The National casting for the Elite Model Look Nigeria 2015 competition held in Lagos on the 15th of August 2015 with over 4500 girls and boys in attendance, a total of 60 contestants were pre selected, after which contestants images were sent to Paris for the final selection, the contestants were cut to the final 20 finalist.
 
During the National final, the 20selected contestants will be welcomed to the elite boot camp for a unique and unbelievable experience, supervised by a professional team. The models will be accommodated in the boot camp for 7 days, makeovers, photo shoots, fittings and rehearsals have been scheduled to introduce the contestants to the world of modelling.  The selection of the contestants will be based on physical criteria natural beauty, photogenic, body, elegance and personality, character, motivation, attitude.

US pastor committed suicide after his name was exposed in Ashley Madison adultery website

John Gibson, a US pastor committed suicide six days after his name was exposed by hackers of the Ashley Madison adultery website, his wife, Christi Gibson told CNN.
 
Canadian police have said that at least two suicides were linked to the leak of 32 million customer profiles from the Canada-based site last month. Christi Gibson discovered her husband's body and a suicide note which chronicled his demons & his shame at being exposed - in their New Orleans home on August 24. 
 
 
      "He talked about depression. He talked about having his name on there, and he said he was just very, very sorry," Gibson said as their adult son and daughter sat next to her in a New Orleans studio.
      "Nothing is worth the loss of a father and a husband and a friend. It just didn't merit it. It didn't merit it at all."
 
In addition to his work as a pastor, Gibson, 56, taught at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Gibson said her husband, who had struggled with depression and addiction in the past, was worried that he would lose his job. 
 
      "It wasn't so bad that we wouldn't have forgiven it, and so many people have said that to us, but for John, it carried such a shame," she told CNN.
 
      "What we know about him is that he poured his life into other people, and he offered grace and mercy and forgiveness to everyone else, but somehow he couldn't extend that to himself."
Ashley Madison, launched in 2001, is known for its slogan: "Life is short. Have an affair." It helps connect people seeking to have extramarital relationships and is owned by Avid Life Media. 
 
According to authorities, the company became aware of the hack on July 12 when staff were greeted in the morning with a message on their computers threatening to leak client information unless the Ashley Madison website was "shut down immediately, permanently." The message was accompanied by rockers AC/DC's song "Thunderstruck."
 
Ashley Madison ran into more trouble when tech news site Gizmodo looked at the leaked data and concluded that it showed little if any activity from the site's purported female members, suggesting many accounts were in fact fake.
 
Avid Life Media rejected the analysis and said the site has registered hundreds of thousands of new members including real women, in the wake of the hack, which has garnered massive media attention.
 
Tributes to Gibson poured in from students and faculty who remembered him as a kind, generous man who would repair student's vehicles in his spare time. He was pastor of First Southern Baptist Church in Pearlington, Mississippi. He obtained a doctorate of theology from the seminary and was elected to the faculty in 1998, the obituary said.

Yes, you read that right..lol. According to a Kenyan website, Tuko, a section of women from Limuru, Kiambu county, Kenya, held a peaceful demonstration on Thursday, September 3 in Ndeiya ward claiming that most of their men, including young men, have failed to perform their conjugal rights and impregnate them. The women said the trend was worsened by high levels of alcohol consumption which saw many men abandon their families.

The women further claimed that only a few newly married women are currently pregnant with the rest of the bulk dreaming about ever having a baby since men have failed to impregnate them.
"If you walk in this village, you will find so many young married women but only a few are pregnant," Nancy Wangare, one of the protesters said.
The women threatened to move outside Kiambu to other counties where they can find real men who are serious enough to impregnate them. They further called on government to make strict laws restricting drinking from 5pm to 11pm for week days and 2pm-11pm for weekends.

Photos: Man arrested for pouring hot oil on wife in Abia

The Anambra state police command has arrested one Uchenna Okoye for pouring hot oil on his wife Njideka (pictured above) during an argument at their home. When interrogated, the father of 3 said he got into an argument with his wife after he returned from work last week Tuesday and there was no food for him to eat.

He said he got angry when she told him she'd sent someone to go buy foodstuff for her to make the food as he'd repeatedly warned her not to send people to get their food stuff. As they argued, he poured hot oil on her.

A remorseful Mr Okoye has since pleaded for forgiveness from his wife and the police. He is however still being detained at the Central Police station in Awka, the Anambra state capital.

AKA's baby mama DJ Zinhle confirms AKA & Bonang Matheba's affair

A few weeks ago, popular South Africa DJ, Zinhle, announced on her blog that her 3year relationship with SA rapper AKA was over. (read here) Well, early today, she took to her blog to accuse SA TV personality Bonang Matheba (D'banj's ex) of ruining her relationship with AKA by having an affair with him when she was pregnant. DJ Zinhle and AKA welcomed a daughter just a few months ago. Read what she wrote below...(left is Zinhle with AKA & right is AKA with Bonang)
"A week before our daughter was born, I found out about an affair between Kiernan (the father of my child) and Bonang Matheba. Woman arrested for biting off neighbour's nipple and swallowing it

A mother of three, Mrs. Bola Olowolagba has been accused by her neighbour, Mrs Adelowo Taiwo of biting off and swallowing her nipple during a fight, P.M.News reports. The incident occurred after an argument between the two women over the dirty state of their compound located in Shasha, Lagos.

Mrs. Taiwo narrated how Mrs. Bola, a mother of four, littered the compound after holding a party and refused to clean up. She took it upon herself to clean the compound. It was then Bola came out of her apartment and confronted her. They got into an argument which eventually led to a fight.

In the process, Bola allegedly bit off Taiwo's right nipple and swallowed it. According to Taiwo, she was rushed to Igando General Hospital where she is currently being treated. The police at Shasha Division arrested and charged Bola to Ejigbo Magistrates' court for inflicting bodily injury on the complainant.

During her arraignment, Bola pleaded not guilty and the presiding Magistrate, Mrs J.O.E. Adeyemi, granted her bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.

Mr. Bola was remanded in prison custody at Kirikiri pending when she will apply for bail. The matter was adjourned till 21 September.

Saudi doctors removed an 18-kg tumour from the abdomen of a 17-year-old local girl after she was admitted to hospital with severe pain, Emirate 24/7 reports. Officials at the government hospital in the Western town of Makkah that image scans showed the mass, measuring 30 by 25cm, spread from the upper abdomen down to the pelvis.
"It weighed nearly 18 kg, almost a third of the girl's weight and caused sharp pain to her. The mass was removed successfully without any complications to the patient." Dr. Hilal Al Malki, a doctor at the hospital revealed.
