orgasm the more you start toning up your pelvic floor muscle. As your pelvic floor muscle becomes stronger, so will your orgasms – BONUS! #2 Kegel Exercises are also known as pelvic floor exercises Kegel exercises are also known as pelvic floor exercises because they specifically target this area and prevent weakness in the pelvic floor area. The pelvic floor is often referred to as a "hammock" of muscles that hold all of the pelvic organs in place. Kegel exercises are a great place to start treating vaginal looseness, especially if you are struggling to reach climax temporarily. Plus, they can be done in the privacy of your own home, when no one is around, so no one has to know you are doing them. Kegel exercises can only help though if they are done on a regular basis. #3 Insert Ben-wa Balls (Geisha Balls) Sometimes Kegel exercises are not enough to tighten the vaginal muscle, so if this is the case for you, then try inserting Ben-wa balls also, to try get a deeper strengthening of muscles in your vagina. Ben-wa balls are weighted, therefore once inserted, you have to really engage the muscles down there to keep them in! Of all the muscles you want to tone for summer, the pelvic floor — otherwise known as your vagina muscles — is probably dead last. But Kegel weights, which do for your pelvic floor what crunches do for your abs, have myriad benefits: They help with urinary incontinence, pelvic prolapse, and supposedly make you some sort of lady sex wizard and also give you great orgasms! So if you want to be better at sexing and don't like peeing on yourself and you are tired of changing your pants every time you sneeze or cough, then Kegel weights are for you! #4 Eve's Intimate Secrets – I love this Magic Stick This magic stick is the sh***. It is the reason I started promoting a natural way of healing& beautifying the lady parts. Eve Intimate Secrets helps you regain a tight vagina which is more pleasurable for both you and your man during sex, it's more visually pleasing, and it can make you feel more youthful and therefore more confident. Don't be surprised if you become super tight after the first week of using it, as some users report to have found! Just as we care for the skin of our faces. As we exercise our legs and our arms. We eat foods that will nourish our bodies. So must we care for our intimate areas. Eve's Intimate Secrets' active ingredients' antifungal and antibacterial properties effectively counteract conditions that arise as a result of a state of imbalance of the flora, such as fungal infections (Vaginal Candidiasis), vaginal dryness, itching/inflammation of the vagina (Vaginitis), unpleasant odour/ smell (Vaginosis) or vagina discharge (Leucorrhoea). In our culture, not much mention is given to taking care of ourselves in this way. After using this product, I wish there was an effective way to scream from the mountain tops that every woman in Nigeria and in the world should try this product! When I agreed to use this product myself, I researched the ingredients first. All natural is important to me - especially if I'm using it in a highly absorb-able membrane area as is the vagina. #5 Exercise, Sweat, Exercise, Sweat Do explore other forms of exercise too, like yoga and pilates, as these all incorporate working on the pelvic floor muscle and strengthening your core muscles which together will help keep your pelvic floor muscles tighter for longer. #6 A Healthy Diet – Fruits, Vegetables, Juices, Smoothies To keep the muscles in your body strong, you don't just need exercise, you also need to feed the muscle correctly daily to ensure its correct growth and repair. So, ensure you get a healthy diet full of wholegrain organic carbohydrates, organic lean animal protein (excellent muscle builder), and organic fruits and vegetables if you wish to keep your vaginal muscle healthy and strong. To all the wonderful women out there who currently have vaginal looseness, don't fret, there is so much you can do about it starting today. British woman conned out of £1.6m by Nigerian fraudster she met on an online dating site Posted: 27 Nov 2015 06:44 AM PST A west London woman was tricked into transferring large sum of money to a Nigerian gang of fraudsters after one of them told her he loved her. Ife Ojo,31, and Olusegun Agbaje,43, were due to be sentenced today, Friday, November 27, in connection with the scam in which the woman who is in her 40s handed over increasingly large sums of money to the man and his "associates"over a period of 10 months last year. Ojo, who claimed to be studying at the London School of Business and Finance, and Agbaje, an NHS admin assistant of Hornchurch, Essex, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to defraud at an earlier hearing. Detectives believe they were part of a wider romance fraud gang – many of them based overseas – who target lone and vulnerable women on the Internet. On their arrest police found a laptop containing records of conversations between the woman and the man called Anderson and a copy of The Game, a bestselling book on the art of seduction. Detective Chief Inspector Gary Miles, of the Met's FALCON cyber crime and fraud task force, said: "This is a growing problem, in recent months we have seen an increase in reports of romance fraud." "Within the past year Falcon officers have investigated the loss of more than £4 million in relation to about 100 victims. These victims were ruthlessly manipulated by men and women pretending to love them." The suspects showered them with compliments and confided their seemingly innermost secrets to them. In many cases suspects were talking to victims online or over the phone for hours every day. In the latest case the woman, from Hillingdon, told police she had met a man called Christian Anderson on a dating website in February last year. Unusually, they met in person after a couple of weeks when he told her he was an engineer working in the oil industry and was divorced. As the relationship continued he convinced the woman he loved her but said that he needed a loan of £30,000 for equipment for an engineering project in Benin, Africa. The woman paid the cash and handed over further sums in a series of increasingly elaborate requests by the man who convinced her they would soon be living together. At one stage the victim began house hunting for them and even travelled to Amsterdam to meet an associate. The woman told detectives she often doubted the man's authenticity but every time she asked for proof he sent convincing but false documentation. DCI Miles said: "Victims of this fraud must understand they are not foolish and they are not alone. These fraudsters go to great lengths to convince their victim. But these victims are not gullible, the fraudsters are very professional, often they are talking from carefully prepared scripts." Police advise that people should never send money abroad to people they have not met or do not know well, question people's stories and talk to friends about the relationships. |
