Did Dino Melaye really threaten to beat Remi Tinubu?

Posted: 12 Jul 2016 12:56 PM PDT

According to a report by Sahara Reporters, Senator Dino Melaye today threatened to beat up the wife of the National leader of APC, Bola Tinubu, Senator Remi Tinubu. Below is how they reported it...
"Shortly after that, Senator Dino Melaye (APC Kogi West) said in his remarks that the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, must be brought before the Senate to be thoroughly grilled and humiliated for charging the Senate leadership with forgery in court. Mr. Melaye called on the Senators in attendance to fight the presidency to a standstill. In his rant, he issued a wide variety of threats.
Recognized to speak, Senator Remi Tinubu (APC) Lagos Central said the Senate should not be reduced to a kindergarten where Senators could just issue childish threats, and called on Senators to close ranks and seek reconciliation amongst its members. That was when Melaye flew into rage, calling her names.
"I will beat you up on this floor and nothing will happen," he threatened.
The statement caused a commotion on the floor as Senators in her support gathered to protect her. Senate Presient Saraki nodded as Melaye called mrs. Tinubu unprintable names according to Senators who intervened to save her from the rampaging Melaye. Leading the offensive in support of Melaye were Senators Danjuma Goje, Jibrin Barau, Isa Misau and Peter Nwaoboshi. A source told SaharaReporters there had been a series of meetings at the home of Senator Aliyu Wamakko (APC, Sokoto) to plot a total onslaught on President Buhari in the coming days.
In addition, the Senators held to be behind the current forgery trial were threatened by the like-minded Senators, with Melaye threatening to kill anyone who shows up in court to testify against Saraki and Ekweremadu.
The rancor between the Senate and the Presidency is expected to escalate leading to a summons to the new Inspector General of Police who will be forced to declare AGF Malami wanted if he refuses to show up at the Senate from there it was gathered that Senators opposed to Buhari would start impeachment proceedings against him.
Senators who spoke to SaharaReporters said the Senators supporting Saraki are united in crime and corruption because they've never had it so good, with over N260 billion padded into the budget in constituency projects, and sundry line items smuggled into the 2016 budget for their individual benefit.
There is, however, a seeming crack in Saraki's camp as some members have already pulled out or reduced their open support for him due to his many scandals. Senator Ali Ndume (APC) Borno South, for instance, has fallen out with the Senate President because he was openly accused of being too close to Buhari and nursing the ambition of becoming the Senate President. Ndume was absent from today's gathering.

EFCC conducting investigation by 'trial and error' – Fayose

Posted: 12 Jul 2016 09:58 AM PDT

Press statement from Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, Read below...
Ekiti State Government has said that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has promoted its vendetta against opponents of the All Progressives Congress (APC) government of President Mohammadu Buhari, especially the State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose to the level that the anti-corruption agency was now carrying out investigations by trial and error.
The government disclosed that "officials of the EFCC stormed a popular Guest House on Gana Street, Maitama, Abuja today to seal off the property believing that Governor Fayose owned the Guest House only for the EFCC officials to be confronted with the fact that operator of the Guest House leased the property from its owner for ten years."

In a statement signed by the Special Assistant the State Governor on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, the government said it was only in Nigeria that anti-corruption agency will first arrest suspect first before looking for evidences to prosecute the suspect.

The statement read; "Today, the EFCC demonstrated that it has been lying against Governor Fayose and other Nigerians all along by the failed attempt it made to seal off a property located on Gana Street, Maitama, Abuja that is being used as Guest House just because the governor used to lodge there. "It was at the point of sealing off the property that the owner of the Guest House told the EFCC officials that he only leased the property for ten years from its owner, a former Chief of Defence Staff, who was also a one-time Minister of Defence.

"The EFCC operatives moved to the next building to the Guest House, which is the residence of the retired army general and they were told by the general's wife that the building being used as Guest House as well the one next to it belonged to the general and not Governor Fayose.

"It is shocking that in its desperate bid to nail Governor Fayose so as to satisfy their paymasters, EFCC is going about claiming that properties owned by other law abiding Nigerians are owned by the governor and the result of this investigation by trial and error by the EFCC is the embarrassment it faced at Gana Street, Maitama, Abuja when its operatives went there to seal off a property belonging to a retired army general thinking that it belonged to the governor.

"That was the same way they told Nigerians that they discovered mansion in Asokoro, Abuja owned by the governor. Unknown to the EFCC, the mansion being referred to is a property rented by the Ekiti State Government and being used as Governor's Lodge."

While insisting that whatever properties owned by Governor Fayose were acquired thorough legitimate means, the government said like every other Nigerians, the governor reserved the rights to own properties and can also receive money from people to fund his election.

Finally revealed! The permanent cure for Type II diabetes

Posted: 12 Jul 2016 09:47 AM PDT

After so much research and inquiry into the cure of Diabetes, our team has finally laid to rest the silent killer called Diabetes. People have been rendered incapacitated due to the complications associated with this sickness, which is fast rising in the world today.

Most Diabetics are not comfortable with the conventional drugs they take because they would have to live with it for the rest of their lives. It is so because their drugs only dilute the sugar content in the blood but does not correct the anomaly in the body system that leads to Diabetes. www.soundhealthoption.com

Our natural miracle cure re-engineers/re-wires the body system and reactivates the hormone in the body called pancreas, which in turn produces sufficient insulin for the body. It therefore sustains this correction and makes the patient bid Diabetes farewell. www.soundhealthoption.com

It is better to take care of it ASAP because the complications associated with Diabetes are deadly and paralytic. People with diabetes have an increased risk of developing a number of serious health problems. Consistently high blood glucose levels can lead to serious diseases affecting the heart and blood vessels, eyes, kidneys, nerves and teeth. In addition, people with diabetes also have a higher risk of developing infections. In almost all high-income countries, diabetes is a leading cause of cardiovascular disease, blindness, kidney failure, and lower limbamputation.

Maintaining blood glucose levels, blood pressure, and cholesterol at or close to normal can help delay or prevent diabetes complications. Therefore people with diabetes need regular monitoring.

*Cardiovasculardisease: affects the heart and blood vessels and may cause fatal complications such as coronary artery disease (leading to heart attack) and stroke. Cardiovascular disease is the most common cause of death in people with diabetes. High blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood glucose and other risk factors contribute to increasing the risk of cardiovascular complications.  Click here to find out more:  www.soundhealthoption.com

*Kidney disease (diabetic nephropathy): caused by damage to small blood vessels in the kidneys leading to the kidneys becoming less efficient or to fail altogether. Kidney disease is much more common in people with diabetes than in those without diabetes. Maintaining near normal levels of blood glucose and blood pressure can greatly reduce the risk of kidney disease. Click here to find out more:  www.soundhealthoption.com

*Nerve disease (diabetic neuropathy): diabetes can cause damage to the nerves throughout the body when blood glucose and blood pressure are too high. This can lead to problems with digestion, erectile dysfunction, and many other functions. Among the most commonly affected areas are the extremities, in particular the feet. Nerve damage in these areas is called peripheral neuropathy, and can lead to pain, tingling, and loss of feeling. Loss of feeling is particularly important because it can allow injuries to go unnoticed, leading to serious infections and possible amputations. People with diabetes carry a risk of amputation that may be more than 25 times greater than that of people without diabetes. However, with comprehensive management, a large proportion of amputations related to diabetes can be prevented. Even when amputation takes place, the remaining leg and the person's life can be saved by good follow-up care from a multidisciplinary foot team. People with diabetes should regularly examine their feet. Click here to find out morewww.soundhealthoption.com

*Eye disease (diabetic retinopathy): most people with diabetes will develop some form of eye disease (retinopathy) causing reduced vision or blindness. Consistently high levels of blood glucose, together with high blood pressure and high cholesterol, are the main causes of retinopathy. It can be managed through regular eye checks and keeping glucose and lipid levels at or close to normal. Click here to find out more:  www.soundhealthoption.com

*Pregnancy complications: Women with any type of diabetes during pregnancy risk a number of complications if they do not carefully monitor and manage their condition. To prevent possible organ damage to the fetus, women with type 1 diabetes or type 2 diabetes should achieve target glucose levels before conception. All women with diabetes during pregnancy, type 1, type 2 or gestational should strive for target blood glucose levels throughout to minimize complications. High blood glucose during pregnancy can lead to the foetus putting on excess weight. This can lead to problems in delivery, trauma to the child and mother, and a sudden drop in blood glucose for the child after birth. Children who are exposed for a long time to high blood glucose in the womb are at higher risk of developing diabetes in the future.

Important things to do before going for fibroid surgery, you cannot afford to ignore it

Posted: 12 Jul 2016 09:35 AM PDT

What are fibroids then? Fibroids are muscular benign (not cancerous) tumors that grow in the wall of the uterus (womb). Another medical term for fibroids is "leiomyoma" or "myoma". Fibroids can grow as a single tumor, or many in the uterus. They can be as small as an apple seed or as big as a grapefruit. they tend to grow bigger in size during pregnancy. Click here http://bit.ly/1TXksLm

During a woman's reproductive years her estrogen and progesterone levels are high. When estrogen levels are high, especially during pregnancy, fibroids tend to swell. When estrogen levels are low fibroids may shrink.

What our product does is to balance these hormones. Once these hormones are balanced, there will be no growth of new fibroids and the already existing ones will start to shrink naturally with time because they will no longer be getting their nutrient from the source, and that will be by the help of our products. And there is nothing to fear because our products will only balance the excess estrogen and progesterone level and not stop the production completely.

Even if you don't believe that our product can eliminate fibroid, there is a need to bring down excess estrogen and progesterone level to normal with natural products not drugs before undergoing surgery.

Furthermore, why it's more better to control these hormones with natural supplements than drugs is because, drugs will only bring it down without dealing with the cause, that is by controlling the problem (manage), but our products addresses it from the root cause, by correcting the problem and giving you your health and fitness back completely. It is better to address natural issues with natural solutions. It is important to make it clear that estrogen in females are very important for ovulation but in a little quantity as excess of it is what leads to other complications of which  one of it is the growth of Fibroids i've been hammering on.  Click here http://bit.ly/1TXksLm

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS?
Ø  Heavy bleeding (which can be heavy enough to cause anemia) or painful periods
Ø  Feeling of fullness in the pelvic area (lower stomach area)
Ø  Enlargement of the lower abdomen
Ø  Frequent urination
Ø  Pain during sex
Ø  Lower back pain
Ø  Complications during pregnancy and labour, including a six-time greater risk of cesarean section
Ø  Reproductive problems, such as infertility etc

Would you like to join the thousands of Nigerian women who have been set free of fibroid? Follow this link: http://bit.ly/1TXksLm to know how She got rid of the Fibroids Naturally and avoided going for surgery or another surgery.

Alleged forgery: Senate threatens to order arrest of AGF, Abubakar Malami

Posted: 12 Jul 2016 09:30 AM PDT

The senate has threatened to order the arrest of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, if his fails to honor their invitation to explain the trial of senate President, Bukola Saraki and his deputy Ike Ekweremadu, on allegations of forgery of the senate standing order.

According to The Nation, the aggrieved senate members threatened to invoke necessary legislative powers including issuing an arrest warrant to drag Malami to appear before it.

The resolution followed explanation by the Chairman, Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, Senator David Umaru, on the circumstances surrounding the failure of Malami to honour the invitation of his committee. Malami who was billed to appear before the senate last week, sent in a representative, the Special Assistant to the President on Prosecution attached to the Federal Ministry of Justice, Okoi Obono-Obla, who had a mild confrontation with the senators. Obono-Obla at the meeting, told the senators that they lacked the powers to summon Malami as he, Malami, reports only to President Buhari and not the legislatures.

The angry senators later walked Obla out of the meeting. Senator Umaru while briefing the Senators on the outcome of the meeting, said
"The resolution of the Senate was for the committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters to invite the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice to appear before it and explain the reason behind attempts to prefer charges against the principal officers of this hallowed chamber. In line with the directive, we invited the Honourable Attorney General, first on the 23rd of June and on that date he did not appear but a letter was received by our committee to the effect that he needed more time to articulate its position and that he was out of the country. The committee obliged him, we scheduled another meeting for the 30th of June, on that day, the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice did not appear before the committee. However, somebody who claimed to be Mr. Oblar appeared to say that he was appearing on behalf of the minister. The committee therefore told him that he was not an invitee and that we will not attend to him and we asked him to leave. I have being informed by Senator Ita Enag (Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters) and I have received lots of attempts to reach me by the Hon. Attorney General. Senator Ita Enag have informed me that the Attorney General regrets his inability to respond to our petition and that he requests time to appear before us. I think it is important for the distinguished colleagues to be informed about this development and for us to request for more time to give him the opportunity to appear since he has indicated his willingness to appear before the committee."
Saraki who did not allow debate of the matter, insisted that the AGF must appear before the committee in line with the resolution of the Senate. He added they would have no choice than to follow strictly what the Constitution dictates if the AGF failed to honour the Senate.
"We all heard the explanation of the chairman Judiciary. What he is trying to get across to us here is to tell us the status of the situation because what we have been reading in the papers was of great concern where the number one judicial officer of the country will be the one that will be flouting the Constitution. Section 89 (c) of the Constitution is very clear. But it appears from what you are saying that the Attorney General is requesting for one more chance to be given to appear before you. The Senate is always in the progress of development; as such we will do that and ensure that he does come this time. Otherwise, we will have no choice than to follow the constitution strictly. So, you will report back to us before the end of the week to let us know the status of that situation. If that does not happen, we will go ahead and go in line with the Constitution very clearly."he said

Drunk & vomitting: Lamar Odom removed from a Delta Airline flight

Posted: 12 Jul 2016 09:11 AM PDT

A heavily intoxicated Lamar Odom was removed from a Delta airline flight after he threw up on the plane and had vomit all over him. Hope he doesn't end up in the hospital again! Here's how TMZ is reporting it.
Lamar Odom was taken off a Delta flight Monday night after getting wasted in the airport lounge and vomiting on the plane ... TMZ has learned. Lamar went to the Delta lounge at LAX before boarding a red-eye for NYC, and according to eyewitnesses was pounding down beers and whisky. By the time he got on the flight, we're told he was wasted.  Two passengers in first class tell TMZ, Lamar went to 4B and sat down, but as the plane was about to pull back he bolted for the front, threw up in the galley and then walked in the bathroom and with the door open threw up again. When he came out of the bathroom, we're told he had vomit on his clothes. The passengers tell us the flight attendants "gently" escorted Lamar off the plane, and a cleaning crew came on board to deal with the mess. The flight attendants put Lamar's carry-on belongings in a plastic bag and removed them from the plane.

Ten minutes later, Lamar suddenly reappeared and walked down the aisle -- with vomit still on his sweatpants -- and took his seat again. Minutes later, we're told Lamar got up and went back to the bathroom, using the heads of people in their seats to steady his balance.  One of the passengers then told the flight attendant, "Don't you know his history? I don't want a dead body at 30,000 feet." Lamar was again removed from the plane and the flight took off, arriving to NYC 40 minutes late.

CCT adjourns Senate President Bukola Saraki's trial

Posted: 12 Jul 2016 08:53 AM PDT

The Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Danladi Yakubu Umar, on Tuesday adjourned the trial of Senate President Bukola Saraki and all trials scheduled for this week and those to come within July and August. Saraki who is standing trial over his alleged false declaration of assets while he was governor of Kwara state, was slated to appear before the tribunal tomorrow July 13th.

A statement by the CCT spokesperson Ibraheem Al-Hassan, says the decision to adjourn all hearing was taken due to the ongoing Roundtable Discussion involving CCT and other critical stakeholders within and outside the country, to develop the Code of Ethics and Practice Directions for the Code of Conduct Tribunal to ensure fair and speedy trials, sponsored by European Union (EU) and implemented by United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, (UNODC).

The statement adds that Justice Umar assures litigants currently with cases before the court, that they would have their new dates shortly after the vacation in September and the new dates would be communicated to them appropriately.

Rowdy session at House of Representatives following debate on bill to introduce immunity for National Assembly leaders

Posted: 12 Jul 2016 08:56 AM PDT

It was a rowdy session at the House of Representatives today after a bill seeking to provide immunity for the leadership of the National Assembly while in office, was introduced. The bill which is being sponsored by Leo Ogor, the minority leader of the house, is proposing an amendment to section 308 of the Nigerian constitution to allow the national assembly leadership enjoy immunity while in office. Presenting the bill to members of the house, Ogor said;

"The amendment is straight forward but it needs some clear explanation. The amendment seeks to strengthen the national assembly. The leadership should be protected in the period they are in office."
His opinion was immediately countered by the majority leader of the house, Femi Gbajabiamila, who argued that since the Senate was presently having some issues, discussing a bill on immunity clause for National Assembly members is ill timed.
"We must feel the pulse of the people. There is something about timing, timing in any piece of legislation is important. There are issues in the senate and I pray it's resolved."he said
At this point the house became rowdy. After calm was restored, the speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara, said the bill would be sent to the special committee on constitutional review for proper scrutiny. He however passed the bill for second reading.
