Woman purchases pretty-looking night dress but there are naughty images in the detail Posted: 04 Jul 2016 01:46 PM PDT When it's so pretty you snap it up without paying attention only to later discover you should have thought better. That was the experience of a certain Shannon Brown, who is thought to be from Scotland. She discovered her newly purchased PJ set from Ann Summers featured antique illustrations of multiple people having sex. Shannon posted the image of herself wearing the pyjamas to Twitter (left) with the caption: 'When u buy ur Pj's out of Ann summers thinking its a cute design, to go home and realise folk are shaggin all over u.' The £21 nightwear is aptly named 'The Voyeur Lace Set' In an online description, the retailer hints at the nightwear's risque designs. 'The Voyeur Lace Set is a delightful concoction of comfort and sexy rolled into one. The cami has soft sheer lace cups finished with a big bow. 'The subtle monochrome print, reminiscent of French romantic illustration, looks innocent but upon closer inspection...it's naughtier than you think. |
Photos: Boy whose eyes were plucked out by ritualist in Kaduna gets enrolled in school Posted: 04 Jul 2016 01:27 PM PDT Three year old Abubakar Usman whose eyes were plucked out by some ritualists in Zaria, Kaduna state in January this year, has finally been enrolled into a school. Journalist, Femi Owolabi, who has been following his story, shared an update on the boy. Read what he wrote after the cut... And today, Abubakar Usman is officially enrolled in school! No, don't thank me, and don't shower me with your kind words. For every help that has come Abu's way, my darling sister and friend, Bawo Ebigbeyishould get all the thanks, kind words, and prayers. "Oh my son is finally in school!" that's Bawo, sharing her joy with me over the phone, when I informed her of the successful completion of Abu's registration. I like to say again, that I'm totally disappointed in Governor El-Rufai of Kaduna State. The report I did on Abu got to Mr Governor, and the only thing he did? He called Abu's father, telling him that he's read the report online and that the government is still going to do something. Story! What Kaduna State Government cannot do in 7 months, we have done it in just a week. We have fixed Abu in a good school that would cater for his special needs in Zaria! What's left to be done? Oh well, since Abu's father is jobless at the moment and also, for easy transportation to and fro school for Abu, we are thinking we should get a tricycle (Keke-NAPEP) for the father. When he drops the boy off school, he can then use the Keke for commercial purpose, which in turn, will empower him financially. In Zaria, I gathered that the price of the Keke is something around N550, 000. Oya, say hi to the school boy... |

Photos: Suicide bombing near prophet's mosque in Medina & Qatif, Saudi Arabia Posted: 04 Jul 2016 12:40 PM PDT Four Saudi security force members were killed on Monday after a suicide outside one of Islam's holiest sites, the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, a Saudi-owned television channel reported. Al-Arabiya news channel showed images of fire raging in a parking lot with at least one body nearby and said the suicide attack took place in a parking lot between the city court and the mosque. Other sites showed images of what appeared to be a fire outside one of the buildings overlooking the Prophet's Mosque. The attack near the prophet's mosque took place during Maghreb prayers, the time Muslims break their fast during the holy month of Ramadan. Security forces have cordoned off the area. Two other suicide bombings also took place in the eastern city of Qatif on Monday evening, residents said. They reported seeing body parts on the ground in the city's business district. Al Arabiya News Channel's correspondent said worshippers were unhurt following the attack. "Suicide bomber for sure. I can see the body " which was blasted to pieces, a resident told the AFP news agency Another resident, Nasima al-Sada, told AFP that one bomber blew himself up near a mosque. A third witness told Reuters that one explosion destroyed a car parked near a mosque, followed by another explosion just before 7pm local time. The sprawling mosque where the Prophet Muhammad is buried is visited by millions of Muslims from around the world each year during pilgrimages to Makkah. The area would have been teeming with pilgrims for prayer during the final days of the holy month of Ramadan, which ends this week. |
Nigerian forward, Ahmed Musa set for record move to Leicester City Posted: 04 Jul 2016 12:35 PM PDT English champions Leicester City are set to break their record transfer fee for the second time in a matter of days by buying Nigerian international attacking midfielder Ahmed Musa, his agent told the BBC on Monday. The 23-year-old, who scored a brace for Nigeria in a 3-2 defeat of Lionel Messi's Argentina at the 2014 World Cup, will see his present side Russian outfit CSKA Moscow receive £16.6 million (S$29.7 million) - a record outlay for Leicester. "Everything has been finalised and Musa will be in England for his medical on Wednesday," Musa's agent Tony Harris told BBC Sport. Musa's soon to be former coach Leonid Slutsky said the Nigerian - who scored 53 goals in 161 matches for CSKA since joining them in 2012 - would be ideal for the Premier League. "If you look at the way things are done over there you'll see he is a player just made for English football," Slutsky said. According to the BBC, Musa rejected the advances of Leicester's rivals Southampton, Everton and West Ham. |

Posted: 04 Jul 2016 09:18 AM PDT Controversial American rapper Azealia Banks has admitted to bleaching her skin and took to Facebook to explain her decision to use products to make her skin lighter. In the video posted on Saturday, July 2, the 25-year-old explains to her fans and viewers why she's opted to lighten her skin. She compared skin lightening to getting a nose job or wearing a weave: "What's the difference between getting a nose job and changing your skin color? What's the difference between getting a hair weave and changing your skin color? Nobody was upset when I was wearing 30-inch weaves and tearing out my edges. You guys loved it, but what is the difference? I don't understand what the difference is," she said. She further explained her decision to change her skin color, saying that it's an attempt to assimilate into American society, and that changing her skin color didn't negate her views on blackness. Some of her fans/viewers insulted her while a few supported her. See some of their comments and her replies below, also watch the video. |

Forgery Case: Melaye Alerts on Attempts to Tamper With Evidence Posted: 04 Jul 2016 08:30 AM PDT Chairman, Senator Committee on Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West has raised the alarm on what he called a plan by certain individuals to doctor the Police report on the investigation of allegation of forgery leveled against the leadership of the Senate so as to make the report to indict Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Senator Ike Ekweremadu. Melaye in a statement in Abuja today stated that those behind the sinister plot are scheming to forge a police report different from the one signed by AIG James Caulcrick in other to justify and prove a case of forgery against the Senate President and the deputy president. He said it was necessary for members of the public to be aware of the 'unlawful plan'. "We have our own sources and we have been reliably informed that the prosecution having realized that there is a big hole in their case against Saraki and Ekweremadu who were not mentioned in the police report, are now trying to doctor the report and include the names of both presiding officers of the Senate. We are aware of that development and we want members of the public to know the level of desperation that these people are ready to go to nail the Senate President and his deputy. "It is because of this plan that they refused to include the police report in the process they filed in court. We have said it repeatedly that the government and specifically, the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Mr. Abubakar Malami has no case against our presiding officers. They filed the case to distract the two men, embarrass them, force a change of leadership and eventually cow the Senate, in particular, and the National Assembly, in general. "The forgery case is the height of desperation by some elements to bring down the legislature. Malami has a personal agenda to achieve an objective for which he has been hired as a counsel by a few aggrieved Senators. Now, a court has affirmed our claim that he is abusing his office and that there is a conflict of interest involving him. "The said police report is already in the public space. The media has published it verbatim. We will be watching them to see how they will smuggle Saraki and Ekweremadu's names into it. This is the height of desperation and we will continue to monitor developments on it. It is clear those who initiated this forgery suit against the leadership of the Senate know that they have made a mistake. They should cut their losses and discontinue the error. "To think that they will now use forgery to justify a false case of forgery, further their abuse of the court process as well as abuse of office and think we will be looking at them will not be possible. We will call on the courts to continue to play their role as the last resort for every man who wants justice at all times and in all circumstances", the Senator stated. Signed Senator Dino Melaye Chairman, Senate Committee on Federal Capital Territory (FCT) |
