Phase 1 Ends: Twenty (20) twenty lucky contestants with the "MOST LIKES' will move ontoPhase 2. Phase 2 – The second look will be posted on the @mudnigeriainstragram page and the 20 qualifying contestants will be tagged · Repeat all steps from Phase 1. | Police raids brothel in Calabar, arrest 54 prostitutes Posted: 22 Sep 2015 12:57 PM PDT  Briefing newsmen after the operation, Ngaji said the brothel which used to be a hotel has now become a notorious place for commercial sex workers in Calabar. He explained that the brothel poses a security threat in the State, adding that it now serves as a breeding ground for criminal activities. According to Ngaji, the brothel has become a hideout for criminals as well hard drug merchants in the State. "Given the tourism status of Cross River, Gov. Ayade frowns on this despicable act where under aged girls are engaged in prostitution. He has therefore vowed to take drastic and decisive measures to stem the ugly trend. He has directed that the place be raided and shut down forthwith. Consequently, the governor has warned that other persons or groups involved in this unwholesome practice should in their own interest desist henceforth or face the wrath of the law", he said. The SSA, who advised teenage girls to always engage themselves in meaningful activities, said Nigeria does not have any law that legalizes prostitution. ``Each time you pass here at night, you find under-aged girls of about 13 and 14 years standing by and waiting for men. This place has become an area of concern to the State and Cross Riverians. This place has become a Sodom and Gomorrah in Cross River and the raid was carried out to stop prostitution and criminality in the state. All the girls that were caught here are prostitutes and some of them were caught in a compromising position. No law legalizes prostitution in Nigeria. Distributing the rams in Government House, Fayose said he won't allow himself to be dragged into playing politics with religion in the State. "I won't allow anybody to drag me into playing politics with religion. What I am doing today is a demonstration of love and support for the Muslims. I am not that kind of a leader who does things with religious interest. "I will do same to Christians at Christmas exactly what I am doing to Muslims today. Ekiti is one whether you are Muslim or Christian and this is the spirit I want all of us to imbibe. "In my actions and conducts, every Ekiti man knows that I am going to relate with you whether you are a Christian or Muslim. The two are the same. I have no preference for either of the two. | Ikoyi Golf Community Unveils the Nigerian Cup 2015 and Sponsors with a Countdown Edifice Posted: 22 Sep 2015 09:53 AM PDT   The Nigeria Cup was established to celebrate Nigeria's independence and it remains the most prestigious amateur golf tournament at Ikoyi Club 1938 and on the Nigerian golfing calendar.  "It is a platform for corporate organisations to interact with the golf community and captains of the industry and business people with passion for golf. The Nigeria Cup is our annual golfing tournament which commemorates Nigeria's Independence anniversary. It was established to celebrate our Nigerian heritage while promoting the game of golf and essentially comprises of golfing tournaments and activities that show our heritage, pride and sporting excellence," Kalejaiye said. He also said that the tournament was for youth development as they have adopted the philosophy of giving back part of the proceeds from the sponsors to support the less privileged as well as developing the game.  He recalled that 14 years old Georgia Oboh, a product of the Ikoyi community, won the US Junior Open recently, saying that more of her likes were expected to be produced. The chairman also said that the tournament provided opportunity for its sponsors who were friends of the club to be part of the game of golf.  On the professionals N3million prize money, the chairman admitted the need to up it in due course, noting that the present economic situation demands the need for an upward review.  It would be recalled that the Nigeria Cup is the Ikoyi Golf Community Nigeria Association (IGCNA) annual golfing tournament, which commemorates Nigeria's Independence anniversary, while promoting the game of golf. | Azealia Banks goes ballistic on a Delta flight, calls a flight attendant the F word… Posted: 22 Sep 2015 09:51 AM PDT   A passenger sitting next to Banks tells TMZ, when the Delta flight landed just before 1 AM Tuesday, Azealia made a beeline for the front door. She had been sitting in seat 6A but a French couple in the 3rd row was blocking her exit as they pulled their luggage from the overhead bin. The eyewitness says Azealia tried to squeeze by the couple when the French man put his hand out. Azealia, we're told, went nuts. The eyewitness says she spit in the man's face, punched him in the face and clawed at his shirt. At that point we're told the flight attendant grabbed Azeala's bag and told her to calm down. She lost her balance, fell to the seat, stood up and then a tug-of-war over the luggage ensued. This is where the video begins. |

| Buhari leaves for New York on Thursday for discussion on terrorism and security with World leaders Posted: 22 Sep 2015 09:19 AM PDT  President Muhammadu Buhari will leave Nigeria for New York on Thursday for a series of meetings and interactions with notable world leaders within and on the sidelines of the main events of the 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. On the agenda of President Buhari's talks, deliberations and interactions with the United Nations Secretary-General, Mr. Ban Ki Moon, President Barack Obama of the United States, President Francois Hollande of France, Prime Minister David Cameron of Britain,Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, President Vladmir Putin of Russia, President Xi Jinping of China, Prime Minister Narenda Modi of India and others will be domestic developmental issues, bilateral relations, the war against terrorism, countering violent extremism, the enhancement of global security, peace-keeping operations, climate change and the adoption of a post 2015 global development agenda. President Buhari who will be accompanied by the Governors of Sokoto, Kaduna and Niger States, the National Security Adviser and the Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defence, Finance, Health, Industry, Trade and Investment, will deliver Nigeria's Statement to the 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly on Monday, September 28. President Buhari is also scheduled to address the World Leaders Summit on Violent Extremism to which he was personally invited by Mr. Ban Ki Moon during the Secretary-General's recent visit to Nigeria. Also on the President busy schedule in New York are a meeting of the African Union's Peace and Security Council, a High-Level Roundtable on South-South Cooperation organised by President Xi Jinping of China and the United Nations, and participation in the launching of an updated global health strategy for women and children.
