Muhammad Kabir, a 35 year old Keke Napep driver, was stabbed in the face by a man who pretended to be a passenger but was actually a robber who wanted to steal his tricycle.

Muhhammed who is presently lying critically ill at an Abuja hospital, told TheSun that he had picked up the man along the road and was taking him to Masaka, a suburb of Abuja when the robber struck


"As we approached the man's destination, I asked for the transport fare of N300.00, which we had earlier agreed on. He dipped his hand into his pocket and what he brought out baffled me. Rather than give me the transport fare, he stabbed me with a dagger, thinking that I would fall off the motorcycle and he would take it away."
Muhammed's brother, Mustapha who is at the hospital with him, said
"Alas, my brother did not fall off the bike, but instead he rode on with the long dagger stuck in his head."
Paasersby were quick to help him after they found blood gushing through his face.
"He was later taken to Pan Raf Hospital, Nyanya, where doctors led by one Dr. Odia and other members of staff battled to save his life, through emergency care. When he appeared to have stabilized, the doctors referred him to another hospital for proper management and care.
"An X-ray of the skull showed the dagger had gone in from the right side of the face just in front of the ear and was nearly poking out from the cheek on the other side," a source at the hospital said.

The United States is celebrating Mothers Day today May 8th. President Obama took to his Facebook wall to celebrate his mum (pictured with him above), his wife, Michelle and her mum. According to him, no one deserves thanks more thanks more than our mothers. He shared photos and wrote;


"To all the moms out there, Happy Mother's Day! I will always be grateful to my mom for instilling in me a sense that I could do anything if I worked for it - even become the President of the United States. Doing right by our kids is the most important work there is. That's why I want to take a little extra time to say thank you to Michelle and to her mother for the extraordinary and selfless way they have raised, looked after, and loved our girls.

That is Ronke Bewaji Shonde, the mother of two young children who was beaten to death by her husband in their home in Egbeda last week and with her is her late younger brother, Jide. Jide died in a car accident in Abuja on July 20th 2015 and we carried it on LIB here. RIP to the siblings!

Police hunting for alleged wife killer, Lekan Shonde

This is the face of Lekan Shonde, the man who allegedly killed his wife, Ronke Bewaji Shonde, at their home in the early hours of Friday May 6th. The Police state police command says efforts are on to get him. He left home in the early hours Thursday after killing Ronke. He parked some of his belongings and her phone and hasn't been seen or heard from since.


Lagos police said mark of violence was found on Ronke and that they believe she was murdered. The Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos Command, Dolapo Badmos, said the case is now with the homicide division of the SDCI and efforts are on to get Mr. Shonde. Ronke's body has since been deposited at Isolo General Hospital mortuary for autopsy.

Wichooda Cheychom, a model from Lopburi Province in central Thailand has effectively handed men a cheat sheet and betrayed the sisterhood. She has demonstrated how to spot breast implants using just a cellphone light. In a clip which posted online, Wichooda presses two cellphone lights to the sides of her breasts after turning off the lights.



Suddenly where there should only be pitch darkness, her breasts slowly seem to light up and stay glowing in the dark. She reveals the silicone implants absorb the lights and glow in the dark.
The model commented in the caption: 'Sometimes I'm scared of my own boobs.'

No word from her if it works for butts too.
