Update: Prince was found in an elevator at his home...

Posted: 21 Apr 2016 01:22 PM PDT

According to the Sheriff's department investigating Prince's death, he was found in an elevator at his Paisley Park home in Minnesota. They said they performed CPR, but were unable to revive him. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The Sheriff's Office told TMZ that they are now investigating the circumstances of Prince's death but do not suspect any foul play.

The 57 year old singer was epileptic. He had a health scare on his private jet on Friday last week and the next day after leaving the hospital, he had a party and invited strangers to his party and everyone said he seemed fine. See last photo taken of him after the cut..

From TMZ
Prince hit up a local pharmacy hours before he died -- the 4th time he visited this week -- indicating his health was far worse than the simple flu. TMZ obtained this photo of Prince leaving a Walgreens near his home in Minnesota Wednesday night at around 7 PM.
Our sources tell us Prince had frequented the Walgreens for years -- but last night, people at the store were concerned because he looked much more frail and nervous than usual.
As we previously reported, Prince's team told the media he was suffering from the flu. It seemed odd, because his private jet had to make an emergency landing in Moline, Illinois last Friday, just 48 minutes from his home.
Prince was hospitalized ... but was discharged after only a few hours. Our sources in Moline told us at the time they felt Prince left the hospital way too soon because he was "not doing well" and needed further medical care.
On Saturday, the day after he was released from the hospital, Prince took the stage at a dance party near his home and curiously said, "Wait a few days before you waste any prayers."

Witness against Saraki admits to errors in investigation - Report

Posted: 21 Apr 2016 10:26 AM PDT

Report sent in by witnesses at the on-going Saraki trial at CCT. Read below...
Prosecution Witness 1, in the Code of Conduct Tribunal's (CCT) trial against the Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, today admitted that Dr. Saraki was not interrogated by the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), in-line with the procedures established by the laws that institute the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal.
Answering questions on cross-examination by Saraki's counsel,Paul Usoro (SAN), Michael Wetkas, the first witness, who is also an operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, maintained that the Senate President was never given an opportunity to confirm nor deny the allegations against him by the CCB, because it was the EFCC that had conducted the investigations relating to the claims, not the CCB.

This revelation, raises new contentions, as the precedent clause in Section 3D of the of the CCT Act, clearly states that all cases at the CCT are dependent on the fact that "the person concerned makes a written admission of such breach or noncompliance, no reference to the Tribunal shall be necessary."

Many will recall that the Senate President stated at the commencement of the CCT proceedings that his fundamental rights based on the precedent clause of the CCT Act were abused.

In 2011, former Lagos State Governor and National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, had his case dismissed, as the tribunal had also failed to allow him to confirm or deny the allegations brought against him by the CCB.

However, when Saraki's lawyers filed a similar motion, Justice Umar, who gave the ruling in Tinubu's case, stated that he had made the ruling in Tinubu's case in error.

Meanwhile, the CCT boss has also ordered that all other cases at the CCT be stood down till further notice, as Saraki's trial must proceed day to day until the end of the proceedings.

This ruling has raised eyebrows, as the tribunal currently has other cases to adjudicate, making many observers to ask if there is truly a timeline - as some say - to convict the Senate President using the CCT.

Mixed race beauty had killer response for man who suggested she bleach her skin to look whiter and prettier

Posted: 21 Apr 2016 09:37 AM PDT

You know that moment when random people who should be on their best behaviour while trying to snag a date behave like inappropriately? 22-year-old Takara Allen had one such moment. She shared a screenshot of a conversation with her Tinder date who suggested she bleach her skin so as to look whiter and prettier.

The make-up artist, who lives in Adelaide, Australia, says she was left 'devastated' after being told she would look so much prettier if she was whiter.

After sharing the exchange, Takara vented her outrage in a long post on Facebook.

She wrote: 'What goes on in people's heads that makes them think this is okay to say to someone?
'As if people of colour don't already struggle enough with the pressure to conform to Eurocentric beauty ideals and standards, people like this add even more.'

Takara also ridiculed the man's claim that he didn't mean to cause her offence.
'How the F*** is this not offensive in your head?!' she wrote. 'Like literally how can you come to the conclusion that this is even true?

'I've grown up hearing "You'd be prettier if you were lighter" and "You're pretty for a black girl," as if black women are just generally unattractive, and so it's a surprise when one of us is.'

Takara addressed the Tinder message again in a message posted on her Facebook page yesterday.
She said: 'This is a huge issue we deal with when dating/navigating the world in general and the darker you are the worse it gets.

'Black people's beauty is tied directly to blackness. We are not beautiful *in spite* of being black but rather *because* we're black. Don't get it twisted.'

Former Kardashian bodyguard changes his name to Bruce Jenner to save its "heterosexual roots"

Posted: 21 Apr 2016 09:14 AM PDT

Former Kardashian bodyguard Mark Behar has legally changed his name to Bruce Jenner in what he says is an attempt to save the name's "heterosexual roots."
"This name once stood for America, and I just want to keep it alive. I've been seeing so many idols and athletes and icons die because of stupid stuff like drugs, die because of age … We're losing icons. We're losing names. We're losing people faster than we ever have." he said in an interview with The New York Daily News.

Behar who has provided security for several celebrities such as The Kardashians, Donald Trump, Whitney Houston and Hulk Hogan announced the name change through his public relations firm Transmedia Group via the Huffintong Post.
"We're representing Mark who is now legally Bruce so the famous Bruce Jenner name will return to its heterosexual roots where are client believes it belongs instead of hanging around with the likes of the Kardashians and getting into car accidents as Caitlyn," said Transmedia CEO Tom Madden. Behar actually faced Caitlyn (who was still Bruce at the time) in a celebrity boxing match in season 4 of Keeping up with the Kardashians. "I have no problem leaving my/the former Mark Behar name, as it made and is already part of history, and will live on forever, and after I'm gone," said the new Bruce Jenner, whose name became official on April 15.

She accused the director Mahmood Mamdani of being a dictator.
"Mahmood Mamdani locked me out of my office, even after the Deputy Vice Chancellor refused him to continue with evicting me. I have found his ugly padlock barring my access to my office. This is the third day"  she wrote on her Facebook page.

She then threatened to strip naked in three hours if her office was still under lock. She eventually made good on the threat and posted a video of her nude protest. She also took nude nude photos and posted them along with verbal threats.

"I have thrown my clothes outside Mamdani's office. I am naked as I cry out for my office," she wrote.

I am not contesting for any position in PDP - Metuh

Posted: 21 Apr 2016 08:24 AM PDT

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, says he has no wish to contest for any position in the party in its forthcoming convention. Olisa stated this in a statement he released today April 21st. Read below
As Nigerians are aware, my party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is preparing for a National Convention where national officers who will pilot its affairs in the next four years are expected to emerge.
As one of the founding members of this party, the longest serving member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and currently a critical player in the party, my supporters and admirers expect me to contest and this has spurred speculations in the media. However, I wish to state publicly that I have no ambitions to continue as a member of the National Working Committee after the expiration of my current tenure as the National Publicity Secretary, a decision that is enjoying the support of my family.
I therefore with every sense of responsibility confirm to all members of our great party that I will not run for any position whatsoever in the forthcoming National Convention irrespective of which office may be zoned to the south east for that matter.
What is paramount in my mind at this point is to continue to lift the image of our great party during the remaining part of my tenure as the image-maker of the PDP, a position, which by the grace of God, I have been able to dutifully deliver to the best of my ability despite daunting challenges.
Finally, I wish to assure all my associates and supporters that my love and commitment to the party remains unshaken, especially as we work together to build not only a strong and virile party but also a prosperous, united and stable nation.
Signed
          Chief Olisa Metu
          National Publicity Secretary
