Fayose condemns petrol price increment, says “FG insensitive to Nigerians plight” Posted: 11 May 2016 12:35 PM PDT Read his statement below... Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has condemned the increment from N86.50 to N145 of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) otherwise known as petrol, describing it as insensitive and demonstration of the level of hatred the President Mohammadu Buhari led All Progressives Congress (APC) government had for Nigerians. The governor, who said the over 70 per cent increment was another vindication of his predictions on what to expect in 2016, added that it was now clear that the scarcity of petrol being experienced in the last three months was deliberately orchestrated by the federal government to pave way for the already conceived increment. According to his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose said "Nigerians are now left at the mercy of political liars who took over power by deception and are governing by deceit. He said he was waiting for the reaction of those who took to the streets to protest when fuel subsidy was removed by the Dr Goodluck Jonathan administration in 2012, urging labour unions in the country to stand by their members always, not minding the political party in government. He said; "When they were seeking for votes from Nigerians, they promised to reduce petrol pump price to from N87 to N45 per litre, they promised to create three million jobs per year, they said $1 will be equal to N1 and above all, they promised to pay unemployed youths N5, 000 stipend and provide one meal a day to pupils nationwide. "Instead of fulfilling their promises, they have increased petrol pump price to N145 per litre, increased electricity tariffs, retrenched thousands of workers and imposed untold hardships on Nigerians. "As they did in 2012, if labour leaders do not also stand up for the people at this time, posterity will not forgive them." |

Rugby player Seb Adeniran-Olule dies in road traffic accident at the age of 20 Posted: 11 May 2016 12:16 PM PDT Harlequins rugby player Seb Adeniran-Olule has died after being involved in a road traffic collision, his club have said. Adeniran-Olule, a prop for the Premiership club's academy, representated England Under-20s and made his first-team debut earlier this season, going on to make three appearances for the senior side. In a statement, Harlequins said they were "deeply saddened" by the news. . Director of rugby Conor O'Shea added that Adeniran-Olule was an "incredible talent" that would be missed by the entire club. "Our thoughts and prayers are with Seb's family and friends at this difficult time. Seb was an incredible talent and had already represented England at under age level as well as making his senior debut for Quins at just 20. He will be sorely missed by the whole squad as well as by the wider Club." The forward, who also played in the prop position, had been heavily involved with the club since the age of 13 and was described as one of its "most promising youngsters". He also won caps for the England under-20s team, with the Rugby Football Union's John Fletcher saying: "I'm devastated. He was a fantastic kid." He added: "He was one of the most skilful players in his position I have ever seen. He always played the game with a big smile on his face and could do some phenomenal things with the ball. As a character he was quiet, had incredible work rate, was popular and first to learn. On the pitch he would get you off your seat and as a front-row player that is fairly rare" "He should be remembered as a great kid, I loved coaching him. It's a tragic loss." |

The workload has been divided …, some people are in charge of the invitations, some in charge of the food, and you have been entrusted with the drinks. The mixers to be precise. Essentially those who prefer to stay away from the strong stuff will look to you for hope. The need for a drink which can stand up to the 'cool factor' of more potent beverages has never been more important than it is now, and the responsibility of providing said drink lies squarely on your already burdened shoulders. What do you do? Your moment has finally come, your time to be a hero and save the day, something you have been preparing for all your life (or at least for the last 10 minutes). You know exactly what drink you're going to get, you've known it from the first time you tasted Hollandia Yoghurt. That rich creamy taste, the deliciously distinct flavors, the sheer satisfaction you feel drinking it ... Hollandia Yogurt is easily the answer to this particular drink dilemma. The perfect mixer has been identified. But before you dash off and commandeer the entire Hollandia Yoghurt stock of your local supermarket, pause and consider. Party drinks are supposed to be exciting and known to keep the vibe going. Well? Will it? Never fear good citizen, Chi to the rescue! Introducing the new Hollandia Grab N Go Mixology packs! Handy as a handy-man, and more convenient than a 3 day weekend, the Hollandia Yogurt Grab N Go Mixology pack is the mixer to end all mixes. Imagine yourself walking in, handing out these light packs, with the specially designed prismatic (what a word eh?) shape … You're the hero this party deserves, man of the hour, woman of the moment, personality of the party. And now, everyone is having a good time. The Grab N Go packs were a hit, but you knew that from the moment you set your eyes on the vibrantly colored, prismatic (love this word so much) shape. So many new and exotic drinks are being created right before your eyes as a result of your groundbreaking work in the field of mixers. You are the Mixology Messiah, and these are your followers! It's a no brainer my friend, Hollandia Grab N Go 315ml pack was created to make your drinking experience more pleasant and dare I say again, cooler. The secret is simple; it tastes great. Which means it can make anything taste great. Pour a glass of your favorite drink, add some Hollandia Yoghurt, and suddenly you have a new favorite drink! + So go ahead and get the Grab N Go pack from pretty much anywhere … in traffic, road kiosks, supermarkets, stores and shops nationwide. Be a hero today! Be Prismatic! Let it be known by party people far and wide …, the Mixology Messiah has finally come, and goodness is being shared by the pack! |

Posted: 11 May 2016 09:15 AM PDT Despite fears he will offend again, an 82 year old Rapist, Ronald Van der Plaat who kept his own daughter as a sex slave for 23 years and raped her while her head was in a box has been freed from prison in New Zealand. Ronald, known as one of New Zealand's most dreaded rapists, was sent to prison for 15 years for sexual abuse of his daughter. He kept his daughter as a sex slave for 23 years of her life and would hang her up by her ankles or lock her head in a box with a padlock before raping her. He has now been freed from prison and released to his Te Atatu address, where he abused Ms Darke, his daughter, amid fears he could commit rape offences again. He was briefly released in 2010, but was sent back to jail two years later after being seen 'walking beside an Asian girl holding her hand' at a museum in Auckland. The court conditions of his release means he must wear a GPS bracelet, he cannot leave his home between the hours of 10pm and 6am every day and has a ban on going to places where children younger than 16 may frequent. This includes, parks, kindergartens, schools, childcare centres and libraries. Operations Director Northern Region Lynette Cave said Van der Plaat will be subject to 'nine standard and 12 special release conditions for a period of six months', but residents in the area fear he could begin his raping spree. 'There are real and just concerns in the community about the risk this man poses to the safety of vulnerable people given his appalling behaviour and the circumstances when he was last released,' Te Atatu MP Phil Twyford said. Good news!... New fibroid solution supports fertility in women trying to conceive Posted: 11 May 2016 08:58 AM PDT Fibroids, Hormonal imbalances such as High Prolactin, among others have a strong link with most Infertility problems. Women who can get pregnant but are unable to stay pregnant may also be referred to as infertile. If you're you struggling to get pregnant, frustrated or feeling angry for not being able to conceive despite all your efforts... Then you need to Read this post => http://www.fibroidremoval.com.ng About 70 to 80 percent of women develop fibroids by the time they reach age 50. Fibroids are most common in women in their 40s and early 50s. Not all women with fibroids have symptoms. Women who do have symptoms often find fibroids hard to live with. Some have pain and heavy menstrual bleeding. Fibroids also can put pressure on the bladder, causing frequent urination, or the rectum, causing rectal pressure. Should the fibroids get very large, they can cause the abdomen (stomach area) to enlarge, making a woman look pregnant. Though there are different types of Fibroids, but let me quickly explain this two common types: The name given to fibroids determine where is been located, different fibroids develop in different locations in and on the uterus. Intramural Fibroids: They are the most common type of fibroid. These types appear within the lining of the uterus (endometrium). Intramural fibroids may grow larger and actually stretch your womb. Subserosal Fibroids: They form on the outside of the uterus, which is called the serosa. They may grow large enough to make the womb appear bigger on one side. Question: So, Why do some women develop Fibroids? Answer: It is unclear why fibroids develop, but several factors may influence their formation. Some of these factors are: Hormones: Estrogen and progesterone are the hormones produced by the ovaries. They cause the uterine lining to regenerate during each menstrual cycle and may stimulate the growth of fibroids. Age: Fibroids become more common as women age, especially during the 30s and 40s through menopause. After menopause, fibroids usually shrink. Obesity: Women who are overweight are at higher risk for fibroids. For very heavy women, the risk is two to three times greater than average. Eating habits: Eating a lot of red meat (e.g., beef) and ham is linked with a higher risk of fibroids. Eating plenty of green vegetables seems to protect women from developing fibroids. Symptoms of fibroids may include: • Heavy bleeding between or during periods that includes blood clots • Pain in the pelvis and/or lower back • Increased menstrual cramping • Increased urination • Pain during intercourse • Menstruation that lasts longer than usual • Pressure or fullness in the lower abdomen • Swelling or enlargement of the abdomen Get full list here: http://www.fibroidremoval.com.ng Question: What if I become pregnant and have fibroids? Answer: Apart from generating symptoms, such as heavy vaginal bleeding, severe pelvic and back pain, constipation, and bloating, the most common problems seen in pregnant women with fibroids are: • Miscarriages: Due to the increase in estrogen levels during pregnancy, fibroids can enlarge and displace the placenta.Large fibroids in the uterine cavity can create a shortageof space and hinder the growth of the baby, which may either lead to miscarriage or cause congenital deformities in the baby. • Cesarean Birth: Multiple fibroids located in the lower part of the uterus can block the vagina during pregnancy, making it necessary to have a cesarean birth. • The Baby's position can adversely be affected: Depending on the location and orientation of the fibroid, the baby can end up in either a transverse or breech position. Visit our Website right now here => http://www.fibroidremoval.com.ng Some health problems also increase the risk of infertility. A 55-year-old Costa Rican man almost died from anal injuries after an 18-inch cassava that he was using as an anal sex toy got stuck inside him. Fortunately, he was saved after doctors at San Juan de Dios Hospital in San Jose managed to remove the cassava. According to reports, the man had carved the long and broad cassava into a phallic shape, wrapped it in two condoms and proceeded to use it. Unfortunately, one of the condoms burst, and it got stuck in his anal cavity. This put the man at risk of perforating his intestines and suffering from other infections. |

Photos: 25yr old Indian woman tortured to death by Saudi employer Posted: 11 May 2016 08:20 AM PDT 25-year-old woman from India, working as a housemaid in Saudi Arabia, was tortured to death by her employer, the woman's family claims. However, the Saudi hospital where she had been treated says she died of "natural causes." Asima Khatoon from Hyderabad died in Saudi Arabia last Thursday while undergoing treatment for Tuberculosis, according to the Ministry of External Affairs. But the family is citing torture as the reason for her death. Calling it a case of human trafficking, the deceased mother is demanding action againsts agents who are conning people by promising jobs to young women and leaving them to their fate once they get their money. According to ANI news agency, Asima had managed to sneak a call to her family two months before her death to blow the whistle on her ill treatment at the hands of her employer, Abdul Rahman Ali Mohammed. They said the young woman complained of being harassed both physically and mentally, and begged her parents to help her get back to India as soon as possible. "In April, Asima called us and complained that she was tortured and harrased by the employer's family as result of which she fell ill and died. They kept her locked up and opened the door in the evening," her mother Ghosia (pictured) told The Hindu. The Telangana state government sent a request to the Ministry of External Affairs asking for help in repatriating the woman, Indian media report. It was a call from an unknown source that informed relatives in India she had died at the King Saud hospital for chest diseases. Her sole phone call appears to be the only word anyone had received from the woman since her departure for Saudi Arabia. The Indian police said they were investigating the case. Inspector Ramesh told the media: "She went there for work. She worked there for four months, but thereafter she developed some health issues. We don't have confirmation about the incidents. We have written a letter to the Saudi consulate by secretariat on behalf of the state government," The Indian embassy sent one of its officials to the hospital where Asima had been treated to inquire about her death. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup said as cited by the Hindu: "He [the embassy official] was told by the mortuary in-charge that she was admitted to the hospital on April 27 and later on shifted to the ICU. Her death was due to natural causes and he was informed that all the requisite documents had been handed over to the sponsor for submission to the embassy," Asima's death certificate specifies that she died due to "disseminated TB and multi-organ failure," the spokesman said. "Now, the government should help us in bringing back the body so that we can perform the burial here," Ghousia sobbed. Social activist Jameela Nishath of Shaheen Women's Resource and Welfare Association said that she would be staging a demonstration near Charminar Bus stand today to highlight the 'torture and harrassment' being meted out to housemaids from the city who are working in Gulf countries. |
